My breath refuses to let me be
My eyes are dirty and won't let me see
But the train is coming and it will not wait
I cannot rest, I cannot be late
I have to ride and fly tonight
Tomorrow will come with all of its light
And I must be there prepared or not
To fight the days that must be faught
Life goes on and waits for none
You fight the days until there done

The wood and the wind
The strings and the bend
When I pluck when I strum
Vibrations within
It's not the notes that sound
But my soul deep inside
Relieving little pains
In which they chose to hide
Long nights and cigaretts
Alchohol and deep thought
Drugs and women
And the pain that they brought
Im at the hands of a killer
And I am my shaking gun
Deciding soon tonight
If tomorrow I see the sun
But for now I hold you dear
On this porch you help my pain
Cry with me guitar
And alive I shall remain
