Sweetness

How were last precious seconds spent?
Through His sweetness,
He forgave us,
His son He sent.
How were hurried minutes put to use?
Through His sweetness ,
He guided us,
We will not be confused.
Why were short-lived hours littered of alibis?
Through his sweetness,
He gave glory and sanctified.
Why were final days worked godless, empty and blue?
Through His sweetness,
His honor and law kept us true.
How did toiled weeks pass swiftly by?
Through his sweetness,
His sons salvation ,did not let us die.
How did months yield spirits so marred?
Through his sweetness,
He reminded us:
"Worship me,
  Praise me.
I will remove all scar!"
How did our death finally come to an end?
Through His sweetness,
He raised us,
Everlasting life we spend.
