I was once

I was once a boy who loved his life but fell to the path and took up the knife and died
inside but put up a fight and fell to the floor in sweet twilight. I licked my wounds and
ans calmed my mind a looked at my wrist with Cold dead eyes.

I was once a boy who could not see the reason to live was right in front of me, to fight
the fight to win the war to never being nothing more then a child with a sword who cut him
self to feel the rush why his family hushed and put him away to never see another day.

I was once a boy but am now a man with no home and empty hands and blood stand wrist and a
knife in hand. ~ Jeff
