Me

Me

A creature of time
Not limited by this space
An immortal man

Love

Love
~~~~~
Love can make the most brilliant mind
Into that of a babbling idiot
Intellect and equations flee
The neat and ordered becomes chaos
Butterfly’s in the stomach
Cat gets your tongue
All your studies of nature
Made no mention of this
Trying to figure it out is a waste of time
The conclusion is harsh
And very simple,
Love just is.
Breakfast
Breakfast
I remain civil for that is the cloth from which I was sired and cut
Much regret is apparent and painful in your eyes but not for me to behold
They say that revenge is a dish that is best served cold, still I wouldn’t know
Just desserts are a lackluster way to describe your unrepentant folly
Day in and day out realizing that the prince was yours to have
But you have not nor do you seek the will or power to change your past
I still at times alone eat the same breakfast we used to lovingly share
Perhaps I could invite you to this five star repast but three is a crowd
So you finally realize that you’re stuck with less than nothing
And you have to take out the trash everyday.
Mastermind
Mastermind
String bean of a youth because of an eating disorder
Found a cure for that ailment called Mary Jane
Grown a little bit south of the Tijuana border
Fleet of both feet and wit, Oop’s I forgot about the tongue
And a magnet for lots of chicks both old and young
Speaking quite softly yet carrying a very big stick at all times
A quick grasp of the English language both written
And spoken with the sweetness of rhymes
Became an object of more senseless violence not just
To the mother of step but also bullies, racist and wanna be thugs,
Rejected the life of a loser being involved in crime and drugs
More interested in science, the stars and history that was past,
They hated me even more each day for the A's I scored in every class
Evolution’s calling that puberty heralds were the same for him as all others
Cupid's onslaught of bows and arrows went over my head
Years of mistreatment were turned around from foe to friend
Finally he could distinguish the difference between love and lust
And eventually learned of those who knew of honor that were worthy of trust
Elevation of status from nerd and geek to the conquering lord of hood boys and girls
Showed the masses of lost children treasure, not of diamonds, rubies and pearls
Taught them pente, mahjong, backgammon, and chess
Opened in their eyes many new worlds limited by the world not thought
In the hopes that one more spirit such as he had been rises from the mire
And is destined for a place of ascension in the azure skies
Chef Sang
Chef Sang
Pick up your food now!
If I ring this bell once more
Too late it’s cold now.
Rubber Ducky
Rubber ducky
~~~~~~~~~~
I've got a duck, a rubber duck
It lives on the tub, I like it
I had one when I was six
Once when I asked my stepmother where it was
Her reply was "I'll show you a rubber duck
you little freak!"
That day I learned and earned the price of my
Childhood
That time it was cheap only two teeth a bloody nose
and a fractured jaw
My every move in life exacted a different pain
and suffering
I learned how to hate, and then I learned how to love
that’s why last year I bought the duck that lives
on the tub
It's just a small reminder.

Mane of Woman

Mane of Woman

The smell of pure bliss
Flows as an untouched river
Blonde, Redhead, Brunette

Ninety-Nine Milligrams

Ninety-nine Milligrams

Corners and shadow, in silence so long
This is my world, it is my own
Does not conform to conventional guidelines
So they labeled it autism
Fools, they are so close to the truth yet so far
Reality is mutable here and so I make it
Heaven and Hell, for many and none
A stained and tainted strand frayed and withered
Time without memory passes
Yet the seasons give testament
Dendrites dance within the cannabis indica
Fractured thoughts and lithium induced haze
He's going back to the future.
