One Percent

Look into the eyes of the suffering
For a moment open your soul to
The riches of you covetous love
Keep you blind from the future
And the loss of your vitality

Be wary of the truths
Unknown to those who create the illusion of comfort
For no man can understand fulfill love
At the sacrifice of another being

Time of Love and Late

Those days are dead and gone.
Arising to new ways and different strays.
Now is not forever.
For what is ever? Next to time.

Mistakes are made and loves are chosen.
Deep within flesh our souls are broken.
Can you hear a whisper, a moan, a cry;
When you see into anothers eyes?

What beyond faith keeps us alive?
As darkness sets in light sheds a tear.
Praying for everlasting life again.
Begging to be held in loves whim.

Can love be the true savior?
Always averting and changing, never stopping for time.
Behold love can strip away any and all evils.
All it asks is for your love back.

When amiss the nakedness of that lonely feeling,
Brings rains of cold sadness.
The fear of alone in that circle of love.
Someday one day the ring will be complete.
So long as those don't forget,
As time will fight to bury it away.

Tick tock why does time make a mockery?
A pit of want and of hate,
Rest so enticingly at its breast.
The arms of love loosen and unwind,
Leaving with a last song of beauty.
Easing the fall into the darkness.

A prison that keeps the hungry starved,
And the thirsty thirst.
For one last drop.
Each moment passing by slower into oblivion.
Manipulating the sound of loneliness.
So they echo in the anger,
Of all those days that were passed and wasted.

Stay Long Gone

I miss my wolf, I miss my beating heart
His emancipation breaks a soul
The companionship so willfully valued
In the depths of my soul
I created an Image so fulfilling and true
My heart was filled
In your arms it was hope
The treasures of our past
Hidden in a well known secret.
It was true time past
Without a care in the light that grew
We imagined and dreamed.
Knew each other in mind and spirit.
Love was strong
Until time whisked him away,
In the lonely night.

My Best Friend

I can feel it coming
The end of your story is near.
But please let me tell you,
How much I care
For all the moments you protected and loved me,
I'll never forget how you took away my fear.
The most wonderful companion
Who dried every tear.
It saddens me to see you go
But you will always be remembered, this I swear.
As I lay beside you thinking of the memories
Of me walking and feeding you, a perfect pair.
It never was owner and dog, just friends
Who loved and played so no one could compare.
I wish I didn't have to see you weaken and go,
For I know I'm losing someone dear.
And can't stand the thought of an empty home and an empty heart.
But I will always love you even in this despair.
Please go on strong and someday we will be,
The best human and dog pair.

Love Lost

The man of my heart has become the man of my sorrow
Each day I pray to be happy and together
My hunger for his love and simple touch
Is not enough
I long for him to embrace and see me as a lovely creature
Chasing the sweet smell of my beauty
The smile I would see was worth everything in the world
Slowly it fainted into a deep unknown, a mess of shadows
The treasured words will always be remembered
But the quiet lonliness will hang darkly over
Why has my mystic loveliness gone away?
Where is the once called Man?
Will he ever come again?
Steadfast and strong
Ready to seize a day of endless love
