All About Crystal

She painted colors of the sea within his eyes
A personal aurora borealis,
With wings she floated in the dream
A dream she fell in love with.

Her colors splashed across the page
Emotions she would reveal,
Starting bright and warm
In contrast to how she'd feel.

Her brush tips moist with red
Lines of orange, yellow, green,
A field of sunshine in her midst
So gentle, calm, serene.

Little did she know the painting wasn't right
Her tears mashed the colors into blue,
Streaks of purple-black fell off the canvas
That held the memory of you.

Anguish washed her art anew
Dripping colors now and then,
Refusing any memories
To someday paint again.

The Sol's Efflorescence

There lays a dream amidst the green green grass
The sweetest dream unfurled,
T'was then that love would bloom with growth
Inside that dreamlike world.

The prickly grass that touched my stem
The sun which warms my soul,
Took everything I offered it
My heart it came and stole.

Whenever sunshine shined on me
I was happy and so free,
My petals danced and pollen flew
Beneath the redwood tree.

When it was sad it rained all day
My roots felt all its tears,
A flood; A puddle; drenched me deep
My petals torn, severe.

My leaves were drooped; my stem so weak
But sunshine came to aide,
It shined on me to pick me up
Said I must not be afraid.

Now when the skies are gray with glum
I bask in all its hurt,
I stretch my roots down in the ground
Planting myself in dirt.

Oh sunshine please don't go away
Illuminate my growth,
Beneath this redwood tree Ill stay with you
To you I make this oath...

Eye-Sore

There is a bird that's flying
Through clouds and salty breeze,
The wings are spread and gliding
Wind splashed so cool with ease.

Away from home it's flying
High off the ground through skies,
No worries or home attachments
No need to say goodbyes.

Carefree from any problems
Flying from all that's known,
Soaring through all that carries it
Through all that its been shown.

A sudden shot is fired
Shock and trauma felt,
The insides burning wildly
Bullet with blood; it melts.

The sky is darkened slowly
Vision is blurred to dark,
Only a second passes
Before it hits the park.

The bones crunch into nothing
The wings are shattered split,
The neck is twisted sideways
Where it was suddenly hit.

The birds last breath is quieted
The eyes blink one last time,
The beauty soaring in the sky
No longer free to chime.

Monsoon

A summer night fills the air and with the taste of rain.
Those endless memories that rush back.... all over again.

The rain sang songs.
Dripping misery til' all was wet.

The liner dripped.
Mascara smeared.
The lipstick bled my face so fierce.
Rain met my clothes.
A sadden splash.
A fearful pain which squeezed my nerves.... . .
