Gone

Her tears soak her pillow at night

She is clinging on with all her might

Never wanting to let go

But knowing that it must be so.

To him she pledged her heart

Sadly he wanted to part

Now she wishes to make him stay

Its all she thinks of everyday.

so under the pale moonlight

She spends another sleepless night

Wishing for him to stay

To spend the night in his arms always.

One Day

You never loved me that much is true,

Now Im questioning did I ever know you,

You promised me the world then took it away,

Leaving me fight through every single day.

You left me with a stranger here

You took away the matthew I held so dear.

What Im left with I dont recognise

You suddenly changed right befpre my eyes.

you dont understand what you have done

How affected I am by you being gone.

Ive never been in love like this before

But then you went and slammed the door

I am lost, lonely and in fear

Its how I feel when you arent near.

You told me stop trying so I did for you

But its not what I wanted, that much you knew

You think it doesnt hurt me to see you flirt

To see you treat me nothing more than dirt.

I was the girl who was your world

Now Im less than every other girl

Im nothing, irrelevant, its how I feel

You cant blame me, its how you've made it seem.

I guess you helped me live a lie

Now I know all I can do is cry.

S here I stand rooted to the spot

Where 9 months ago you threw in the lot

I lost my Matthew that day

And I cant get him back not any way

I wish you could look me in the eye

So you can see what you have done, how youve made me cry

You wont even listen, wont even try

You just kept on walking when you said goodbye.

You will wish you hadnt walked away

You will feel gutted when you think of that day

One day you will see how good you were with me

One day I promise you, you'll see
