Blank Blank Blank

BLANK    BLANK    BLANK

Blank papers

                      Brings no message ;

Blank hands

                       Brings no yield

Blank head

                        Brings no laurel

Blank trees

                         Brings no spring

Blank sky

                         Brings no shower

Blank mouth

                           Brings no scandal

Blank eyes

                              Brings no vision

Blank season

                             Brings no autumn

Blank life

                             Brings no dream

Blank birds

                               Brings no hymn

Blank verses

                              Brings no charm!

You Are the Pilot For Boarding School Students

YOU ARE THE PILOT (for boarding school students)

You need not wear a veil of pain
If you are perfect and prompt
For your prep all time.

You need not begin your day
With ordeal and agony
If you’re uniform is identical
With poignantly tucked in shirts
You need not begin your day
With punishment and pretence
If you speak the language
Of  the  British.

You need not begin your day in
Pity and peril
If chew and swallow the veggies
Served on   your   plate.

You need not begin your day
With protest and pressure
If you complete your homework on time.

You need not begin your day
With piques and problems
If you write your exams fine.

Your struggle today is the
Spring board for your better tomorrow.
Adversity does not tear down you
It make you desire for the
Seed of greatness,
So hitch your wagon to a star.

Rain

Rain

The tiny diamond drop

                               From the sapphire sky

Blushed the majestic

                               Emerald crop

Gandhi the Saviour

Gandhi
the  savior,
the tower  of  tolerance;
awakened us
from authority;
he brightened our
spirit of sacrifice.
he soaked us with
his nectar of love
he had a heart of
special virtue
incapable of colour prejudice.
he declined to be
a  bond slave
and the British pierced
him like an arrow
but his spirit of
compassion never withered;
he is a man of
matchless power
plunged and pledged
to protect our  motherland

True Freedom For India

TRUE FREEDOM

The true freedom we breathe in

from the  bondage

is the labor and tear

of yester years;

the sore and pain

defeat and despotism

of the past

is an ever memorable

gift  by the west;

after the freedom

with trust and faith

 india  the enshirined soil

bequeathed a bequest

to her glorious heirs;

but today

the communal choas

saunter,  in abound and

unobstrusive terrorism

trot all around

and the pangs of poverty

champing overhead

we, the free indians

look for real freedom.

The New Year Life Race

THE NEW YEAR – LIFE RACE

A  NEW RACE BEGAN

AT THE STROKE OF TWELEVE

ALL HEARTS WERE AT   HOPE

THINKING THE FORTUNES AND WOES

THREE SIXTY FIVE METER  CONTEST

PARTICIPANTS UNFATHOMABLE

SOME ARE SWIFT SOME ARE SOFT

SOME ARE PRUDENT SOME ARE WOOLY

SOME ARE EASE SOME ARE RUFFLED

THE FIRST EVENT OF THE YEAR

FEW STARTED GRADUALLY

OTHERS ENTHUSED RAPIDLY

EVERYONE WAS EXPLORING

THE KNOWN AND UNKNOWN WORLD

IT’S A LONG GROUNDING

FOR A SHORT EXPEDITION.

English Is the Best

A young sparrow

    While eating boiled marrow,

Asked her mother

     Mom, can i join a school?

To make the others fool?

    Mom nodded ‘yes’

And warned her not to make a mess;

She took her addjel

And kept inside the satchel;

She rushed to the class

And broke the window glass

Nobody gave her a seat

Her wings started to beat
Finally she found her chair

To sit with her pair

The children  made fun

Her heart palpitated to run

Each period she flapped her wing

To remind the bell to ring

She trembled as if in a winter

When the teacher yelled in thunder

Last period is english

She could really relish

When she returned to her nest

She said that “ english is the best of the rest”

Woman

WOMAN

A woman is not the prisoner of the past
She is the architect of the future

A woman is not a blunder
She is a wonder

A woman does not need a kingdom
She does need only real freedom

A woman is not an object of fascination
She is a pillar of determination

A woman is not a machine of money
She is a spring of inner harmony

A woman is a landscape of possibility and potentiality
She is an epitome of vivacity

A woman is a symbol of tradition
She is an apostle of devotion

A woman is not a damsel in distress
Always she is a fearless tigress.

All I Aware

DEAR READERS,

OUR YOUNG HEART RELUCTANT TO ACCEPT AGEING. BUT LET US REMEMBER OLD AGE IS A NOTHER CHILDHOOD. SO, LET US RESPECT OLD PEOPLE

ALL I AWARE

I  STEPPED  INTO THE SHRIVEL  AGE;

MY COAL BLACK HAIR TURNS

HER HUE INTO GREY;

EACH TEETH

LIKE A SNOW FLAKE

POISED TO FALL OUT FROM

THE WOMB;

THE SKIN GROW FAINTER

AND THE BLACK  DAPPLED

EYES INTERRED  AMID

THE HOLLOW FRAMES;

ALL I AWARE

I STEPPED INTO THE WITHERING AGE

THE THIN SMOOTH FINGERS

SHIVERS WHEN I FEEL THE FRAGRANT PETALS;

ALL I AWARE

MY LITTLE FEET

MOVES IN MELANCHOLY

MY TASTY TONGUE

TURNS  DEAD.

OH I AM IN MY RIPE AGE
