Golden Vanilla

Maybe its the way the sun
Reflects off what drips off your tongue
As melting drops of creamy white
Just disappear within my site....
Only to appear once more
But not the same spot as before
As I watch the trails of crème recess
And disappear below your dress....
Giving me the awesome thrill
Of wondering what it will chill
While listening for any sound
You make as it is running down....
I grab your hands around a cone
To catch each drip before you moan
Then watching as it slowly fills
But crouching right before it spills....
Then and only then I lick
The places that it didnt stick
Grabbing for another cone
Enjoying what Ive always known.

Angel of Death

I see that they are grieving,
But I know I'll be ok,
The Angel sitting next to me,
Has come to take away...
The doubts that I am having,
All the pain that I am in,
Forgiving my discretions,
And the last time that I sinned...
The loved ones that surround me,
Drown in tears of disbelief,
As I try and raise my hand,
To bring some solace to their grief...
But the rhythm of deep thumping,
Of my heartbeat thru the bed,
Resonates a fading frequency,
That's slowing down instead...
As the Angel helped me rise,
After taking my last breath,
Took a look into my eyes,
And blessed the body that was left
I don't know just what I'm feeling,
But I'm glad it took so long,
As I float above the ceiling,
Filling gospel with my song...

In the distance I see heaven,
Just beyond some pearly gates,
And I hope the lord is willing,
To forgive all my mistakes...
I'll miss my friends and family,
But dare not turn around,
As they celebrate the life of me,
Without making a sound...
You see there's something deeper,
So someday they'll understand,
When their Angel becomes keeper,
They will gently take their hand...
And point in a direction,
That they'be never seen before,
Which may seem like reflections,
Looking thru another door...
Immaculate attire,
And the robe that I am in,
Will never cast a shadow,
Since the light comes from within...
Now I'm on the other side,
With angels next to me,
Though my body may have died,
An angel set me free...

Talking Trees

Somehow the very path I stroll,
Still has us both connected,
If not for all the leaves too old,
I never would detect it...
At every glance a tree that's bare,
Seems just as ordinary,
Until the breeze that shapes the air,
Divulges the contrary....
The smell of all the virgin wood,
Engulfs me in a womb,
Reminding me of what it should,
And smells of her perfume...
Touching me in such a way,
That words cannot explain,
Clutching me until I say,
Three words before her name...
( I love you )
Tomorrow I will take my walk,
Along this path again,
And look for you in trees that talk,
Until my journey ends ...

Come Pray

Come bathe within his glory,
It is he who know's our story,
No longer will it shame you,
You are free from all the blame too,
The times you thought were frightening,
That you now see as enlightening,
Were the lessons of existence,
Overdressed in your persistence...
Take a step in my direction,
And be a part of this connection,
That is shared among the giving,
And to those no longer living,
For it's they who rise before us,
As he promised in a chorus,
Led by angels at an alter,
Like the columns of gibralter...
If you take the hand of thunder,
It will pull you from up under,
So leave the body on the surface,
Because it's your soul that has a purpose....
Come pray.....

Symptom

Some things are just symptoms,
Take a look and don't invent some,
Poor excuse for the lack of truth,
When you let it gain momentum...
Don't blame it on society,
As the cause of your anxiety,
It's the lack of thought in what you were taught,
That will keep you from propriety...
If you look into the mirror,
And the images get clearer,
What looks back at you is in focus too,
And it draws you to come nearer...
But if there's no reflection,
Then its hiding from detection,
That's where it will stay until it finds a way,
To re-appear for your inspection...

Matter of Time

Baby I know you miss
The way I kiss you head to toe
Caressing you and pressing you
So close so you would know
That if there came a moment
You and I would be apart
We’ll feel that same connection
Through the beating of our hearts
Like a hummingbird in autumn
Hovering on satin wings
We dance in life’s sweet nectar
And rejoice in all it brings
Because what we share is special
And will stand the test of time
A pact we made together
That will last until we die
So if you start to falter
Find your strength in these few lines
Because the shortest distance between us
Is really just a matter of time….

What Is Love

I often ask the man in me
If I lost love would I still see
That midnight star that shines so bright
To warm me on the coldest nights
Like an angels tear it brings the rain
To wash my wounds and heal my pain
Such wonder must be heaven sent
And every chance I bathe in it
So is it really fair of me
To question what God’s given thee
Which warms me when I see your face
Yet multiplies when we embrace
And as I watch you in your sleep
Drifting off to somewhere deep
I stay awake till night has left
To make sure you don’t miss a breath
Again I ask the man in me
Just what is love and now I see
That love is pure and always true
Stays by your side so love is you….

Blasian

She's my ebony princess
With an asian twist
Such a heavenly mistress
In a blasian mist....
That rises above me
To take the place
Of what doesn't love me
And fills the space...
Becoming each reason
To wake and breathe
And heal any lesion
That made me bleed...
Re-tying the heart strings
That broke apart
Denying the one thing
That made it start....
Shes my ebony princess
With that asian swag
Inevitably impressed
Just to be her dad...

Candle In the Wind

I've made this trip 1000 times,
For better or for worse,
This wooden bench that wore my spine,
Is where we had our first...
This cupcake and a candle,
Is the most that I could carry,
To celebrate the life we spent,
Everyday that we were married...
In spirit you still have a home,
To lay and rest your head,
Although it feels like Im alone,
I can feel you in my bed...
Every picture has a deeper meaning,
Than it ever did before,
So I look for you in every dream,
Until I cant cry anymore...
And the candle left a year ago,
Leaves me without a doubt,
That when the wind decides to blow,
It is you who blew it out...

Intellectual Foreplay

Even if we will never touch
Or see the other one just as much,
Our conversations still takes a tone,
Between the whispers and after moans...
As soothing treble become the bass,
On such a level your voice escapes,
Replacing touches you used to feel,
With words in such a way that's so real...
Massage my cortex and rub my soul,
With bits and pieces that make you whole,
Such alphabetical pleasantry,
You're hypothetically here with me...
Comprise a theme full of lust and sin,
Inside a dream that you'll hide me in,
Then bare your mind unto only me,
Prepare to find what your body needs...
Although you linger on every word,
Remember what you have felt and heard,
So when you daydream you won't forget,
The reason why it will end so wet....
