Life

Why do people want to get old?
Is it not us who pray so hard,
To become young again afterwards?

Why do people pray for more age?
Is it not us who weep all night,
Wanting our skins of youth again?

Why do people wish to pass time?
Is it not us who fear to die,
And wish to live for one more day?

Why do people desire for more years?
Is it not us who long for our childhood,
When we have reached our adulthood?

I guess we are all just perfectly human,
Our lives, we can never fully understand.

Love and Trust,
B.B.
