Shells

Porcelain shells sit obediently on gift shop shelves
while curious children press them tight against pink ears
and listen for the waves of far away seas..

Deep inside there cries the voice of mother earth
in a pulsating womb that of oceans far away,
begging to be returned to the bosom of Neptune's kingdom..

The earth is crying indeed because of man made pollution and calamities. Very nicely said and done. You are my favourite poet :)
