A Hymn To Love

how come this fairness possesses such deeds
what a ruthless act thy heart did commit
for once I blundered and to thee I plead
bending words covering my shredded wit
appealing to the stubborn heart of thine
my unconscious mind hanging by a thread
that wrath from fairness will somehow decline
this age of prejudice thou will undid
for love condones faults to which hearts abide
and perceives lies from a different view
and love triumphs where all reason subside
making sense when our misfits are through
prey on the weak and the filthy sublime
but render lost hearts buried out of time

Of Love and Hope

resonate a sound ,oh, my sweet delight
a soft resilient tune to fill this void
for roses do flourish by thy own sight
and thy songs make them birds dance overjoyed
sing not of fear but of joy and yearning
for doubts are but a mere designer's flaw
though fate may scheme our road to be turning
love has no sail but where the wild wind blows
so tell of beauty and sweet surrender
summon them kisses on thy naked skin
trace them places caressed with my fingers
relive the moments and places we've been
oh Lord, do bless them souls intertwined
if love condemned blinded, fate is no blind

Inferno

I yearn for nothing, yet I expect more
Aimlessly wandering in life endless maze
That menacing lane I have tread before
Spends my life in empty repeated days
Hope is my only sin and my reward
Forlorn, I fathom reasons of despair
This silence around me, I once adored
Is torturing me, making me aware
That crimson dream is yet to dawn on me
And that portrait of life is miles ahead
Blind leading the blind is all I see
And life of lamenting the living dead
Denounced from life's melancholic joy
What is to treasure I fail to employ

Autumn of Souls

those breezes do tickle. unchained and pale

A lonesome autumn leaf prepare to fall

A dull morning where all yawning do fail

to cleanse empty spaces of crowded souls

Autumns cruel nights and early morning chill

brings void to life for young hearts to detest

This cold reckless dawn seems to linger still

untill yesterday's dreams lay down to rest

blank faced and senseless does tomorrow seem?

for no signs of joy this mighty wind tells

will the sunshine blossom a rose to gleam?

will the stormy thunder roar down and kill?

yet in the ashes of the past we crave

an autumn for a lost soul to get saved
