Pearl - Grey Skies

Beneath pearl-grey skies
Snowflakes brush sleeping woodlands-
Still life masterpiece.

Haiku Collection: Three

1.
The sun has fallen
Behind pacific rim;now
Pastels stream the sky.
2.
The winter solstice-
And harvests long since past the
Noon-time of my life.
3.
Frost on the pumpkin-
His face waxing sad for the
Warmer days gone by.
4.
Beyond this fence line
The valley goes on for miles
Then arcs to the hill.
5.
You are more than love;
You are more than the earth's beauty-
You Are Forever!
6.
A trellis full of
Morning glories sparkling in
The newborn sunrise.
7.
I should call the stars
To halo all the beauty
Of your lovely face.
8.
Will a sonnet do?
If so,then you're a sonnet
Written in the wind
            |
Fly to every shore
And linger there a while,that
Other's might read you.
9.
Shrouded in the mists
Of a time I used to know,
Lay the love of you.
10.
This sun bright morning,
The hills are dotted with cows
Of many colors.
11.
Sleepy eyes, roll on;
Take your rest beneath the pines
Locked away in dreams.
12.
I contemplate you~
Your long hair blowing wildly
At the meadow's edge.
13.
Trees, trees and more trees-
Everywhere I look, I see
Trees, trees and more trees.
14.
In favor of the
Flavor of the red apple(?);
Fruitless taste of time.
15.
Minutes 'til the time
When we will journey onward
To the garden gate.
16.
Let's ride the windy
Night until the dark is gone,
And we find the dawn.
17.
Soft,the drippling light,
Melting like a candle's wax
All along our path.

Sandcastle

My sandcastle cries
As the tide washes over
It with a strong force.

A Hand To Hold

When drums go moving mad
Crazy steps because the vogue
When my heart loses its flame
Will your love drive out the chills?

Rhythm keep the heart aglow
Strong to face its daily tasks
If this torah begins to wane
Will you then show me the light?

There for me through vale and hill
When the heart is seared and sore
When joy sounds are fading fast
Will you then lend me a song?

This business of life is tough
With no friend to hold my hand
But with you in joy and pain
I see happy days ahead.

Haiku Collection: Two

1.
Giant oak alive -
If you could talk,what stories
Would you tell the world?
2.
Ornamental sky~
Your melody of grandeur
Sings the earth awake.
3.
Music of the rain,
Your melody is soothing
To my weary heart.
4.
The moon overhead
And you standing in it's glow-
I am overwhelmed.
5.
Where bloom the roses,
Love can't be to far behind-
The two always meet.

Knowing You

Knowing you is the biggest accomplishment in my life.

Loving you is being alive.
It is being higher and touching the sky.

Not a day goes by without the
Thought of you being in my mind.

I do not know how to say it better,
Than the way I am writing it down on this paper.

Why do I feel this way?
Why do I need you near me every moment of every day?

Without you there wouldn't be a sunrise in the morning,
Or a sunset in the evening.

From silhouetted anger to a steady life's peace,
I rub the blood from my eyes that I shed for you. For Ashton

Snowflakes

Floating lazily,
The snowflakes gently ease my
Heart to prayerful rest.

Her Eyes (Haiku)

Haiku #1.

                            Filled with nostalgia as
I stare back from their depths
                          Crystal pools of radiance.

Haiku Collection

1.The storm is dancing-
I see it in the lightning;
Feel it on the wind.

2.What is deep to you?
Perhaps a shallow stream.
Well,oceans are my keep.

3.The day runs easy
When time is laid aside for
Rest on grassy hills.

4.Do you need some shade?
The maples and the oaks are
Giving it away.

5.Autumn in the woods;
Leaves that went the way too fast
Are still beautiful.

6.Cradle summer dreams;
Then let them go in winter
When the days are cold.

7.The sun-dappled elm
Rises like a monolith
Past the roof-top's edge.

8.Streaming ribbons high:
Unseen hands swept the sky
As if with push broom.

9.His stippled painting
Of flowers on grassy hill,
Brings peace in my life.

10.The leaves are coming.
A sure sign that spring has put
Winter on the run.

Spring Thunderstorm

A wayward sigh escapes you,
And truly blends with ease
Among the sights and sounds around you,
Greying skies and rustling leaves.

There is an ever-present beauty
In the calm before the storm
Anticipation, stillness, and the thoughts of keeping warm.

The calm is coming to an end,
It's more than plain to see,
As lightning breaks the clean grey slate
Of sky behind the trees,
The rain begins to mist, the wind begins to howl,
Lightning brightens threatening skies
As thunder snarls and growls.

The postman looks up to the sky
And shakes a tight-clenched fist
For the raindrops dance upon his head
Falling stronger than mist.

Somehow fear eludes me as I take in all the sights,
And suddenly, looking to the west I see clouds of white.
Blue comes shortly after then warm rays of sun.
Just as it came the thunderstorm is done.
