Rasta Master(For Bob Marley)

Rasta Master(For Bob Marley)

Like the lion of Judah ,

Lying on the coast of hope,

With the turban of gold crown,

From the mountain of glory,

His mantle of office adorn.

Clad in a regalia of reggae,

To do the regatta acloud again,

The buffalo soldier hosts the banquet.

All around the world,

Through the Poles,through the Equator,

Jah made whole,man no dismantle.

The flame burning with glory,

The lake of the bulb on Bob.

A robust heap of dreads on Robert,

It's a summer holiday in Marley.

I'm bereaved at the Sheriff's.

Redress,regret,emotion-the notion.

"Will be together; is this love that I'm feeling?"

To feel filled;is this real?

No mummies,no makings.

Wanna hold on to love-I n I,

Right place of fold;to stick aright.

Serenade

Serenade
O butterfly of beauty, the harlequin of Herphrodite,
Cladded in sequin lace and golden floss.
Of royale regale you are sunk in lavender,
And the sequoia of colours beseech thee.
You are the true vine of adorations,
Of tartan floss you glow in majestic revelry.
In flames of passion you dwell in ale of winter,
Of flakes of emotion you tell the tale of summer.

O butterfly of beauty, the beauty queen of herphrodite,
Shaded in the opals of ace and lustre of pageantry.
Vermouth shall be let loose when the mount displays,
And the vintage of opera shall raise the vantage.
The verdant of vino and the lingo of linoleum,
And memories of maiden days lay in royal elan.
From the songs of fairyland you deem comply,
And the tongs of Maryland the theme apply.

The Journey

The Journey

To save the criss-cross that lay ahead,
Set in epoch the traveller throng along,
With equestrian gallantry to solve the puzzle,
In divine supplication to attain the obligation.
And thus desire to maintain direction require,
With all the might and plight that attach instill.
Like Gulliver’s travails,you avail adventure,
Permeating municipal boundaries along magnificent rat-a-tats.
A hope for destination drives the traveller enroute,
And thus a large heart bequests the end.
The air of benevolence a promise of succour,
Trailing on surveillance and sourvenir alike.
Looking behind for memories of root depart,
That is left to romance the caress of bellow.
Like the colours of rainbow, you are clogged in entrepots,
Trodding the weary lanes with valiant approach.
Every hurdle scaled, every mantle attained beholds,
The valour of reminiscence on labour rend.
And seams renascent on time will concur,
The journey to the realm aspire.

Electricity

ELECTRICITY
The eel of our time with tails of electrons,
Will tell of exploits in torrents of currents,
And the places of stillness shall forever revolve.
To conduct,
To condone,
To conduce.
The mast of transformers in cables clad,
Of metals and voltage, scaling the resistance,
And of course, beaming on us, amperes in ammeters.
To confer,
To conform,
To conceive.
The days of industrialization awake the lakes,
Of things to do and trials to attempt,
Of hydro-chemo-solar revolving electrons to merge.

Hearth of Winds

Hearth of Winds

From west to east you plumb axisal spin,

And darted on the limbs of the poles.

On longitudes and latitudes, you are dotted in silhouettes.

Just above the horizon of age, you journeyed,

Beckoning the threshold of syllabubic windfalls.

Sated with doldrums of lambent haul,

And the pomp of sycamore hover instill.

When you call again at the Isle of trench,

The oracles of time shall tune again the aviary.

Seated upon the pillion of days the carter roves,

Tilting in all directions with hopes of succour.

A long way from time indeed you are,

But as the tides of valour surmise you triumph.

Once I saw an array of humanic acclaims,

In a manger of Sylphic heath of tenderness.

The hills of tonic travails titivating the hold,

And all the flakes of materialism dancing attune the vista.

The tales of deeds will forever entail polemic puzzles,

And the spate of the weaver’s loom shall reckon amidst.

Neutral Colours

NEUTRAL COLOURS

Special species in speeches,

Thronging the long lawn.

Chameleon:echelon of neutrality.

Pavillion:bullion of activities.

Springtime:symbol of productivities.

Humans abound around,

The globe for abode.

Different but not,

Inference for lot.

Global creed of love,

Total rid of war.

Loot the line-cross,

Pool the fire-molt.

Sweet Home

Sweet Home

From the tense of turbulence you profer comfort,
from the tests of time you offer abode,
Will all the fortresses of home refer incline?
Will all the fortitudes of hope adversity sublime?
The ocean of pleasure thou are; forever will I clamour instill,
The mission of leisure sweet amass; forever will I welcome still.
Dotting the lines of succour through the poets' quill-pen,
Blotting the limbs of honour through the Equerrian quince.
The enclave of birth and nurture to the dwell enclose,
The conclave of might and culture to the bells entwine.
Entrenched in shelter from rain and sun concomitant undo,
Embellished in sceptres from ornaments to unravel the feud's undue.
As the elements of Architecture are singing beautitudes,
The velvets of bevels are clinking tambourines.
As the culverts of artefacts are mincing soirees,
The valance of bevies are ringing solarium.
In May you lay in mash of holy velds,
And in June will Juno return amidst.
Oh God of mercy grant us the grace of lair,
When the solace of sauna breeds comfort of sweet home.

It's My Birthday

It's My Birthday

Within me it's light.Around me it's vineyard.

Glitter of the sun, resplendence of the moon,

and the immensity of the stars, like the shone

of my minds.

The spiritual me,Godliness to accomplish.

My psyche to conform into humanity. My emotions,

heartbeats, the language of the expansive society.

With my physical power I will trail my destination.

With the opportunity of today,I will delve into yesterday

and project into tomorrow.Certainly I will spread my story

around the world.Lillies of the spring, daffodils of the stream,

roses of the field, the prides of Barbados.I will heed the fragrance

of favour.

I live in me,my life-my willpower,the lustre of continuity.In celebrating

to have been born:emeralds, lighted coloured candles on cake, attires,

music to ginger the soul, the group-substance and integrity, munchies,

drinks,goodies,furniture,decorations...with a banjo,I will anchor my banquet.

Serene Night

Serene Night

The ingress of celestial shadows above,
Around the surface of material structure.
Swallowing the brightness of day, darkness exchange,
And snaffling away what once deemed spate.

The soprano gradually creeping into solitude,
When the movers of life have journeyed in trance.
You enveloped the colour sheets in purple glimmers,
And sunlight bask diminished like game of solitaire.

Only the baste of soot creeps bated along,
The basket of life sleeps sinking prolong.
Of the capacious loom with loops of inapt tendencies,
And the cape of rest cresting the creole crevice.

When slumber is far taken and numbers regain,
And dews pervade the face of burgeoning light.
The beckon of bed and breakfast treat delight,
Will welcome the led of tracks from dusk till dawn.

Nigeria Is 50-Golden Green,Whitish Gold

NIGERIA IS 50-GOLDEN GREEN,WHITISH GOLD

Sallah is just a breathe away,

I hear the bells jingle

Like Christmas and New Year

Come to mingle.

Summer is just a step away,

I hear the birds beckon

Like light and water

Come to reckon.

Regards to Lugard,favour above,

Honey and spice,well and manna

Come to dwell on our land

Peace from above come aboard.

Azikiwe,Balewa,Awolowo,

Men of honour and valour,

I hear the well of blackgold

Smell of riches and wishes.

I wish to be in El-dorado,

To live in the city with electricity,

When the minute of resolution comes

The moment of solutions shall adorn.

Oh God of creation arise,

Let our leaders think aright,

Corruption is pestilence revolt on creation,

Tell them the ways of justice to trail.
