Flowers on a Path

I follow the path of flowers that’s near Each one a little different than the next I desire to be close, with petals dear Their blossoms are fancy and quite complex Each one a little different than the next I can smell their fragrance in the calm air Their blossoms are fancy and quite complex There’s not a bit of dismay nor despair I can smell their fragrance in the calm air There is peace and tranquility about There’s not a bit of dismay nor despair Living things they are, I sure will not pout There is peace and tranquility about I kneel down to pluck one up off the ground Living things they are, I sure will not pout The flowers, though loud, are the best around I kneel down to pluck one up off the ground The flower is red, that’s full of beauty The flowers, though loud, are the best around I’ve been blessed to see them actually The flower is red, that’s full of beauty I desire to be close, with petals dear I’ve been blessed to see them actually I follow the path of flowers that’s near

Love in Poetry

How do I write my love in poetry? Spin it around a needle’s company I succumb to the wishes that’s displayed Straight into my heart, a bed that is made Words that focus not on the worldly things Making love formed by surely everything Almost all my chimed poetry is filled Tinging of the bells on my window sill My poems flow from my pen to your head Allowing even the strange come to bed Obstinate people combined with some change Must read of my love, they will rearrange My lovely other, sits upon the throne Love ties us as one, prepares what is known Russell Sivey

Nature Sounds

The wind against the trees make a rustling A sound unlike any other around The rubbing of the limbs craft a bustling It’s a subtle music which brings this sound Even the lake near land has a ripple The wind against the trees make a rustling And the grass nearby swishes and baffles And the wind seems to give a great panting The water has another sound, bubbling Sounds permeate all throughout this calm place The wind against the trees make a rustling Mountain sits mighty with sounds on its face Even the light seems to speak of high marks The scene enlightens higher than heartstrings Sound is the number one part that embarks The wind against the trees make a rustling…

Crimson Sky

There’s scarlet within the warm sky tonight A crimson feel that envelopes alright I love the sight of every form of red Yellow seeps in with orange that bled World moves effortlessly along with this The colors of majestic times you wish I see the sky this dusk with awe and glee Seemingly to make me complete and free A crimson sky beams with peace and delight Sun dips into the ground and out of sight Birds recognize this beauty and dips down Reaches in the heart of the glow around Tranquil with love through the entry parlor The sky is filled with an awesome color

Dance Of The Butterflies

I had received lots of love in years past I have felt all joys and pitfalls of it No pain seems to enter my simple life Love entertains me, that wonderful hit I know my life floats above tender hearts That which brings love, but sometimes avoids me I move quickly this way and that in air I have “dance of the butterflies” simply My life moves in all respects here and there Highs and lows of dance are of gratitude Love escapes my lips to my gracious love My eyes have passion that brings attitude

She Cries Tears

Her eyes show so much emotion inside She has certainly formed a trail of tears Leaving marks where the tears rolled down her face There’s no greater pain than what’s on her face The feeling she has, grows from the inside She cries so much there are a lot of tears She knows no other way but to cry tears Sullen look forms on her, right on her face Crying also happens way deep inside From inside she cries tears onto her face

The Forbidden Fruit

Eve presents the fruit, the forbidden fruit A special unknown fruit from that one tree A fruit that God said one should never eat Then the snake came to shower the fruit free Nothing bad, he says, will come from eating God didn’t want the power to be known The snake explained that they would be as God Satan showed his ploy so well, he has sown We took the fruit and ate it and life changed We now have knowledge, of good and evil Pain and hatred also came along too All that is bad sure did come to reveal God cursed the snake, that of the devil’s tool But we must carry our sin for all time The curse from the first bite that we did eat And it wasn’t worth the pain we aligned God was quite disappointed with humans Hating to give us our just punishment But we were now found walking with figs on Ashamed of not doing God’s commandment To this day we are filled with sin each day Starting right from the first couple’s mistake Now we must wallow inside their bad choice Suffering the punishment we did make

Bright Geen Land

Up the rolling hills As much green as one can see Meeting with blue sky As colors swirl together Beauty expressed with its heart The greatest green grass Displaying color outside On the brightest fields A gorgeous feel about it A love on the ground below The hills move around Where the sky fills, up above A cyan blue shown Mixed perfectly with the green Of the wondrous grass pronounced The greenery here In this harmonious land Brightens the dreary A happy day is brought forth From this delightful green place

Initials on a Tree

I sign your initials on an old tree And surround it with a heart of desire I want the world out there to come and see The world needs to see our heart completely That’s been put on this tree with love and fire I sign your initials on an old tree People want to view this tree tenderly It’s not like the tree sits on any mire I want the world out there to come and see Heart is formed with love eventually The tree should never be placed on a pyre I sign your initials on an old tree Formed are letters of our names perfectly All the letters put on smoothly not dire I want the world out there to come and see The world can see our kind heart lovingly Our love together shall never expire I sign your initials on an old tree I want the world out there to come and see
