Mindstorm

Yesterday was hell.
I know,
I made it so,myself.

I took the words that someone said
And turned them into a weapon
I used against my own person.

I couldn't let go,
I wouldn't let go.
I became stuck in a negative mindstorm.

Was the moon in chaos?
Had the past lain in wait
for just that sentence?

I do not know,
And won't wait to dissect
the reasons I went wrong.

Today I will try again,
To treat myself and others
With more kindness.

God knows we all deserve
A second chance, or maybe three,
Or even four...

Introduction

INTRODUCTION

My caricature is outlined
In the jar of vocabulary

On the edge of expression
I tear into existence

Plying limits
Self imposed

Exposing me
Composing me

Not Titled

Alone on a hill-

                              Afternoon end of summer;

                               Dark clouds piling-up.

Alphabetical Zen

Alphabetical Zen

A bee came dancing,

energetically flying.

Glides high into July’s kindly landscaped moment.

Navigates over petals, quaffs rose splendor.

This useful vagabond with x-rated youthful zest.

Begin Again

Begin again to start another day.
Let go yesterdays' troubles, turn another page.
We cannot know the effect of the little things we say.

Ask yourself-what good can I do along the way?
Daily life wants simple answers, you don't have to be a sage.
I just have to do the best that I can today, and every day.

Duties will be ever present;
Accept that- it is just life at this stage.
By nightfall you wonder where the time went-

But having done your best
You know that you have earned your rest,

And then your dreams begin.
