Earth, a Tale For the Aliens

The way earth was born
a loud big bang .
The wind blew
and the leaves sang.
And thus the growth of life started
a cycle very much repeated.

And then they arrived
creatures with two legs and pride .
Humans as they came to be called
destroyed everything even the forest
that blocked their stride
to enjoye their life to the fullest.

They remade matter
in an open cloud vomiting structure.
These nasty clouds used to scatter
here , there and everywhere
killing the fine green threads of the soil
and their breathing material –the air.

And later
earth lost patience and grew red with rage
the most disastrous stage .
Violent volcanoes earth quakes and what not.
They had to face the wrath
the consequence of their chosen path.

Then skitter asked his alien mother
so did it fall in a pit
or join the dead in the pyre
the mass of soil and water
earth as how they called it.

She replied with wonder-
son,everything born has to end
it is the debt they have pay to the creator.

A Grandfather I Never Saw

Five days before I was born,
my dear grandfather was gone.
Not knowing the cause
why he went .
There was a pause
through which i was sent

oh father! oh father !
cried my mother .
Was it to take him
Oh god!
you sent me without a word
i thought

By came an old woman
whose hands were weak and swollen.
She said with a smile-
When one light goes mild ,
another light will shine.

then i knew -
Even though i never saw him,
he lives deep in my heart
where his soul never dies.

A Cry

They say never ever cry
But if they can laugh out loud
Why can't I give out a sigh
Why do they tell me not to cry?

Is it not an action out of my feelings?
Well it gives me satisfaction
After a strange day of actions
That hit me down with a blow of sorrow
It gives me a deep strength to borrow
Why do they tell me not to cry ?

Crying for a reason teaches me
It teaches me many things
It brings a smile on my face that creates a link
A link to learn the importance of happiness
So why do they tell me not to cry?
