In Ghetto From Heaven

The arrival of a boy child
Parental congratulatories;
to the baby; wasn't mild.

Ghetto, from Heaven, is the destination
Slaughter of poverty was the contemplation
Growing in the hood;
Eternal bliss of devilish mood
Growing in the ghetto;
Misery our motto

Every turn of sight;
Young ghouls hustling tight
Peeping through tunnel-hope
My foresight altered by dope

Future presidents, doctors, engineers,
Rolling crack
Ol' Gees, definitions of lack

In inward glimpse of my soul
Is the 3D of me with bound sole
Is this life? I wonder
No! Strife! No wonder
Can't be a dealer
Chased by a leader

Beneath my table, lie success
Disguised in a voluminous book
A gift from grandpa
He said "don't want you to be a crook"

Oh! Heavenly!
I'll thank you severally
The way out of poverty
Is my study for dignity...
