Stormy Days

I don't know how or when but I'm gonna get there Even if I must battle Tidal wave or fierce typhoon I'll fight hurricane and storm Knowing your love will keep me warm No matter what it takes I'll get there soon Storm clouds may be gathering There will be grey days ahead Blue skies seem like distant dreams When thunder fills your head Just remember all the good times Forget everything that's been bad New memories to be made Let’s be happy not sad Throughout your long journey I’ve been with you every step of the way Although we may be far apart You are in my thoughts every day Our friendship is so precious We have a unique bond Just remember me my friend Our love will keep us strong. You mean everything to me With all I am or hope to be I'm gonna spend my whole life Loving you My heart cannot be free Because you hold the key and to my heart I must be true So darling I'm gonna get there soon. You'Ve Changed My Life Completely

You’ve changed my life completely
Can’t bear it when we‘re apart
For every waking moment
You are forever in my heart

I can’t stop smiling when I think of you
Love everything you say and do
Can’t wait until there comes a time
When I know you’re truly mine

A word from you and I'm wearing a silly grin
You're the cream in my coffee, the sugar in my tea
I feel I can face the challenges of life and always win
You have become the missing part of me

Because of you I now feel whole
My heart is full and at last I'm content
I feel your warmth in the depths of my soul
Every second with you is a second well spent

Just a smile from you and my heart skips a beat
With you in my life I am fully complete
We have our whole life ahead to share
You’re the love of my life no other can compare

A million beautiful butterflies landed on us as we slept
They carry us to paradise where loving souls are kept
Here we're given holy blessing for the relationship we share
The angels smile in heaven when true love is in the air

Jumping For Joy - Jadazzle Are Finally Reunited

Jan and Daz are so so happy
United are Jadazzle
Many months have passed
Poetry writing has been put on hold
It's been over a year... but we
Never gave up believing we would write together
Good times are just around the corner

Friendship oh so strong
Overt faith in each other
Radiating from united hearts

Joyous in our reunion
Optimism will be our byword
Yesterday is but a memory

12th August 2015

This is our first poem in about 14 months - writing together again was a dream that has finally come true - Jadazzle are well and truly reunited.

Vacation Disaster

We arrived at the airport quite late
My passport was months out of date
My husband was snappy
The baby filled its nappy
I just stood there and got quite irate

The pilot had been on the pop
On the runway he couldn't stop
He just missed a tree
Stopped off for a pee
Now his career is facing the chop

Our hotel was two star not four
Cockroaches crawled on the floor
We got a terrible fright
In the middle of the night
A tornado blew off our door

Sleeping Beauty

Locked in her tower our heroine sleeps alone
This beautiful flower has been kidnapped from her throne
She stares at the moonlight then drifts off to sleep
To dream of a brave knight scaling the castles keep.
Her flaxen hair frames her delicate ivory skin
Vivid dreams of her hero reveal her beauty within
Steadfast and strong and ready to fight to the death
To rescue this beauty he will forgo his last breath.
Her chivalrous knight enters the abductors domain
Soon she'll taste the sweetness of freedom again.
His shield raised high and broadsword drawn
With every step he takes, for her hope is reborn
Caught off guard with a blow he is swept of his feet
He fights blindly on until his quest is complete
To vanquish the captors is his goal and last wish
Sweep the princess off her feet with a tender kiss
He slashes the ropes that bind her to the bed
Making passionate love for hours now they are happily wed

A Dick With a Glove

Very loosely based on Robert Palmer’s song Addicted To Love – I understand the lyric is often mis-quoted hence the title.

The lights are on, were both at home
Your todger has a mind of its own
Our hearts beat, our bodies quake
Making love is what it takes
We start to moan, we start to grind
Sex is always on your mind
There’s no doubt your in deep
With all this sex we never sleep
Another kiss is all you need
Ooh ohhh

You always wear your rubber glove – oh yeah
Cos we’re not ready to have a baby to love
Guess it’s always safer to stick your dick in a glove

You see the signs when we do the deed
But still you ride me like steed
You're going at it double time
Honey you've got a one-track mind

There's no hope you can't be saved
Sexual oblivion is all you crave
Nymphomania is nothing new
But honey it sure thrives in you

Whoa I'm not immune to your stuff oh yeah
Lets face it baby I can't get enough
I might as well face it I'm addicted to your love.

Behind the Bike Sheds

We were kissing behind the bike sheds
The future Mrs Bronte and I
Get yourselves up to see the head
We heard our teacher cry.
The headmaster said I'd gone too far
Practicing to save my future wife
I really shouldn't have unhooked your bra
Or given you the kiss of life.

We stood in his room in front of head
Our eyes looking down, both our faces bright red
Darren shifted nervously from side to side
Don’t worry Darren one day I’ll be your bride
I begged the head please don’t make us cool our ardour
In our biology practical we’d been told to try much harder
He said 'I was young once I’ll give you one more chance
I can’t stand in the way of a budding new romance'

Our classmates asked but we wouldn't tell
What the headmaster had to say
After school we stopped beside the wishing well
We passed along the way
We kissed each other then kissed our penny
Then watched the penny fall
The kisses we've shared over the years have been so many
We have no regrets at all.

