The Purge

oh, sweet old vine that calms me down at the safe port in the warm sea
let me drink youth and hopes from the same bottle that the fishes swim
the hot sun burns my skin and dries my throat
but i dream about what the green lawns will bring me
as soon as I get out of this boat

red roses symbolizes the blood in the pacific waters
sharks are fighting swordfishes and shoals are frightened for their sons and daughters
the only thing that reminds the ocean to clean up all the stains and remains
it’s the expectation for the new battles that the great ships wage with the leviathans inside the captain’s veins

tell him that it’s to late now
cause the mermaid seeks passion from another sailor’s vow
poor man longing in the sea
his kids and wife can’t remember the sound of his arriving
with his footsteps filled with sand flea

Sea Lion Woman

Silver women with fragile spines
Lonely during the week, they must be doing something right
The loneliness doesn’t affect them, and they don’t want to scream and shout
Daily feelings of sadness, sometimes are beautiful and sometimes are loud

These women transformed themselves in statues made of seam and dreams
So they can stay in their days willing to give, care and redeem
Time isn’t the problem, but let there be courage to move forward old days of resembling habits
Make them brave, and they would be the Sea Lion Woman of their own credits

Little Poem and a Red Gown

She wears nice clothes and waits for the next thing to happen.
No more hospital beds or quarterly syndromes to cry.
Now that you’re gone - she's divine and she's fine.

Rags and traps are washed from the tears you drop.
And she wears them in a ballroom as a beautiful red gown dress...
Before you tell her to stop.

Waiting for the dark man to dance with her.
Oh, what a beautiful and sorrow pain that flows.
Fresh, new, assimilated.

Lovely ballerina.
White lily.
Timid young man.

They’re in love in the starry night.
Admiring the sky together.
Wondering if this time they’re right.

Bright eyes.
Sweet smile.
And their affection can finally climb and shine.

Politics Pain

The hate of knowing
The sad hopelessness vivid
My country still survives all poverty, famine, violence and injustice
Our babies crying for help
Their mothers seeking for milk
We pray to God to not forget us
But we neglect all good thoughts and ideas
From nothing to say
Much less to aspire
We wait for the bruises and blood
Of a conspiracy, nature and nation convicted with bad signs
Beautiful and healthy people getting richer and aligned
But the real women and men transpire to get their work done and effort assign
Still, we imagine that the government is too filthy for change
Wondering if our parents want their grandchildren to suffer and fight for something that they already claimed
Help!
Stop these new developers from changing the world into a large network pacific spy station
Real kisses are no longer the achievement of the lovers and romantic flames
Oh, if these words mean anything
Ask them to be warriors of the everyday customary pain

Notes From a Lifeboat

The thing about writing is that you have to organize your deck
Putting the marina ghosts locked inside the captain’s head
And when the itchy comes the breakers will stop
So you can finally see lightness in feelings, words and thoughs

They need to be filled, to be told
But, sometimes, you don’t have a story or a punchline to hold
My job it’s to write; it’s to feel the need for visualization
But life wants landscapes, reality and comprehension

I know he’s listening to the jazz music
And seeing the bubbles popping out of his glass of champagne
The pain from his brain doesn’t make him sane and vain
No, not today

I love that boy too much to bring him to my reality, thou
So, that’s just how things roll
No morals or good remedy from happy endings this night
I can tell that we need to emerge through dark profundities from time to time…
But do you think we might?”

Thanks For the Words, Md

It’s six dimensions, seventeen senses
The body of my text posess extra caring for death sentences
Set your alarm, cause’ it’s to late for you to adjust
The streets are too loud for crying, for help or for dazzling lust
It’s to dangerous to speak, to feel, to dream
A five minute doom from a hell’s judge and you’re no longer free
You wanna know how to stay alive?
Well, you better learn how to combine
It’s pure mathematics, not that simple, but sometimes too much easy
After all, this equation it’s already wheezy
I can assure you that no man’s poison you’ll keep you from decipher
Otherwise, pray to not get killed in the web driver viper

Coys

Come on, man, stop looking at the clouds!
Don’t you know that the grey skies almost never scream and shout?
Avoid listen to your heart that only wants trouble and pain
And once again, don’t underestimate the ones that try to clean up after your stains
If the rhyme collects my emotions, simplicity and sense
I’ll tell her that I carry a bag of spoken words transformed into sorrows for my defense
I would rather stop thinking at all instead of stopping my feelings for being afraid to fall
So dont worry, Danny Boy, the death rows, drinks and women are still there
But at this point
Do you think you still care?
