I Wanna Grow Old With You

I wanna grow old with you

I wanna see ourselves together

Still holding hands tightly

Even in the midst of parting.

I wanna grow old with you

I wanna feel the warmth of your smile

Still burning brightly

Even we know its dimming.

I wanna grow old with you

I wanna cling on your arms

Still feeling secured

Because I know you're still the one.

That I will be with till the dawn

Till everything may come to an end

Still I wanna be with you

The one I know for so long.

I wanna grow old with you

I wanna share the joys of my life

The sorrows we spent together

The graces you and I have.

I wanna grow old with you

Till you're there for me

Till we share the same dreams

I'll be with you.

Saddened

Saddened

brownish, leafless trees
the earth upturning with mud
a lifeless creation...

My Second Home

My Second Home

It's been forty eight years that
I've lived in my second home
a home where there were trials
Tears, happiness and triumphs.

A home I can't say is really mine
But i'm free to move and
Express what my thoughts are
What feelings I wanted to reveal.

I can do what I dared do
Nobody tried to stop me
Even the owner of my second home
Gave me the freedom and the will.

Years passed I can sensed that
Something was not the same as before
Day by day my second home
Was becoming uncomfortable.

I can no longer drink refreshing water
I'm becoming sick of the food I ate
I started to feel the aches, the pains
I've never felt before.

Slowly my second home is weakening
She started to feel helpless
She can no longer withstand what I've been doing to her
She was in an excruciating pain.

She turned her back to me
There was revenged in her whole being
Right now I don't know how to control her
She'd been giving me too much of what I don't need.

I'm losing her....my second home
How can I face its real owner
When the time comes He'd ask me
What I've done with His masterpiece....

My second home.

As I See You

As I See You

Loneliness engulfed my being
Every time I remember the days
I was holding you in my arms
Caressing your fragile body.

Making you feel that I'm there
Never to leave you, all alone
We're inseparable during those moments
I made it a point that I'm there every time you needed me.

But there are times we have separated
We have to give spaces for us to think
Not because I'm up with you
It's for us to think of other tricks for us to savor.

Dull moments we never had
For you made me see the real you and
Experienced what it takes to be with you
Especially during those times I only had but you.

Now you maybe gone for sure
I may never see you...your smile
I may not hear...your laughter
I may not feel your warmth.

Nevertheless, you're here with me
Your words of wisdom that I have now
Your acts of generosity that I am practicing now
Your kind words that I'm using now.

Every time I wanted to talk to someone
I talked to you...in my thoughts
I asked for your guidance
I didn't know why.

Why I have to utter your name
 When I'm in deep despair
Why I have to call you desperately
When I can no longer turn to somebody.

You make me stronger
You make me move on
You make me leap a hundredfold
Then you make my day.

Someday, I know I'll see you
No longer in my thoughts
No longer in my reverie
No longer in my dreams.

We'll meet again and I'm waiting for that day
You'll know how much I treasured your memories
I'll tell you how much you nurtured me
How much I become so real because of you.

As I see you then
And how I'll see you soon
That will be grandest day I'm preparing
For I'll be with you.

The Savior Was He

The Savior Was He

It's raining so hard

The sound of the rain stabbing the roof sharply

As if trying to bore a hole

Wanting to penetrate

Wanting to be felt.

The wind adding the torture

On the students eagerness to learn

While the teacher trying to beat

The rage of nature

Through a voice which can never be heared.

Stop the beating of the rain

Nor groan of the wind

Suddenly darkness came

Rapidly like lighting

Making the humans within the room.

Shouted "Brownout!!!"

What the hell was going on!

Looking around, they saw

A figure just by the door

A silhouette as if.

Telling them to run for their lives

Everybody scampered to hide,

Yelling...crying...seeking for help

There was silence

A voice was heard

"I am the school maintenance crew'

I'm here to help you".

"Follow me...I have only one light for us."

Slowly they stood up and walked lightly

The savior was he.
