Obselete

I'm obselete,
Yesterday's news
Cast aside
In the name of progress

Left on the shelf
To wither and die
Like a dusty ZX Spectrum
Or Polaroid camera

Out of sight
And out of mind
No longer a burden
For my beloved family

I pray for death
To kick down the doors
And end these lonely hours
Of staring into space

He's the one thing
That never goes out of date
So please deliver me
To heaven's gate
