When the sun sets and says its sweet goodbye,
It leaves an immense kiss mark on the sky,
A promise that it’ll return tomorrow,
To take away all our fears and sorrow.
Its kiss mark is dappled with lavender,
Birds hover above to feel its wonder,
The silhouettes of mountains and the trees,
An art of prosperity, joy and peace.
Its kiss mark is in hue of pink and red,
A fiery love of God sent with roses,
Feel its tranquility and its warmness,
Panacea on worries that come ahead.
Crimson sky is the kiss mark of the sun,
A dazzling beauty since the world begun.

I am a super duper Gerber Baby
all I love to do is wee- wee
winning all the attention of my mommy
so that all day long, she’ll stay beside me
I love to loudly fart and burp
after taking my Gerber Baby Foods prepared by dad
all my tiny fingers in my mouth as I give them a crunchy baby’s laugh
they both run to give me their sweetest kisses and hugs
Oh, how I love to wear my soft baby’s diaper
I walk around my crib producing sounds, “ mmma pppa brrrr brrrrrr”
please bathe me in my lovely little bath tub or wash
the smudges of my “ poop” now I feel them on my ass
How I love to be an adorable baby
no problem yet nor worry
all I have to do is drink milk and sleep the whole night or day
cuddled in the loving arms of my mommy and daddy
In my cozy crib are colorful toys
feeling like sitting over the rainbow with so much joy
my picture books are scattered all around
I pretend to read them smartly as I look at the picture of a clown

Your kiss from heaven is palpable,
When you close your eyes on days and nights ardent prayers;
God’s angels will light your life’s candle,
To guide and protect you each time from all dangers.
Your kiss from heaven ignites the love in your heart,
Also makes you feel the love which everyone imparts,
Giving courage, strength and hope when adversities come,
Having optimism- where you can smile when you’re lonesome.
Your kiss from heaven is given to you each day;
Which sometimes you miss to feel when you’re at work and play,
Can be felt from the rustling leaves and other sounds of nature;
From the rays of the sun and cool of air – so fresh and pure.
Your Kiss from Heaven is the love and power of God;
Through His Holy Spirit sent down to you from above,
It’s a precious gift to all men whom He dearly love,
Gracing us all, even those who turned away from Him and felt so bad.

Love is the sweetest thing of all,
If you disagree with me, just spin up your ball,
It’s when the stars twinkle brightly in your eyes,
As you taste your beau’s kisses under a romantic moonlight.
Love is the hardest thing to understand,
The more you give it away, joy and pain come back as your rewards,
But when hurt strikes back more, will you ever whine?
Love endures all things-it’s the true essence that eases one’s mind.
Love is conceived and rooted since before the beginning of our time,
When this world was created, that love was the Greatest and Most Divine;
The most priceless gift endowed in each and every creation’s heart,
It conquers all things… leading to God, our ultimate goal in life.
Love is an unconditional care and compassion towards mankind,
It resembles to a maxim that goes, “ love is blind”;
No matter how horrid a color you and others will see,
Keep on loving in your heart eternally.

A Birthday Poem For My Very Special Friend
(This is also composed for my dear friend, PD)
Your birthday is indeed a great time of gaiety,
It calls for a celebration, a Grand Poetic Party
But, what I have just said is only a secondary
Most importantly, your life is great and healthy.
I am writing this poem first and foremost,
To send my love and best wishes to the most
For all the dreams of yours, let’s make a toast
May they all be fulfilled without any cost.
Since, I don’t have here your complete address,
I cannot send you chocolates, cakes or roses
So, I’ll just send my fervent prayer for success
To God, He may protect you, guide you and bless.
I will also enclose in these lines of my poem,
My songs of bliss for you and your family at home,
May you be free from all worries and gloom
Age added but, you’re a gal who incessantly bloom.
My dearest friend Linda, have a very happy birthday,
If you are only here, I’ll dance with you today,
Like a lady on her debut on the 18th Natal Day
You’re our Grand Celebrity in ‘tis Land of Poetry.

