My Special Place
I know there is a special place
where I can always go;
That is so perfectly calming
when my burdens overflow.
It's not of brick or mortar
No travel time it takes;
Just step away to be alone
and there He always waits.
The comfort that is given
no earthly home compares;
to fall into His loving arms
and tell Him all my cares.
He always has an open door
and bids me come on in;
This patient loving Father
restores my strength within.
I love this place so dearly
I visit there everyday!
I leave my every burden
When I kneel with Him and pray!
