Here lies the best Grandfather,
One who was very considerate.
Remembering him as a child,
I would sit on his lap.
He was a rare person indeed.
He was a colonel in the Army.
Also superlative of a gentelman.
Here lies the best grandfather,
May he rest in peace.

The Eye

The eye,a sign the
unwise can't comprehend
  Forged from the world's
illumination in darkened
minds,for the
enlightened ones like
Leonardo da Vinci,Isaac
Newton,John Milton....etc.
   The eye is a tree
with many branches like
Priory of Scion,Knight
Lodge,Music industry,
Politics,global economy,
stretching beyond
human imaginations-felt
in all corners of earth.
  The world is clothed
through wisdom from
   The eye,all seeing
sign,an invincible
emblem of power and
riches to the lion hearted
and loyal souls.
A seat of influence and
  Creating the social order
through men of power....
  Some see it as a
curse,others a blessing.
I feel it,the great eye is
everywhere watching

US in JesUS

Before we were thought of or time had started,
God put US in His Son’s name..
And each time we pray, you'll see its true,
You can't spell Jesus without including US.
Were a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For US, He was born;
And His great love for US is the reason He died.
Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with US in His plan?
The stones split away, the gold trumpet blew, egospelexpress
And His resurrection was for US.
As JesUS left the earth with His wonderful ascension,
When He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.
"Go into the world and tell them it's true
that I love them all - Just like I love you."
So many people are Christian brothers and sisters,
Don't all the others have a right to know JesUS too?
It all depends on what we do,
He'd like them all to know,
But it all starts with US.

Shall We Try For One More Year

How many years now has it been – maybe fifty-seven? We’ve traveled down some pleasant roads, on our way to Heaven. We’ve looked into each other’s eyes – seen both joy and despair. We’ve wondered how we’d make it when resources were not there. In looking back to find just how this love of ours began I believe it is controlled by some divine master plan. I believe if God does not exist there’d be no you and me. And all this time together would be less than destiny. I know that my redeemer lives – God’s word tells me so – He sent you as a soul mate as through this life I go. He knew there would be obstacles; I know He put some there To determine if we’d solve them with the mighty gift of prayer. I believe the lesson we have learned in traveling down life’s road Is to bring our troubles to Him to lighten up the load. We realize that we’ve been blessed sharing time together here Still one decision faces us --- Shall we try for one more year? Written for my wife on the occasion of our 57th…12/21/12 … Let’s go again Darlin’…. John Posey

A Wonderful Wife

The Lord brought to me a blessing in my life! He's blessed me with such a wonderful wife! Help me Lord to not be deceived by other things I see… May I continue to love the wife you gave to me! Help me to give her my undivided attention! And to give all of my love and affection! In my her, may I daily seek her inner beauty! And treat her like the finest diamond and ruby!

Thanks For My Wonderful Wife

I remember the first time I
 and my wife first met.
The beauty in her... I'll never forget!

I won't forget the day
and the place.
I'll never forget the look
 on her face.

The feeling I had was
 hard to describe.
I knew she was going to be my bride!

I'm thankful to Jesus for
bringing us together.
Binding us as one...
Both now and forever!

Twenty years have passed...
 since our wedding day.
She's still my beautiful wife!
I'm proud to say!

Thanks be to God,
 for making us one.
I pray for his blessings upon
 our daughters and sons.

May God be the unifying
love in all that we do.
May we never forget the meaning of...
 "I love YOU!"

Each day I look at her...
what do I see?
This wonderful wife God
 has brought to me!

I'm thankful and honored
to have her as my wife.
She's been such a blessing...
A great part of my life!

Spring summer

~ Where should I start this poetic trace? ~

Supple summer, season scene
Takes off coats and welcome warmth
And tranquil under soften sky.

Spring 'O' Spring precedence over summer...
Summer host long light evenings,
Carol patterns and seldom pit-a-pat.

Fertile season, holder of juicy jubilee
Easter burners' night, palm Sunday pedestrian...
And good Friday chorus.

March-to-October, love you so much.

~ Hope I am not missing out? ~

Dedicated to the lover of the above poetic summer season.

The Wickedness That Abounds

The Wickedness That Abounds! Throughout this world, wickedness abounds! Just about everywhere, it can be found! God’s word says sin leaves a very dark stain. We have no one else, but ourselves, to blame! The heart of man is desperately wicked inside! It causes many to be filled with much pride! We often hear of tragedy shown on the t.v. You may think, “this will never happen to me!” A mind without God, gives the devil “fertile soil.” It’s like water in a teapot that’s ready to BOIL! Without God’s word, as our guide and rule… We’re empty inside, and are easily fooled! The goodness of God can calm the troubled heart! On your knees in prayer, is a good place to start! The grace of Jesus is powerful! And can instantly change! With Jesus, your life can be restored, and “ re-arranged!” All of the government spending cannot match HIS power! With Christ… You can overcome anything! This very hour! Please Jesus, come and remove our burdens amongst us! We need you here today! And to always be with us! YOU ARE what we need all across this great nation! By the power of your blood and wondrous salvation! By Jim Pemberton 05/09/13

Happy Anniversary Saint James Episcopal

Happy Anniversary Saint James Episcopal

Was another one of those wonderful days
When we all woke up and gave God praise
And then thanked Him for His each thing
He gave and much happiness to us brings.

Like my husband who I love having around
Who I always do adore hearing his sound
Being true to me and thoughtful and kind
Being a person bringing me peace of mind.

With God we play many fine, fun games
Get to go to church they call Saint James
Marg much melodious music does play
Father Dave a great sermon starts to say.

Choir is on time and recognizes each beat
Always seems nice and sounds so sweet
Church Vestry in front hall you can view
And can even volunteer to be member too.

God gave me poem that does seem great
Read on website and bulletin can hardly wait
Especially some sinner who later repents
Hope to them my poem will make much sense.
