Habzy Nub Poem
In this dark garden of peace
In front of me you lay
in this cubic box of stone
and on it it had your name
i prayed to god
that you would go to heaven
and i walked out...
of this garden of peace

Habzy Nub Poem
Do you know what it's like?
To hold your best friend tight
Hold her close to your arms
With a kiss that's just so light
Do you know how it feels?
To hold her soft cozy hands
And walk together Down the street
While the lights turn on at night
Do you know what a friend is?
She's more than just laughter
She's pain and love and happiness
And she creates for you disaster
But what is life without those things?
It's boredom and depression
For disaster is excitement
And from it we learn lessons
So yes a friend is a person
But the magical things she can do
It makes you think, I'm a friend
So can I do that too!

Habzy Nub Poem
In a cave of darkness
I see a shining light
As it glares down on me
In this windy wild Night
As the light gets closer to me
My hope is flying in
I close my eyes for a second
And dream of friendship
I open my eyes only to know
That my dear friend Is next me
I turn to her and say
" the brightest of lights you can be"

Habzy Nub Poem
Everyday, the same old thing,
Whinging for this and that,
Never being thankful,
For the loved ones we have.
We want everything,
Everything everyone has,
But we're never being thankful,
For the loved ones we have
One day someone is lost,
A mother, father or friend,
And we're only ever thankful,
Once they come to an end.

Habzy Nub Poem
Together we sat under the rain
As it poured and soaked our hair
We laughed a lot until we cried
And cried until we laughed again
Memories long forgotten
Have arrived yet one more time
Destroying sadness in our hearts
That was built by lonely crime
But deep inside we both knew
That one of us had to go
For fate had been awaiting
And that we both know
But what would be me
And what would be her
If one of us wasn't there
So we decided...
Fate would drag us both to it!

Habzy Nub Poem
My little red poppy
I watch you as you gloom
And bring out colour
For those who died at war
You represent their strength
You were their only hope
You showed life would not go on
If they gave up when they would fall
You may be a red flower
But you're full of meaning
Behind you there's a story
That till now is still important

Habzy Nub Poem
I see the future of this battlefield,
Growing dark roses and flowers and weeds,
I see it as it drinks the blood of the dead,
The soldiers laying on its grounds not in their beds.
I see the lost hopes and dreams and souls,
Being carried along by lifeless ghosts,
I see them moan and hurt and grieve
Not wanting to have left wanting to leave.
I see the darkness around me evolve,
Not of the night but the loss of love,
I see it suck the heart of those who live,
Till their souls die and their bodies live.
I see it all and I’m glad to know,
That I died of a bullet that killed my body not my soul,
And even inside this lifeless ghost,
Lies a living heart and a loving soul.
