-human-

-Daily Poetry #19, February 16, 2017-
Word: Human

As
soon as
I was born,
a label was
thrown on my forehead.
The world had planned it out,
I was just another doll
in this vast world's society.
Straight, Christian, Gay, Agnostic, loveless,
What label would they throw on me this time?
A nerd, a cheerleader, a nobody,
why do I question where I belong?
Is it because of the label?
Reaching up, I rip off the
thing that won't define me.
I am nothing but
HUMAN, for I
am alive,
and still
here.
I
can feel
emotion;
love, hate, and I
am still happy here.
I see the world through eyes
that may be worn, but still shine.
Bright colours, sun and rain, I see
a world where I am just a HUMAN.
And nothing but my near future matters.
Black, white, Native American, labels
don't matter when everyone's alike.
It's a future I would look towards,
where everyone can express
themselves freely and smile.
If humanity
is what we are,
we will make
our own
love.

Sagittarius

What an unfair, inevitable story.
Failing to count all these tears I continue to cry.
I hide away in a secret place, alone for my time,
Is there no more miracles to hope for, just lies?

The sweet, heartbreaking moments in our times,
As the amber glow starts to fade around.
At the end of this neverending dreams,
I tried to open my eyes, only to fall to the ground.

If my tears never cease, I’ll just walk forward.
I can still sense it, and I try to trace the last of you.
I’ll keep protecting it with everything I’ve got,
Because this hidden world is meant for us two.

If the tears of mine never stop, I’ll continue walking forward,
A future of ours that continues on for eternity.
If I choose this path, the stabbing pain in my heart fades,
As I walk to you, the things I lost will be nothing but a memory.

If I can never stop crying, then so be it,
I’ll learn my right and wrong as I near you.
As I continue on this winding path, I am stronger now,
Finding that world meant for us two.

The world meant for us two.

Together Again

In this town of night, it's lit by a light,
The sound of a loud, creaking gear and a wheel,
It echoed as I walked.
But do I have an address?
I cannot walk very well, my leg will not heal.

Why was I born into this world?
Why is my heart silver instead of gold?

I remember that person say "You are a special doll,"
Dancing and singing as he praised me over and over.
Even now, I sing always,
He will not open his eyes,
And sing about a sky of azure.

Why did I come to this Earth?
I'll only sing for eternity, waiting for rebirth.

Someday I'll sleep,
Then go to where that person is.
But my wish does not come true,
I sing, live,
And break in a red hue.

Time passes, and I even forget songs,
I hurry to that place he sleeps.
While I drag my cracked body,
Drying my eye as it weeps.

To the place where flowers connect the ocean,
Now, I'll rest my weary head.
Together,
With that person.

My wish will come true,
"It was fine, you lived once."
I heard that person's voice,
It was nearby.
"Give me a chance!"

In my dreams, I heard the voice many times,
It resounds in my aching heart.
A peaceful light,
Envelopes me,
But I smile.

I smile.

Thank You, But I'M Leaving

Thank you to everyone that has seen my poems,
But I have to tell you now, I am leaving.
This place isn't for me, it's not where I belong,
So please just carry on.

I'm sorry if my poetry did not satisfy you,
I tried my best with everything I had.
But it seems my words weren't up to standards,
So my voice is going unheard.

I'm sorry for annoying you with a petty rant,
But I just want to prove a point in this world.
To know that I am accepted in this place,
To know that I am home.

So thank you once more,
For everything you've done.
But I have to go now,
Please carry on.

-mitochondria-

Daily Poetry #59, March 28, 2017
Word: Mitochondria

108 billion people, and still, life just plays on repeat,
It’s grown so dull that we don’t care who we meet.
Just a pile of meat steaks and trash bags,
We mindlessly make it through as the day drags.

206 bones in my body, and yet, I don’t feel strong enough,
Though you tell me I’ll make it, crush me, I’m not tough.
Watch the clock tick until your favourite show comes on,
And sit down to waste away until you’re gone.

100 billion cells in the brain, and yet, I’m still useless,
As my head is full of nonsense, for I’m choice less.
Stab me in the head with a spoon, and candy will spill,
For that’s how corrupt I am, through pain, I smile still.

10 million billion mitochondria in my body, and yet, I’m not working,
All around you, let’s dance and laugh, as they’re lurking.
Wait for everything to completely disappear before you laugh,
Or you may be labeled different and cut in half.