Mermaid Fantasy

Out on the ocean
A lonely fisherman cries
He's unable to find true love
No matter how hard he tries.

So many failures
In his life there have been
To Neptune he's praying
''Please find me a queen''

Suddenly from the blue sea
A voice can be heard
''I'll find your true love''
If you give me your word.

You must tell her often
Just how much she means
To a heart full of romance
and forever dreams.

I give you my promise
He heard the fisherman say
Neptune carried the boat onward
To meet true love half way.

This is the spot
Now you must not forget
To catch your true love
You must cast your net.

After heaving and toiling
The fisherman watched the net rise
Until the sight of his true love
Greeted his eyes.

A beautiful mermaid
Reached out for his hand
Her tail disappearing
As they touched dry land.

His lips met hers
Their hearts were aflutter
So wrapped up in love
No words did they utter

They lived happily ever after
In a villa by the sea
And until the end of forever
Will share this romantic fantasy.

Our First Meeting On the Isle of Man

Such a beautiful morning
So quiet and serene
Contented and yawning
I'm living the dream.
I lie back in my deckchair
Emitting a contented sigh
When landing on my chest from nowhere
Came an exquisite butterfly.

The butterfly landed upon my hairy chest
I looked at it’s exquisite beauty it really was the best
It nestled in quite gently then fluttered in the air
When a beautiful young lady came running past my chair
She really scored a perfect ten - my jaw was open wide
I wanted nothing more than to have this beauty by my side
I stood and showed my great physique and strutted round with pride
I wanted this lady for myself one day she'd be my bride

The butterfly heard my heart beating so strong
It lifted its gossamer wings and the butterfly was gone
As if giving thanks to my exquisite guest
I caress the spot where he came to rest
Whispering my gratitude for him revealing to me
The beautiful face of my bride to be
Now he danced on her breast just above her bra
What jammy gits those butterflies are.

Our hearts beat fast and they entwined
We went to a restaurant and wined and dined
It was a special moment I didn’t want to miss
For there we shared our very first kiss
One thing lead to another and we headed to my room
I grabbed my little blue pill – I wanted va va vroom
This stunning young lady pulled me swiftly to her chest
I could feel her heart beating underneath her thermal vest

Ok Daz I'll put you through your paces
Suspend you from the lampshade by your braces
Set you bouncing then I'll slip under
But was it worth it I'm starting to wonder
All that gossip is just idle chatter
I have to inform you, size does matter
When I agreed to this afternoon of sin
I never thought I'd ask, is it in ?

But Jan sweetheart, please hear my rebuttal
That wasn't my willy, just my belt buckle
Now I'm determined you will feel my passion
Flip you over and we'll do it doggie fashion
A contented smile replaces the scowling
The janitor rings, will you two stop howling?
We are perfect together but I know after tonight
There is just no way you can get married in white.

Oh Darren my darling forgive me I pray
I’m not after marriage, just a roll in the hay
I’m sorry if you were after any more
But after a few days I’ll find you a bore
Come back to bed and let us not linger
You now know I don’t want a ring on my finger
I hate to feel you have been mislead
Lets just have a little more fun in this bed

Just like a man I'm becoming possessive
In pursuit of my goal I'm vain and aggressive
Wishing to own you to declare you are mine
Wanting a wife not a concubine
Not seeing the faults and the change in me
I take your hand and fall on one knee
Presenting the ring I bought from EBAY
We can marry next week Jan, What do you say.

Oh Darren in you I must confide
I can never ever be your bride
Although you think my name is Jan
Before the op my name was Stan
I thought I really must confess
Before our lives become a mess
I think we have reached the journeys end
I will never forget you my handsome young friend

Moonlight Shadow

Moonlight casts its silver shadow over the inky sea
I’m in awe of its beauty; it always captivates me
Suddenly obscured by gossamer clouds drifting past
The shadows changing constantly their beauty never lasts

The chill breeze it intensifies; the clouds are rushing by
Ripples make the shadows dance and catch my teary eye
I love to stand and watch this scene when I get the chance
Being with my loved one and a great time for romance’

Its scintillating silvery glow lifts the veil which shrouds your face
Arm in arm we gently stroll I yield to your tender embrace
A sense of calm and tranquility envelop us as we walk
Its luminosity casts its magical spell we have no need to talk

Two lovers forgetting life's uncompromising complexities
Unlocking wary but loving hearts and exchanging keys
My very soul drinks in the ambiance of loves atmosphere
Into the future we walk together, our true love holds no fear

The years go by and into one our hearts melt
That orchestra of loves music deep inside we felt
Our lives have not always been a sweet melody
We’ve worked and toiled and earned our victory
