It's time I took a turn
away from this one horse town
to find a place brimming
with succcess and happiness.
It's time I took a turn
away from this boredom
that's smelding my senses
and shaming my confidence.
It's time I took a turn
away from these folk
who slur and spat
and spit and spite.
It's time I took a turn
to get off this beaten track
and find a place
to sleep content.
