Vices

Powder dreams and acid queens
Snow white bliss and razor
blades
Rails so thick your heart will
bleed
Find your fix so you’ll succeed
Uppers, downers, sweet cocaine
Every demon has a name
All that matters is the fight
To stay alive and in the light
It hurts so bad right through the
core
You fear two words and that’s
coke whore
Cut so deep to feel alive
With every shot you build your
pride
The fiery rush and burning lust
Nothing else matters f*** their
trust
A slip, a fall is all it takes
To see you land back on your
face
The heart that breaks can’t take
no more
Your soul is gone thrown on the
floor
The pills you pop the smack you
shoot
The crack you cook the lines
you toot
The midnight toke that liquid
courage
That blissful coke won’t be
discouraged
Rapping, tapping on your door
Claiming your body take some
more
A stressful day a slip from grace
A couple more makes my heart
race
The walls cave in two worlds
collide
I wait in horror as my heart dies
A crash of sound a rush of red
Crimson tears are filled with
dread
The sirens fade and fall away
Too late for fate this ends today

Poison

You made me smile, and for a while
All was well and you were there
Now you're gone and i don't care
The love was true, the timing wrong.
Now your hearts broke, and I'm still gone.
I don't deserve you because I'm not there for you
And i don't deserve you because I'm not there for you
Now we're stuck with broken dreams love is a twisted memory.
I'll remember you, remember me, when your lost and still dreaming
You'll be fine without me, just breath and live again
Pick up the pieces that i left you in
I don't deserve you because I'm not there for you
I don't deserve you because our love was true
And I don't deserve you because it tortures you, it tortures you
Because I torture you
I want your attention, leading to destruction
I murder you with my smile, my eyes entrance you, strangle you
My lips are your poison, they're poison, we're flirting with disaster, such a beautiful catastrophe, you and me
Maybe just friends is impossible for us,
maybe just friends is disastrous for us.
And maybe i don't deserve you..... Because I can't love you.

6 O'Clock News

Black rose petals drift ominously to the ground under the moonlit sky
There sits a girl crying beside the body she once knew
I take her hand in mine and tell her she’s beautiful
Even with all her scars
Even with all her flaws
She’s perfect the way she is but does she believe me? I think not
A couple days later she’s on the 6 o’clock news
A couple days later the world has stopped for her
A life once so pure, now so full of self hate
Taken by the shadows of doubt
Taken by the shadows of self starvation
Taken until she wasted away
There sits a girl crying at what she sees in the mirror
With each handful of skin her heart fills with fear
I asked her to stop but got no response
Her mind is made up her body has lost
All turns black, she’s barely alive, can’t open her eyes
The tubes in her arms are how she’ll survive
A couple weeks later she’s on the 6 o’clock news
A couple months later she sees a new light
The road to recovery is a long way’s away
The road to recovery is what saved her that day
But now when I see her I remember that girl
She cried out for help and nobody came
She was taken away by the shadows of doubt
She was taken away by the shadowy depths of self starvation
She was taken away until she wasted away
Would it be different if somebody cared?
Would it be different if you had been there?

The Storm

Sometimes I'm like a hurricane
Tears falling like the rain
Sometimes I'm like a flood
Tears screaming all my pain
The rain falls on the fire
Turning it to steam
Emotions like acid rain
Take away the strength
The strongest statues crumble
Falling to the floor
Sometimes my lungs give out
They burn and scream for air
Sometimes my heart gets sore
I hear it beating in my ears
An earthquake of emotion
Destroys everything I've wanted
Everything I've fought for
Lays in a million pieces
Sometimes I want to disappear
Fade from your memory
Sometimes you're my worst
nightmare my only enemy
Haunting me in my dreams
Sometimes my fears take over
Waves slowly pull me under
I'm lost in my head again
The pain and sadness grows
Thoughts take me for a ride
Fight, Flight, or Hide
Sometimes I don't know
Where the wind will blow
Sometimes the scars feel fresh
The biggest in my chest
The bets are all on you
Its been you before the rest
All my chips are in
My heart, it beats for you.