the pearls from your eyes
are far more precious to me
than any treasure
your big sacrifice
nothing more to compare with
you’re my great hero
I owe you my life
mom, my heart melts when you cry
your tears: pearls of love
that’s the greatness of your love
in you, I feel God
mom, I’m so sorry
sometimes, I make you lonely
but you’re dear to me
you bear all the pains
pearls of great love on your cheeks
every drop, I’ll kiss
for I do believe
you want only the best for me
all your pray’rs and wish
thank you so much mom
those pearls of great mother’s love
be kept in my heart
you’re my only mom
replaceable by no one
comfort and best friend
my ardent prayers
may you live long in this world
may God gives you strength

This poem was conceived both from the “Pearl” theme and one of my possible adorable picture themes of my latest contest, “Mother’s Love”- merged into one.
It is also composed with the inspiration of all mothers in this world. You’re indeed the greatest heroes/heroines! I am so proud of you! I lovingly dedicate this poem to you dear mothers and friends! Big hugs to all of you! Of course, I include especially my loving/dearest mom who’s my greatest inspiration, refuge and best friend.
This poem can also bring to us a message for this Easter Season as we remember Mother Mary who’d suffered much seeing her loving son Jesus Christ’s great sufferings on the cross at Mt. Calvary- a mother’s great love to her child indeed!
HAPPY EASTER SEASON TO ALL!

Diamond Mountain Cave
(Phu Pha Phet Cave)
The largest cave here in Thailand
Has an eighteen acres in total size
It is not that easy for us to find
But if we’ll get in there, it’s a big surprise!
We need to explore first the side of the mountain
Be patient and careful to climb its lofty and rugged stair
A shade half our way offers rest and we’ll not feel in vain
Quite tedious, but an exquisite view awaits us up there
The Diamond Mountain Cave has seven floors
Most of the time, only two floors are offered for all
Twenty rooms are more than enough for two to three hours tour
After stooping down to get in through the very small entrance of the hall
Public exploration is facilitated by its long wooden walkways
As we tour in every chamber ,we’ll be impressed
With our lens, we can’t resist to capture in every way
The formations of stalagmites and stalactites that amaze
To name the most captivating formation inside the cave
Is the stalagmite in a very huge dinosaur-like egg in shape
Standing prominently at the main hall, it’s my fave
Coated with glittering diamond bits, I wish I can touch or scrape
A form which isn’t funny but also with its wondrous beauty
Is a man’s sword-like stone, no malice to catch our attention
There are a lot more making us feel like dreamy
Such as the amazing mushrooms and big jade stone
It’s so fun to walk around on walkways going up and down,
As we feel the cold wind coming in somewhere
Ventilating and protecting us from sweat so as not to frown
Then we’ll come out with big smiles and great experience to share.

*man’s sword : the term I use for man’s sexual organ
This is not for a contest . The composition of this poem was inspired by my experience last March 20, 2013. This cave is at Satun Province, approximately 15 hrs. drive (by bus) from Bangkok. Currently, it’s considered as the 3rd Largest Cave in the World. In fact, I've visited many caves here & in my country but for now, this is still the best for me. I invite you to google it to see some photos. Search Phu Pha Phet Cave in Satun Thailand (not Saturn ;)). Thank you so much. I hope you enjoyed my poem.
Once I had a bicycle,
A loving present from my grandfather;
Since I was his favorite granddaughter,
He granted my wish at a snap of my finger .
Since he was so old,
A new bicycle he could hardly afford;
He took his bike when he was young,
Which I found it once at the back of our barn.
As far as I remember,
It was really so old and rugged;
But my grandpa was like Mr. Mac-Gyber,
Amazingly fixing all things all-over.
My granda was a well-known painter,
I thought he will repaint and use sandpapers;
When I surreptitiously sneaked into his hut,
He was there recycling all my milk cans.
When everything was done,
He gladly gave it to me with a big hug;
I hurriedly drove it at once,
Down the street and field with so much fun.
“My bike was real a unique one!” I thought.
So different from others in our neighborhood,
Its wailing siren was made up of a cow’s horn,
Tubes were made of dried bamboos and corn.
Other parts were still the same,
Like forks, hubs and chainwheel set,
The rest were made up of my milk cans,
They were pedal, brake and seatgear stem.
Handle bars were what I like most,
Converted from the handle of his old plow;
So sturdy and so strong all I knew,
And I can drive it so long in full control.
However, when I travelled quite afar,
Parts were falling one at a time;
Until everything suddenly split apart,
Eventually it dropped and rolled me down.
