Daughters Tears

Most heartbreaking sound a father hears, the anguish, the sorrow, his daughters tears. My
girls, my son, into these eyes they bring, tomorrow, a new day, this rising sun. Should have
been a better dad, wish I had been more open, shown all this love I had. Cant take away the
past, but the future is there, waiting to be cast. Nothing is set in stone, there is a love, a
father they've never known. Stepping out of this shell, breaking away, away from that
burning hell. A father must face his fears, a loving dad will wash away, his daughters tears.

Beguiled

Her long brown hair, billowing wisps of sugary air.Never have I seen, eye's so molten
and green.Pouting lips,how beautiful they are.This night,the night I wished upon a
star.Enchanting beyond belief,she brings to me,enlightenment,serenity,this loving
peace.Magic is in the air,unimaginable,her shadowy,smokey stare.My thoughts are
running wild, what on earth, this heart has been beguiled.Lost loves long
past, memories that have faded. Some that were to be cherished, some hated. She
has given me hope, handed me desire. The journeys been long,a world of
unknown,now I can rest,this man is home.

Sunny Day

When the walls come crashing down, loneliness, silence, the only sound. I look, listen, but
there is no way around. This world full of intrigue, so many people left in need. Why the
suffering, why the pain, does it really have to be? Somewhere out there, I will find the
golden key. They say he's caring, say he's all knowing. Lead us the way, stop the burying,
start showing. Left to stand on our own, some not all there, some only half grown. I dont
understand it, dont see the reason. How do we do it, find that golden season. At last this path
I have found, leading me out to hallowed ground. This world I have seen, seen it in a dream.
Looking around, all the smiles, all the laughing. Peaceful, content, some napping. Now I am
here, shedding my very last tear. I have made my way, found this sunny day.

Shooting Star

If i could ride a star, how far would it take me, would all those I love, give up and forsake
me. If I could ride a star, what wonders could I see, would all those I love, look up and
believe me.When I ride this star, will you go with me, slide your arms around my heart, will
you never deceive me. If we could ride a star how far would it take us, would you hold on
tight, will you always believe in me. You have become my shooting star, my soothing heart.
I will never leave you behind, together this world of wonders we will find. Together in time,
thats how they will have seen us, as we pass Mars, and then Venus.

Waiting

As immortal as I feel, all this life inside, I know the day will come, the day this heart
beats still. I move a little closer, to breathe in the sweetness of your breath, my
heart beats faster, taking in this life giving source. Racing through my veins and
filling my lungs, your love is running its course. When this candle burns dim, when
there is no love left to give, the day this flame burns out, and there is no life left to
live, remember, you are always my guiding light, your love that burns so bright.
Walking this world alone, that was my life, all this heart had ever known. The
dreams I dreamed, the visions I had seen, all in my mind, never as they seemed.
You walked into my life, taking away this inner strife. I taste your lips, embellished
by these tender sips. The day of reckoning, the day I enter those pearly gates,
know my love, that this is where my heart surely waits.

Fountain of Love

To take a tumble, to fall from above, falling down this mountain, her mountain of love. To be
so humble and fall in love, feeling like I've lost her, lost this life giving fountain, the fountain
I love. Can feel it draining away, little by little, painting my days. Black and blue, what on
earth, what's a man to do. She always keeps me guessing, always one step ahead. This
heart is forever confessing, all the love its bled. I know she loves me, just got to get back,
back to the real me. A love that's meant to be, love conquers all, my shining heart she will
see. I am her guardian, I am her knight, for this woman's heart, I will always stand and fight.

Believe It

As you wrap your heart around me, looking into my eyes, ever so deep into my eyes, you
take me away, take me to the place I need to see. Away from all the pain, all the lies. As
you place your hand in mine, this feeling, this unknown feeling. A heart thats forever been
broken, you've started the mending, began the healing. When you tell me that you love me,
I know I can believe it. Never knew it was out there, the trust, the sincerity, never could
conceive it. Whatever you need , any desire, I will always be here, in this life, nothing could
take me higher. When I wrap my heart around you, and look into your eyes, so deep into
your eyes, I will take you away, take you to the place we need to be. A world with golden
rain and open skies. As I place my hand in yours, this feeling, this everlasting feeling. Your
heart will never be broken, my love is never ending I will keep you happy, keep you
reeling. All that I need, my only desire, your love, this fire......

Shadows of the Past

Walking through these shadows of the past, to be held in such dismay, these shadows that
leave me aghast. A life that has been left behind, her love, her beauty, what a jewel, such a
find. Never looking back, no regrets, she pulls me through, against all odds, against all bets.
Walking away from these shadows of the past, I turn and say, free from these shadows, free
at last. Broken hearts have collided, we come together, this life, our love, will never be one
sided.

Fitf Far In the Future

As I am walking these Heavenly clouds, when life gets to be too much, when all
seems lost and you just want to cry out loud, walk out in the rain, let me wash
away your sorrows, kiss away your pains. My whispering tears will always be with
you, through all of the tomorrows, all the dissapearing years. Let your mind go,
remember the way I loved you in life, the way I loved you so much. How you made
me feel, with only a look, just a touch. You once told me that you didnt know what
love was, my darling, its not what love is, its what love does. Love is all around us,
since birth, it has reached out and found us. When I would walk in at night, slip my
arm around you, and turn off the light. The peacefullness, the warmth you would
feel, letting your dreams take over, in the night so still. Knowing that I would protect
you, never doubting how much I care, and respect you. As we walked through the
day and a glance we would steal, it wasnt by chance, these feelings we would feel.
All the laughter we shared, our deepest emotions we bared. The times I would
make you so mad, left in the dark, without a clue. My heart was so sad, what had I
done, if I only knew. When you would come in from a hard days work, so frustrated,
just wanting to be heard. All day I had waited, tell me dear, I want to hear every
word. Love comes in all forms, in so many ways. It doesnt always make us smile,
but we know its there, all the while. Anytime you are feeling down, just remember,
all these memories, we had found. The most wonderful thing man's ever known, my
love for you has always shown. I will always be with you, never leave your side,
even though, in this life, my body has died.