Suburban Angels

we wander the streets searching for a place to call home
chaos and misunderstanding is our calling card
your fears have become our realities
the nightmare we once called home has burnt to the ground
theres no turning back, we've gone to far
our halos are rusted, our wings are burnt and blackened
ash and desolate haze covers everything
there's no saving us now...
we are just your suburban angels
the law isn't on our side it hasn't been for some time
they say we are a menace to society, trying to live our lives
drugs and violence is all we have in common, as it calms our souls
we're not as bad as some, we're not sick in the head
one more day goes by, we'll barely make it through
gunshots and car alarms shatter the midnight silence
our halos are rusted, our wings are burnt and blackened
ash and desolate haze covers everything
there's no saving us now...
we are just your suburban angels
we challenge the rich, we comfort the broken
we've damned ourselves for we lack sanity
they say we are a lost cause, failures by there standards
fire burns our hearts and yet our hearts are cold
we're hardened by life and darkened by sorrow
we'll never be like them and that's the way it is
we won't go without a fight, we won't just fade away
we are the suburban angels
our halos are rusted, our wings are burnt and blackened
ash and desolate haze covers everything
there's no saving us
we are a distant memory fading over time
but we will still just be the suburban angels

Fire N Brimstone

Fire N Brimstone

I feel my blood run cold, like
ice water is being pumped
through my veins.
Ice chip tears start to form and
console my now frozen heart
Blood turns black  from fire n
brimstone
A raven shrieks announcing his
arrival, he comes on swift
wings
And takes everything from me
Tears of ash shine like
diamonds
Under the blanket of souls
shining alongside the moon
The north star sits stationary
beckoning lost travelers
They embrace the shrouds of
darkness and aimlessly
surrender
Forever lost in the night as the
air turns crisp and chilled
The ice cold wind nips at their
heel like ravenous wolves do to
lambs
Everything blurs together
looking the same, it's to late to
turn back now
The moon calls out singing to
your fear, it's ominous glow
caressing your sense of hope
Circle after circle you can't
stand your ground, you've lost
yourself
Turned round and round
The sky collapses caving in, a
story board since time began
A snow flake falls marking your
skin no sound at all just
breathe again
Inhale exhale your freezing
slow until you feel that crushing
blow.
Those pins and needles of fire n
brimstone.

Love You For You

Your smile breaks my heart
With every step away
I promise you right now
My faithfulness won’t stray
Your words conquer my fears
Your love absorbs my tears
My dreams infuse with yours
Opens and closes doors
I love you in the dark
I love you in the light
I love you when you kiss,
And hold me really tight
I love the way you smile
I love the way you laugh
I love it when you stand up tall,
Just like a cute giraffe
I love the way you skate
And how you pull my hair
I love how you are you
And say that you’ll be there
You’re more than just my friend
I feel you’ve always been
I love the way you look
When you drift off to sleep
I love how we can laugh
And make fun of the “sheep”
The way you look at me,
Says everything to me
I need you here tonight
At darkness, and first light
I love you for you
It’s nothing short of true

Arch Angel of the Fallen

my wings have been burnt
I fell from above bending my halo
shattering the silence of reality
and tarnishing my soul
white turns to black as evil takes hold
hang on for dear life as it ends for now

I’m the archangel of the fallen
queen of the damned goddess of the darkness
tears fall down in streams of sorrow
breaking the rhythm of heartbeats born tomorrow
I’m the archangel of the fallen
and your wishes for sin are my burden

my eyes stare through your pain
no more mysteries remain it’s all unleashed
a fury raging from within addiction is a curse
creeping from the past is a ghost of distaste
screaming through the night to fight it
the will to deter it doesn’t falter
sobriety is my one and only answer

I’m the archangel of the fallen
queen of the damned goddess of the thoughtless
tears fall down in streams of sorrow
breaking the rhythm of heartbeats born tomorrow
I’m the archangel of the fallen
and your wishes for sin are my burden

darkness shrouds my past, mystery shrouds my future
and living in the moment is all I have to offer
the tattered remains of sanity cling with caution
I’ve had one too many falls and failing is no option
fading faster than the twilight is good verse evil

the ruptured light reflects my face in the mirror
disguising what I really am.. The archangel of the fallen
