Purple rain

1)I feel the breeze
   while i watch the rain
   falling down from heaven
   like drops of tears
landing all over green living things

2)Fleshly creatures are running wild
   looking for cover
while the earth drinks up joyfully
   all of the sudden
   lighting strikes the ground
   without warning
as if heaven was mad at the earth

3)Three seconds later
   heaven speaks with great authority
   the world shakes with fear

4)Earthly creatures witnessed the event
   yet we cannot understand

5)Only nature knows
   what the heavenly father says

       GOD IS AN ARTIST.

I wonder what other types of conversations Mother nature and God might have? Nicely done. The last line brings it all together. Adding "the symbol" would be a nice touch. LOL

I like these lines, Diogenes: "Fleshly creatures are running while/ looking for cover/ while the earth drinks up joyfully"...intriguing title. Ruben.
