My Dearest Kin (Part 2)

My Dearest Kin (Part 2)

Smile, valleys of despair splinter on both sides of I
Alas, my dearest kin, you despise I
Syllables echoing on the walls, yet it’s a one-way road
No bravery as hesitation slams my door
Frown, the valleys rush more.

Trust thyself oh kin of mine, for your eyes manifest
No more can thee glance upon I and sweeten
I am at thy disposal..
O! Dearest kin -- I!
Trust you.

Grin, rivers of sorrow end at both sides of I
Why, my dearest kin, do you not believe!
I believe that you can smirk into my words
No fabrications are spoken now! No more!
Sulk, the rivers implore.

It is pathetic to implore one’s self to impede the weeping
Yet the sweltering wound has large chasm beyond
Unable to regenerate, unable to refill optimism
My dearest kin, glance at me! Just once more
And tell me, brother, tell me nevermore…

Brother! Thy words crushed my transcended emotion
Brother! Thy words relieved me from the angels
And cast upon I the devils of grief and sorrow
Brother… trust me not because the wanting of I to trust
But for my never-ending inspiration I sense in you
I am at thy disposal.
