" Life's To Short "

“Life’s To Short”

Have you ever heard the saying: Life’s to short?
Well it means you don’t have time to waste,
You only have time to spend,
The world’s coming to an end and no one knows when…
You better spend all your time with your family,
Life’s To Short,
People are mourning, over people that’s dieing,
Life’s To Short,
When you read the news paper, or even look at the news,
All you see is people getting killed,
The world’s coming to an end and no one knows when,
Life’s To Short,

Stop wasting your time on drug’s, and sex,
Spend time with your family the one’s who really LOVE you,
Life’s To Short,
Stop getting locked up,
Stop having sex, with everybody you see,
Stop being a hypocrite,
Live life with your family,
You don’t have time to waste,
The world’s coming to an end, and no one knows when,
Life’s To Short,

What part don’t you understand?
Live life with your family,
Do what God say’s,
Life’s To Short:
To be hustlin’,
Kill’n folks,
Going to jail,
Instead live life positive,
Live life with your family, the one’s who really love you,
LIFE’S TO SHORT

                                   ***dedicated to the world***
my friend got put in prison for being with the wrong people at the wrong time and now he
has to serve 15 to 20 years in there for murder and he didn’t even commit the crime…That’s
what inspired me to write this poem…So please take this and use it…

                                                                            Sincerely: Dodie

Without You

“WITHOUT YOU”

Is it real?
Is it true?
Are really here without you?
Is there some drug we’re on?
You can’t really be gone.
Tell us someone please, we’re begging on our knees.
Tell us he’s still here, we’re not really crying these tears.
Maybe he’s on vacation, maybe it’s our imagination.
We must double check; he couldn’t have died of drugs!
How could he be dead?
Why was my daddy on drugs?
Why him?
Why daddy?
There must be some mistake.
I wish everyone were lying, because I can’t stop crying.
Never again will we feel his touch, we miss him oh so much.
How long must we wait to meet our fate, and be reunited with our daddy, brother, and
uncle???

To My Daddy

To my daddy

I don’t know how to put these words in place I love you so much
At times I sit and stare wondering if you’re going to return and relieve me from this
nightmare
When they told me you died I was like stop lying that can’t be true not Gary not him he didn’t
deserve to die he’s my father my world my life my mind cant stop spinning with thoughts
Why can’t they stop?
The funeral almost killed me wanting to crawl in the casket with you but couldn’t
I can’t understand…
I see everyone with their father you were my everything and still are my entire life
I thought life was supposed to be like finish high school, graduate from school ,go to college,
get married have you to walk me down the aisle, be a grandpa and I love you forever more
I guess life and destiny got in the way
I’m praying that I’ll make it to heaven to see you fall in your arms and cry till I can’t no more
Lord please forgive me
Daddy I wish I could see you one last time and explain and express and tell you everything
(things changed after you died) mom is tripping and blaming me for everything when its not
my fault
Please come back
If your listening to me dad know I love you…

I Would Never Promise You

I Would Never Promise You with just my strength alone,
But all my life I'd care for you and Love you as my own.
I've never seen the future. I only see today.
Words that last a lifetime would be more than I could say.
This Love inside my heart today is more than mine alone.
It Never changes. Never fails. And Never seeks its own.
And by the GOD who gives it and who lives it in me and you this very day.
I swear these words I speak today are the words I'm gonna do.
So I stand before you now for all to hear and see.
And Promise you in JESUS' name a Love he's given me.
Through the years on earth and as eternity goes by,
The life and Love he's given us are NEVER going to die.
