i am the last to walk this path
as i look at the people around me
my eyes fill with tears
for they don't know
there lives are built on ignorance
sometimes i smile
for they walk with me
i am the last to hold this wait
i have chosen to carry this
this fate is mine and mine alone
joy floods in to my soul
as but one hears
just one make the wait light
as he stands up and walks alone
