Africa My Africa

......Africa my Africa....... A land flowing with milk and honey based on the Ancestral Savanna A land of beauty and radiance A land of strong warriors and built men A land of strong men with forsight A land where tobacco has its root deep into the loamy Africa my Africa Africa my Africa A land filled with beautiful maidens Maidens of honor and warmth sweets is the smell of their palm the rows in her hair defines her elegance A land of well bred princess of motherhood A land of sweet smell in its field Africa my Africa Africa my Africa A land of patriotic citizens A land of unending opportunites A place filled with rythme and sound of music in the air land where culture has its root Africa my Africa Oh how i long for my Africa the joy that fills my heart when i move closer can not be describe I long for my Africa, I love my Africa Africa gives me warmth and hope for a better day Africa oh my Africa

Ajoke ( Collective Pamper)

Calabash from the petals...

Cannot withhold all the joy in her heart

        A long way from home

Though all path fade away and travail becomes deeper

             for an ordeal to conquer

Papa always away at the stable...

Mama's millstone is never quite in slumber

            Beads dancing round the fire

Enjoying the breathe of a new palmwine

Feathers flyng in the wing of summer

Breeze blowing up the cover of imaginations

Pot too hot to hold erasing the memories of tale...

         Propelling the courage to thrive

Faith to cross the breached bridge of emotion

                   Boundaries without sweat and blood

                       Nor a lifeless pod?

                           Ajoke is my name!

Trip To the Immortal

All too strangled
Tingling like the cathedral bell
Woven together like a twine thread
long like end will never come
All rough and dusty
The trip to the immortal

Thirst is an understatement
Fire emanating from within
Water prickling down in an array
A continuous array
Slowly and steady
The trip to the immortal

Flesh all worn out
Perfume you can not find
Heart too heavy to walk
Leading to the thought of height and above
The trip to the immortal

Hearts swings in the wave of melody
Melody a path to accomplishment
Gazing at the Olympic ark
Athens is mine, Sparta I own
The trip to the immortal
See you at the other end of the bridge

Red Sun

…it’s beauty penetrating my skull...
Waiting for the coast to clear
              Jingling the cathedral bell
                 With redemption for my soul
                           Of a cause to rise

…Clarions withhold their shovels…
Fanning the thorns of the dust
To construct our long lost place of aboard
To sour to savor the ruin of its leather
                            And its honey jar

…Oh far till I can’t squint no more…
Till I can’t drift to the Nile time
Till I can’t foretell the desires
Till I can’t forecast the fortune
Till I can’t get enslaved in its warmth
A Ray of a rainbow night
                      Oh how all things fade.
