The Lost Boy

I'm known as the boy
that is my name
my life is now about
playing mothers horrid "games"

My name is lost
somewhere in the air
what it is
mother doesn't care

I wash the dishes
as mother drinks her booze
me now with the chemicals
mothers taking her snooze

How did it get to this?
We were the perfect family
I'm not sure why
but mother dreadfully hates me

She says she'd kill me
and she doesn't even care
she just drinks her booze
while I'm standing right there

"You've been a bad boy"
mother would say
so this results in
more games for me to play

Why does she hat me?
Will I ever really know?
All I wanted was
mothers love from long ago

My name is lost
somewhere in the air
this doesn't seem right
it doesn't seem fair

Too Lost

right now I can't manage
I can't handle it either
I'm living in hate
it's giving me a fever

Is this even healthy?
Do I really even care?
I throw myself around
and tear out my hair

I'm so lost
and can't be found
this has got me spinnin'
round and round

I'm lost in my own world
I can't seem to find myself
every time I look around
I'm just sitting on the bottom shelf

I'm a nobody
wandering around
searching for something
wanting to be found

but that's the real question
Do I really want to be found?
I'm not too sure
I'm too dizzy from spinning around

I'm lost in my own home
and nobody understands
I just lie down
on my knees and hands

I'm just lost
and maybe I'll be found
I first need to learn
how to stop spinning around

Is that the first thing?
I am too angry to say
maybe I'll try
some new strategies to play
