Unabashed Confusion II -Who am I?

Who am I?

A bleary image through

rain streaked windows,

a wish devoid of substance –

lost on dandelion breezes –

a sigh in the ears of the deaf.

I crack my lips with

unspoken questions and declarations.

I am complete stillness, for once

silent.

I am the thirty pieces of silver,

enclosed in frayed

betrayal, sitting coarse beside ten-thousand

glittering bricks of solid gold.

Still I call to you, through

wreathes of inferiority –

still I reach for you, through

misty veils and storms –

still I plead with you,

rosy with hope and

unabashed in confusion.

Micaela, I wrote your sweet name because I wanted to taste in my mouth the way I tasted the comments you wrote - truly inspiring, thanks. Judas is dead, but silver, wherever they are, are immortal. They were the price for Christ when he was the price for the world, where does the greater value lie in the history of causes? God write.

'...frayed betrayal,' '...wreathes of inferiority,' vivid and striking language. A marvelous companion piece to Part 1. Best wishes, Keith
