Concept of Time

A fabric of thought

A state of the unknown

A woven measurement called time

Alway moving forward toward infinity

No boundries, no mass,no form,

only the ticking of the clock

Or the rising and setting of the sun

or light and darkness

Makes us aware of change

Silently, it moves throughout the universe

Constant, steady, unseen, an unknown entity

A concept calculated by man

A fragment called time.

Wow, this had a deep philisophical message to this, too--not only a poem. Time is something to be pondered, but how elusive it is to us. You captured it very well, however. Regards, Sara:)

A complexly easy poem. You really capturd all of the elements that make up time. It flows very easily off the page and really captures something that cannot be captured. Excellent work. Nice to read you again Phyllis. My best, Charlie

    I like this...quite a few years ago,i wrote a piece in regards to time,which is more of a philosophical rendition,than a poetical expression...but,i luv the way you have written this,simply,on yet a complex subject......very nice.....peace , jay
