My Fc Barcelona

My Barcelona

My fc Barcelona,
More than a team,
My heart has been seduced,
By your style of play.
The sun of European
football,
You have brought joy and
glory to her.
When you broke the arms
of santos,
The prince of South America
In Japan.

I always love to set my feet
On the blessed land,
Camp Nou.
Where the foundations was
built with success.
Where many mighty men,
Dread to play.
Where mourinho and
madrid, were wounded 5-0.
And Milan sank.

The sky of Camp Nou,
Is painted blue and scarlet,
And there the chants of
blaugrana,
From my white brothers,
Sends sweet smelling
savour
To my ears.

Even the current king of
football, was brewed
In La Masia.
And from Camp Nou he has
ruled the
World of football for four
years.

Many trophies dance in your
Cabinet,
And it's still hungry for
many
Trophies this year,
Which will be quenched.
This season's champions
league and Laliga leading
the way.
Not even Anceloti can stop
us, on our way to Laliga.
And bayern will be beaten,
on our road to champions
league
Final.

My Barça,
I will always love you till the
end of time.

Tribute To Dim Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu

May we not forget
(Odumegwu Ojukwu)

May we not forget the
Great Ikemba
The great pavilion of the
igboland
Who gave us shelter and
refuge when Gowon and
his co-horts broke the Aburi
pact
And came as predators to
attack us.

May we not forget Eze ndi
igbo gburugburu
The junior brother of moses
Who like his senior brother
Left his father's ocean of
wealth
He wandered in the
wildernes
Of the Nigerian Army
Where he prepared himself
for the great task ahead.

May we not forget Ikemba
and his disciples
Just like the good leader he
was
He was in all battle field
with them
Even though the blood
thirsty bullet of the enemies
Created a mighty in them
Yet they marched forward
with their lion heart
Just to secure our freedom
Many women became
widows
Many women became
childless
Many children became
fatherless
Many lost their dear sons
The all paid for our freedom
with their lives
Oh! May we not forget them.

May we not forget ojukwu
For thirteen long dreary
years
He dwelt as a stranger
In Ivory Coast.
May we not forget the
father of the Ibos
May we not forget him
Let's always remember his
pains just to make us free.

Late To School

The stick stung like scorpion
On his flesh
His face squeezes in smile
Of great pain
He scratches voilently
Trying to find some soothes

He is late to school
And he does 100 metres
All the way
All this he does only
To recieves lashes on his
back

The teacher has turned to
Be the punisher
As she stood with a face
That is covered with cloud
Of anger,that scares all
away.

The Drunk

He dances to the
Rythm of wine
His movements unsteady
Pushed to and fro by the
wind
Like a child learning
How to walk
He rises and fall

All eyes is fixed
On him
Suddenly he becomes
An entertainer
All enjoy his
Stupid act.

The path to his home
He cannot find
In the gutter he finds
A new home
The stones he uses as
pillows
He is freed from the
thoughts of life.

The War Ravished City

The great city
The pride of the world
Lies in shame
All her beauty has been torn
The world watches her ruin
Her children has all been
killed
By the blood thirsty bullet
of the enemy

The little remaining remnant
Of her children
Walks round her fallen wall
Hungry and thirsty
All the tree are fallen down
And all her oceans and
streams
Dried up
The well of tears in their
eyes has dried up
And their mouth has left
wailing for their fallen
brothers and sisters

They look pitifully to the
world
Their young ones now
Beg for alms
Even the suckling joins to
beg
Oh! The once beautiful land
Has been made ugly by war.

Bright Star

How i love you,
bright star.
(Smiling broadly
with eternal lips, alone in
the moonless dark cloud)
(Full of splendour, though in
a dark night)

Hanging alone without my
moon in this dark cloud.
And the fair love, become a
dark night.
Bright star, would i were
joyous as you are.

Love Letter

Love Letter.

The love that we once
shared
Has been buried
Buried in the grave of past
From where the ghost
Haunts our memories
Even the trust we built
For each other
Has been demolished
And daily we cast mountains
Of accusations upon each
other
Hurting our hearts
Even the cat
And the rat
Are more friendly than us.

The front page of our
Early beginning
Was written in love
And painted with deep
affections
Deeper than the bottomles
pit
Higher than Everest
Stronger than the love of
Romoe and Juliet
That was when sweet
Promises
Gushes out of your mouth
Like water
Promises that became
My only meditation
That was when the kiss
Of your mouth
Sends my soul straight
To the doors of heaven
That was when i always
Long for the night
When my fingers
Take the task to tour your
body
And wash you with pleasure

The crack on our bond
Came when we allowed
Rains of misunderstanding
To drench our bond
When my female friends
You mistook for my
mistresses
And your male friends
I mistook as my rivals
Not caring to know
Whether you share
The same
Thick red water in your
veins.

We have fought enough
We have wounded our
Hearts enough
Girl letst rebuild our
Fallen fence
And resurrect the dead love
Because deep inside
We know our souls are
Still knitted together
Even though we pretend
Not to care.

Me and You

Some friends come and go
But you have always been
with me
You are light
Your love radiates my soul
It's you that makes me glow
always,
In you i found love

Your love has destroyed the
Umbrella of loneliness
That has always covered me
Because of you i now love
to live
Unto you i will forever
cleave

Seasons come and go
And the rivers sometimes
will overflow their banks
And the world may
sometimes seem to be mad
But yet in all turmoil
Out strong cord of love shall
never be broken.
