A Ray of Hope

Blinded by the lights;
But in a rainbow of the night,
A lone star
Shines just as bright.

With the rise of the muffled cries
 Of joyous pride,
A priceless moment captured in time.
As I stand within a crowd,
A memory is to last a lifetime.

With inpatient feet,
As the heart starts to beat,
No thought was conceived
To what could be.

But here we stand,
Listening to the music from the band.
The ground starts to rumble,
For there was no fumble.

While at the end,
And all smiles aglow,
I look toward you,
 That gleaming star,
For that shimmering Hope you Bestowed on us,
And say, Thank you.

Our Love Is Nature

Let me run with the wind,
And fly high with the grass.
Only to have you by my side.
I'll be floating forever on treetops if you must ask.

The never ending rainbow in the bright, bright sky;
Shines on end,
In the forever growing soul of the butterfly.
The rain will always perish the wet grasslands.

The adventures the wild horses take,
And the strength of a little birds' heart.
Ripples through the water like that of the fish make.
Stretches far past the wind as the dogs bark.

If trees could grow for an eternaty,
My one and only best friend; our love for each other would be extraordinary.

Purple Flower

A single flower from that your from
With love and care we watched you grow.
From six inches to twelve feet tall,
You were starting to show.
It's that permisquous YOU that fills the room.

It's the start of a new season
And almost time for you to fly.
To grow tall and to show your shine.

Reaching for the stars has not been an easy climb.
But with looks like yours
And a role model you are.
Anything is possible, when you try.

 Your easy flowing mood,
Moves with the slightest (of) breeze.
And when times get hard
Your a strong tree.

So don't forget who you are:
A bright and beautiful,
Brave and broad, and
A strong and sensuos young lady,
You have become.

This poem goes to my sister, she is graduating this year.

Along the Boats Shore

Along the boats shore, he sees the little turtle eggs; all wrapped up in the dry summer sand. As the waves crash upon the land, the time has come thats been a waiting season has begun. To brake their shell and start their life long journey, on their own.

I'M Alright

Feeling Blue, feeling sad.
Trying not to cry,
So they don't ask why.
But no matter what,
a little still comes out.

Feeling blue, feeling sad,
I'm balling now,
and just don't know why.
I guess its because
I kept it all bottled up,
so very long, I just finally broke down.

Wondering what might have happened,
If I weren't here.
Keeps me asking more.
But when I'm finally done.
I know that everything is fine,
and I can be stronger than I once was.

The Independent Ones

They stand in pack of a thousand. Defenseless and speechless. Yet their silent ords are of great power as they tell the story, of their life.
If you listen closely, you;ll hear the secrets, that which they hold. They are not bound by rules or restrictions; but simply by, the way of life.

A Face Forgotten

My father is not in sight once again.
That's not a surprise once fall begins. The air begins to cool, and the sports begin their rituals.
But in the stands I see not the father that which is mine; for he is elsewhere, in his own state of mind.
The ground starts to freeze, and it's time for the snow and lights; where I once again do not see a face.
A face I've almost forgotten is no where in sight.
The birds begin to chrip, and the sun shines so bright.
I don't waste my time looking, searching for that familiar face I've long forgotten.
When at last he's there, I care the least.

Just An Ordinary Girl

I may be just an ordinary girl, but I have an extraordinary dream. A dream that comes from deep within a heart, that an ordinary girl would want. To be part of something bigger, bigger than all of us. And though we already are, the time will come when there's a great big fuss. The air will rise, the smoke will die, and nothing has changed but still the change will come from deep within a heart. A heart that will conquer all, that's been true all-along.

Birthday Candles

To you, and only you.
A birthday wish may come true.
So don't waist it on a pair of jeans,
Because you only get one of these.

Wish, wish upon that flamming star.
Now don't forget to think it through.
So you don't get stuck with a sticky shoe.

                                       O' find that perfect wish,
                                            But all so soon.
                                        Your time is running out,
Their almost done with that funky tune.

Hope you made a wicked wish,
For now you'll have to wait until next year,
But at least you don't have to have that freaky fear.

The Devil Inside

The words of one unhearted man
Arise from this depths of this here ground.
For which they have just emerged, from this unfound cache
to stir the world with just one laugh.

                                                 To show all fiery
                                              and to feel all misery,
He laughs at us with such a grimace
as you wince at each, break of dust.

                                              A nuisance is he,
and a fool thinks not he.
For the man has evil deep into his core.
Cares not one, but for himself, he takes all with forgery.

Until the day may come, that the King of all Malevolent man
Will he finally find to himself forever a slave, and his eternal home.
