Read Poems by John Heck

Fstop. (SNAP!)

our moment.

our pier.
one second;
a singled slipped ray -
senses and egresses
ambient light
into the
bloodstream of
two enamored
lovers.

Fstop. (SNAP!)

our reflection.

my wanting you.
my private folding
twice into your arms.
thrice thinking
through the threads
of my theatrical
innocent glow;
forwarding my kisses
forth. to you.
back to me -
for us.

Fstop. (SNAP!)

our day.

our daydreams will
shoot the light fantastic.
like the sun -
omnipresent.
a whispered warmth
leaks within
my heart.
it secretly
spills upon your breasts -
it longingly stings, like
gilded particles
of dazzled sunshine;
silently burning
my penance into your wishes -
like smoldering embers.

(my camera clicks)

Fstop.  (SNAP!)

our bright
afternoon.

like a private
morning glow
shining;
for a once
removed two -
now burn
Mr. Sunshine's
latitudes
and longitudes
into our
burnt flesh.
my sunshine -
am i invited
with camera down to
your opened arms -
your powdered legs -
and...?

Fstop. (SNAP!)

I'm blinded
by your prismed stare.

Smile, sunshine...
beam bright
as I adjust the

aperture.
