I Love You Not

I Love You Not

I love you, not
	Because you’re all everything
But ‘cause you inspire me to be something
I, without you, can never have a lot.

Love for me is not sweet
If you don’t fill me with plain longing
Though I know we’ll soon be meeting
Love I can’t live without even for a minute.

You won’t need to be my soul mate
Because you know by your true sharing
Of ups and downs in living
You and I are united in the same fate.

Not all your dreams though
Are coming into this tough reality
But I contently live those desires as destiny
Not at all regret saying I always love you so.

Happiness

Be yourself
Enchant from a distance

Have a true dream
Avoid ghoulish competition
Passion in anything
Past lessons learned before reacting
Yes, it’s only beautiful if it’s different…

Love Under the Sun

The sun-birds seem endlessly twitter
Rue not the day I love you
Up there the leaves quiver lively greener
The ripples unhurriedly caress the bank of a river
Haul me with pleasant shiver of being stuck on you
For the sun and the birds are there
Up-and-down I know with your love
Lighten all worries and fading hopes
Lessening my sweet taste that
You sometimes feel bitter

Long after we learn the sun will set
Or the birds will quietly be home
Vast rivers may even get dry
Even nothing left but silence

Yet through all these ups and downs
Of living under the sun, still I Love
U

Durian Flowers

The sudden bright rain
When durian flowers* fall--
Smell of bigger joy.

Life Runner

Life Runner

Life the kite,
The kite in sturdy wind
Of life game to win.

Wind of life,
The kite runner calls for
To fly high and soar.

More games of gripping,
And loosing line
To soothe the endless –often uneasy– journey
To strongly live the game.

Life the Kite

Life the soaring kite
Worth only with the soft wind
Like a child it smiles.

Life holds and lets go
Like the kite in the strong wind
Feel the bliss to win.

Life runner in wind
of fields with ups and downs wind
stand still bitter smiles.

Imperfect Lover

Loook again,
You're wrong in this: If,
You think you're all out thriving
Just to find something illusive
You blindly call perfect love, and
An invisible being called perfect lover.

Love never stays.
It incessantly grows, blindly
harbours at no already-set hearts of
those who have visually felt filled.
Thus, perfect lovers never exist.

Love is always new in many ways,
filling the empty looking souls, growing
from seconds to years...and then ages,
and true lovers grow along.

You won't be there, but following, for
only traces of a perfect lover are real.

But, it's more than enough.
Loving lovers imperfectly grow,

and a true lover is never perfect.

Gone But Unforgotten

I will never be ready even though you signal your leaving
I foolishly keep the bright days since so much yet needs sharing
of long partings after our intense then rare meetings
of wild childhood stories and unfathomable blur future waiting
nowhere we could ever imagine even truly existing.

The beauty of the freely crystalized future has then come true
with your unchanging care and simple soul in skillful gesture of true blue.

You know I love you so much even in my silence
I know you’re now gone, but forever unforgotten,
Wishing you were here, silently cheer our encounters often
even if I know much of your pain and sometimes helplessness stands
in the face of bitter destiny, we all struggle to walk away, to just be gone.

But we can’t lie that time to bodily part will come anon, perhaps this afternoon breeze
just in time to forget our worries, but to thankfully remember our sweet memories
of how much I love you…
And I will always do
in the deep ocean of true blue.
                                                                                      (28 October 2022)

The Sea and Me

The sea is always there for you and me to see
The sun is there too to warm our glee
The birds are happy with no worry
The flowers bloom their beauty
Though all for just temporary

So when the sea seems so harsh and unfriendly
When the sun eclipse is there for us to see
When the birds twit of no sound chirpy
And flowers wither before they’re bloomy
Just keep them all in your memory
Blame neither the birds nor the sea
When they’re not sunny and flowery
But gloomy and even stormy

Just blame me…
For not telling you
To get ready.

Love Loathes

Love loathes the poison in me when
I just let it grow in passion
Love takes the venom off my mind
Without a justification.

But,
In me loathe also loves the poison
With all its true strength and deception
Loathe detests love in my foolish compassion
Along with my superficial rationalization.

Yet,
Love loads me with peace, taking
Loathe forever
Once love loves
Those who loathe
Love.
