i thought i was starting to forget but,
when i woke up this morning
you were the first thing on my mind and,
i realized that

i cant forget
no matter how hard i try
when i score myself
on how stupid ive been
its a perfect ten
i almost forgot that
i cant forget
i had so much to do and
thinking about you
wasnt even on the list
somewhere between the cleaners and the grocery store
i thought of you once more

i cant get you off my mind
i try not to cry
sometimes i do, thinking about you
being gone, so long

If you get thrown off a horse
you get back on and ride again
if you fall off your bike
you get back on and try again
chorus:
if you start falling out of love
you better spice it up
do what you gotta do
to get back into the groove
dont let youself lose
youve got to pick yourself up and love again
dont let her walk away
shes the best thing that ever happened to you
even if you have to beg her to stay
buy her something nice or
a romantic dinner with candle light

dedicate her a sweet, sweet song
tell her that you were the one
who was wrong