108 billion people, and still, nothing changes,
Choking down emotions as everything rearranges.
“What’s your name?” I smile at such a dumb question,
And laugh until it hurts from death of asphyxiation.

Give Me a Chance

I can't be the only one who thinks this too,
I won't stop shouting until it's through.
Some of us are tired of being pushed aside,
No! I refuse to stand and wait, I refuse to abide!

I'm sorry I don't have the money to be a premium member here,
I shouldn't need the membership to be noticed, I won't fear!
I'll shout to the rooftops until I get what lots of people deserve,
We want to be accepted, we want to be here, we already are a member!

Delete this poem, does it look like I care?
I'll post another, I'll make it "fair."
Kick me out of the website, sure, do it,
I'll be coming back, bit by bit.

There are people out there, not just me, that want to be seen,
But of course, WE GET NOTHING, we're not on your screen!
All those people that are featured, THEY ARE ALWAYS PREMIUM MEMBERS,
I don't really think that's very fair, there are no regular members!

We just want to be noticed, we want to be here,
But no one cares, no one is near.
Don't we have good poetry too?
It seems we are very few.

Miracle Paint

In a dark dusk canvas, I watched the wine red sunset go down on my way,
I wonder if your heart can paint out my feelings for you?
This evening, we both have plenty of time, so let's spend it with each other,
Let's be at ease and sit back, watching as it begins~!

Miracle Painting,
Miracle show time,
I'll put you in a trance with my magical brush strokes,
Up to the tip of my nails, your colours will be on my canvas.

With my beautiful dress, I'm basking in the starry sky's bright limelight,
With pride, I dance on my tip-toes, looking at you, I feel so happy!
This evening is the best, as I apply highlights around a blue eye pupil,
Embrace me tight, if we pile layers of love, we'll move along~!

Miracle painting,
Miracle romance,
I'll put love into this magical brush stroke,
Up to the tip of my hair, it's all for you.

This night with you, I wonder how many dreams there are, the overflowing feelings,
I can't count them out, I just can't convey them! It's not enough...
That's why, at this magical moment,
It's not over.

Miracle painting,
miracle show time,
This magical brush stroke has already entranced you,
But I still want to give you more of my colours.

Please don't end it yet, miracle painting,
A technique full of captivation,
There are still more final touches I need to apply, so please wait,
Then I will tell you, from the bottom of my heart,

I love you~!

Missing Piece

My love, all I see,
Is the shadow of you here.
I can't move on now
Because you left me empty,
And you hold that missing piece.

The Story of a Weak Person

I have been walking on this trail
For a very long time now.
I don’t want to lose the others,
So I have to hurry!
Go, go, go, hurry, hurry!

As I ran, I tripped and fell
On the tracks.
I lost the others!
I can’t see them, and
My leg aches!

“I can’t walk!”
I cry for a long time,
Waiting for something to happen,
But nothing,
I’m all alone.

I felt so sad,
Sink, sink, sink in my tears.
But I heard a voice, though small,
It called right to me,
I feel it.

“Where are you?
I’ll come right now!”
He was hurt in the same way,
As me.
“Don’t worry, I’m here for you.”

“I’m not lonely anymore,
Because you are with me!”
I smile,
And so does he.
“I agree!”

“I can’t find my way back to the rail,
But I found a better path with you here.
I’m really glad
I got to meet you!”
The heart is warm.

I don’t feel sad,
I’m better with you around!
Very very warm!
I never want to
Leave you!

“I may not have met you,
Unless I cried my tears,
But I feel so much better with you!”
There’s no need
To cry anymore!

I may have lost the rail
I was walking upon,
But no matter what,
I will always find you!
The heart is bursting with warmth!

Empty Water

The lonely scent of a drop of rain,
It floods, then disappears to ground.
If only people were as aware as so,
Then loneliness would no longer be around.

The lively smell of the ocean,
Sea salt and the long tides that make music.
If only we didn't crash like the water against sand,
We would be stronger, brick by brick.

The long lost scent of a teardrop,
As it streams down your cheek.
The scent I thought would have disappeared,
But our bonds were much too weak.

Water is just another thing,
To say my mind is flooded with emotions,
But if I could truly feel my heart as it races,
My ocean wouldn't feel so empty by my actions.
