Sitting here, staring at my guitar
Trying to write a song
Didn't think it'd be that hard
Cuz you've been in my head all day long
But, I can't find the words, just like when I'm around you
I don't know what to say and I don't know what to do

Your eyes are your disguise
They're what makes me wan to come closer
They hide what's really inside

The more I get to know you, the more I start to hate you
I thought you were different, but you're just the same

When you said we'd be together 'till the very end
I should have known you were just playing make pretend
How could you do this to me?
Think of how happy we could've been
But instead I was in tears in the end
