CHARIOT OF FIRE a collab with PAUL CALLUS

CHARIOT OF FIRE I stand in silence and behold the sight, staring in wonder, waiting for thunder. A chariot of fire travels through the night. The white-winged horses gallop in full flight pulling at the reins; flowing are their manes I stand in silence and behold the sight. Where are they going? There’s a shining light leading all the way, so they will not stray. A chariot of fire travels through the night amidst the heaven where in pure delight resides the Master, the sweetest lover, I stand in silence and behold the sight; Blessings whisked to amble slowly with plight; heartbeats race to sway, courage on display. A chariot of fire travels through the night armoured by God’s spirit. They ride like knights fearless from pain; victory, their peak gain. I stand in silence and behold the sight; a chariot of fire travels through the night. ©P.A. Callus and O. E. Guillermo Written last 5:07 pm, November 17, 2014

Journeys

Traveling the roads of destiny
many surprises to be found
each leading to some new beauty

Some journeys taken most blithely
for exotic places we are bound
traveling the roads of destiny

Fabulous sights from balcony
of spires and ancient battlegrounds
each leading to some new beauty

Journeys some take with ceremony
for new places we are now bound
traveling the roads of destiny

Paths reach out in disharmony
the right one has to be now found
each leading to some new beauty

Some of them full of tyranny
the awful silence of no sound
traveling the roads of destiny
each leading to some new beauty

Pursuit of the Impossible that Leads to Discovery

Why do I visit here, it’s mostly for self-reflection
First through my reading , that I’m able to explore
Then writing with the goal of reaching perfection

This not possible, but I still do tedious inspection
Over time I do notice that I am better than before
Why do I visit here, it's mostly for self-reflection

This pursuit does require the very finest selection
Time passes, less and less never more and more
Then writing with the goal of reaching perfection

Although not attainable there are many a detection
New truths revealed, I’m a kind in a candy store
Why do I visit here, it's mostly for self-reflection

What I read, what I write, in me it causes reaction
Patience I didn’t have before, allows me to endure
Then writing with the goal of reaching perfection

Many reading this might react with some rejection
What does your soul and mind ask you to implore
Why do I visit here, mostly it’s for self-reflection
Then writing with the goal of reaching perfection

Eternal flight of dark and light

The shadows of eternal light
Reason by virtues light complete
I lift my eyes and raise my hope

Dark are the passions of my hope
with sorrows eyes I know not, how to cope
The shadows of eternal light

Dark are the passions of my love
with sorrows love I can not dream
I lift my eyes to raise my hope

Gone are the shadows of my doubt
with dreams I see tomorrow shout
The shadows of eternal light

Dark and grey tomorrow, knows no bounds
yet dreams are built on yesterday
I lift my eyes to raise my hope

Gone are the days increasing blues
raised to levels yet unknown
the shadows of eternal light
I lift my eye's to raise my hope

Rhyme battle round four
