Music Vibe

Enchanted by the flame that burns,
Orange fingers twist and turn.
Heat my shadow as it dances,
Fill my head with unborn chances.

I shed my outer shell of age
Embrace the beat, let go the rage.
I float on clouds of red and yellow,
The music vibe make’s me mellow.

The music vibe… it’s the name of the game,
The music vibe… I ain’t never the same.
The music vibe… ignite me tonight,
It’s a burning, blazing, intoxicating, heavenly delight.

I drift in the heat of the music maze,
Filling my head with a purple haze.
You’re my drug, a flame that burns high,
You’ve given me wings, now I touch the sky.

Wrap my hands in your golden flame,
Transport me to a new time frame.
Dreams become like a spinning top,
The music vibe, don’t ever stop.

The music vibe… it’s the name of the game,
The music vibe… I ain’t never the same.
The music vibe… ignite me tonight,
It’s a burning, blazing, intoxicating, heavenly delight.

Turn up the heat music man”
Play the tune of my favorite band.
Carve it in stone or the bark of a tree,
But your vibe dances in every flame that I see.

The music vibe… it’s the name of the game,
The music vibe… I ain’t never the same.
The music vibe… ignite me tonight,
It’s a burning, blazing, intoxicating, heavenly delight.

Every Time

My gaze is swayed,
My thoughts scattered.
An unrecognisable tremor.
Is that sweat I feel?
My grip tightens.
The cold steel kisses my skin.
I forget to breath, forget to blink.
Mouth runs dry.
No sound registers.
No sound but that of my heart.
Transfixed by the blue.
Like dazzling sea kissed by sun.
I’m drowning, yet I stand.
Held only by the glue.
The glue of longing.
Fire grazes my lips.
Months, days, hours and seconds.
All have lapsed.
All, but this sequence,
Each time my eyes meet yours.
