The Tree of Creed

The tree of creed, but only a seed, grows so green for lack of what’s seen.
The tree of creed, held straight with a tether, does need the support
for it is as strong as a feather.
The tree of creed, alone forms to leather, to endure the wind and rain,
for how many can predict the weather?
The tree of creed, from this cold, will drop the leaves of splendour;
scattered like marbles, they succumb to the wind, the sender.
The tree of creed, grows crooked, for lack there of the light;
who would have thought this world would be cause of such a blight.
The tree of creed, so dark and tweed, seems to stand alone;
for nothing else can survive in this place it calls home.
The tree of creed, all alone indeed, in this patch of dirt;
if only one could see how much this tree does hurt.

Serendipitous Blues

An open eye is why I see, and I think about the trues;
but this open eye, close I try …
Serendipitous Blues.
My thoughts do race to make a case and find all the clues;
but I did the chase and found the face …
Serendipitous Blues.
This image burned from what I learned, and I can’t stop the muse;
but now it’s yearned for what once was, returned …
Serendipitous Blues.
For who would dictate this path so straight, so I cannot choose;
and make me irate with this fate …
Serendipitous Blues.
In a world of vanity to become this sanity is nothing but a ruse;
and yet this clarity has no parity …
Serendipitous Blues.
Serendipitous Blues …

Inside

This life I see inside of me feels of a dream just out of reach;
A dream I can almost remember but then it's washed away with bleach.
I see myself through my eyes in a mirror starring back;
This reflection of myself often tends to form a crack.
Time holds me below the surface, I can see the light breach through;
Inches from a new breath but reach is all I do.
Like an ass I chase this carrot in hopes it'll taste good;
But who knows when I'll get it, trudge along I guess I should...
We chase we walk we run we follow, this dream, this image of tomorrow;
This light, this carrot in hopes we swallow, to save us from the disease of sorrow.
In bed I lay at the break of day tired from the fight;
The fight of worried, wary, words as I talk to myself through the night.
Red in eye sick at heart, unable to thwart this tort to start;
But just a trick of a mind thought smart, for tomorrow these feelings so tart will part.

Lyseachearolt

Lyseachearolt be their name,
twins of the same flesh and
game.

one with legs, one with heart;
be they forced together and
death do them part.

Fixed emotion, stagnant
freewill; machine by nature,
harder to kill.

Worrisome, weary; staggering,
stout; together, one move, one
step, one pout.

Harder to feel, than feel the
floor; with no love, one silent
roar.

Why be here if here is not
there? Happiness won’t come if
there is no share.

Away with this heart, for what
is the gain? Not worth surviving
for only more pain.

Anguish no more with one last
beat, as they both fall to their
feet.

Lyseachearolt be their name,
twins of the same flesh and
game.

But how can you play when you
cannot speak; cannot hear and
cannot seek?

And how could heart feel
without control, while legs
walked with no soul.

Lyseachearolt, without heart,
will never be what one calls art.

This Valentine

These thoughts raise a
question,
What should I do;
It’s because of these thoughts,
these thoughts of you.

You sense my intention,
like a kind of weather;
you feel the pull,
the want to be together.

My body cries to you,
like a wolf cries to the moon;
I hunger for your lust,
and this craving will be fed
soon.

Just close your eyes,
let the flush take you away;
a passionate heat,
so warm you will stay.

Tonight we will forget,
about the dejection of
yesterday;
tonight we will forget,
about the anxieties headed our
way;
tonight we will stay in our
focus,
 so sublime;
tonight we will get lost...
 in this Valentine.

Like a feather,
 falling to the ground;
my world is slow motion,
making not a sound.

With a touch you surrender,
a force takes hold;
if only this moment,
would last like gold.

All my emotion,
released with this kiss;
It will be this moment,
that I will surely miss.

Your heart is beating,
and love is the tune it will play;
who thought two roses,
could make a bouquet.

Tonight we will forget,
 about the dejection of
yesterday;
tonight we will forget,
 about the anxieties headed our
way;
tonight we will stay in our
focus,
so sublime;
tonight we will get lost...
 in this Valentine.

 In this Valentine.

Home

It is safe here; safe because it’s mine;
I don’t control it, but I understand it; I’ve lived here for a long time.
It’s not freedom, for freedom doesn’t exist;
we are no more free than the laws within which we subsist.
This place… you cannot feel, touch, or see, but believe me when I tell you,
it’s more real than you or me.
With out this place, nothing is, nor nothing need to be;
it’s all just a precious invention, of causality.
Truly a thing of beauty, for it is the only thing to end;
everything else recycles time and time again.
An escape from this endless insanity I see with open eyes,
for as soon as I close them, the insanity dies.
Remember it is safe here, it’s safe because it’s mine;
a place where I can go, where everything is sublime.

Stronger

I woke up from my dream just in time to see my world fall apart.
The love of my life has died to me; now I’m alone at heart.
I have the strength to stand; to keep me trudging forward.
But stronger only means the longer you are tortured.

Stranger To Friend Back To Stranger Again

A strangers glance caught by your eye;
filled with wondrous joy, for your heart cannot lie.
Desire in mind, desire in heart; the potential within inspires the start.
So perfect the world, so seems it too be;
these friends are so blind, for love's all they see.
From two to just one, a whole they will be; sign from the tongue, for truly is key.
Erosion like the rain, subtle but sure; stressing the metal to form a burr.
Mentally beating, all the blood with no gore; one became two, with an even score.
Hard to believe, but believe it to be;
when friends become strangers, so clouded are thee.
Awkward the walk, sleepless alone; strange how the guilt wafts like cologne.

Eternity

To whom do I owe the honour, for which my fire hath come.
Mine own heart climbs the summit, in yearn for the sun.
A dream for eternity, though over and oft it plays;
A portrait of such beauty, to which I count the rays.

Two Ropes

Full of passion; it's here I
stand,
with two ropes taut in each
hand;
neither yet worth to let go;
how long must I grip until I
know?

Mighty Atlas, I wish I could be,
for the earth it feels weighs
down on me;
the pain is torture and it's only
the start;
for now I can't let go but it
might tear me apart.
