Tonight I will be the special guest
I’ll be dressed in my very best
With a brown coat and golden fluff
A tiny tie, I will be stuffed
I’ll wear the perfect cologne for me
A spicy mixture of earth and sea
The aroma will fill the air
All my friends will be there
We will laugh and pray
Mom will work the entire day
I will be honored with a special toast
Everyone will admire my coat
It will be my finest hour
As all my friends will devour
This is what I was brought here for
This turkey could not ask for more

The Spiritual wings'
Of Eternity there-by
Expands' with me and you
We sing the praises'
And totally abhor
His Holy sacrifice
We seek His wisdom
We seek it in His Name
Should we have did
What He had did
On the CROSS
The one in the same
Should it have ended that way
Could we have just stayed
The Man of the Cloth.....
Under different circumstances'
We all could have been lost
Fore The Lord is Thy Shepard
Could we have followed
In the name of the Lord
Give due praises'
And just let us pray!
We shall become Resurrect
Come Judgement day'
Young child full of hope and dreams,
volcanic personality laced with possibility,
charming but devious with schemes,
young Eunuch, powerful yet lacking stability.
Named after the god Janus hence January.
Having two faces, one facing the future,
one facing last year’s gory mortuary.
Favorite flower: a carnation to nurture.
A fickle young fellow indeed,
star of the time and space show,
riding a happy go lucky steed.
All dressed up but ..where to go?
Sporting a favorite garnet gem,
enjoying the groupies and fanfare,
tripping over last year’s hem.
History is the map, but will he care?
Janus was old Roman god (two faces) referred to as "spirit of the opening".

. . . . . . . The genius of theory ~
HALF AGAIN IS ~ TWICE AS MUCH
AS THE FIRST PART!
Have a good year ~ the last half!!!
In mystery I awed her quietness while Mother Nature accompanied with a wind song
January is her name, eyes bedazzled like the stars that dance in the dark
Cheeks shiny and pristine, skin pale transluscent and new just like this year
The sun crept behind its veil of white and January said she must go
Hard and unimaginable to believe she prompted to stay a lovely thirty one days
31 days of songs, skipping over the frosty crunch of dehydrated land
Holding hands as my year proceeds, she lets go
In sympathy she promises her return same time as always
In reality I let her go and in pain forsake the other months to come
But as she gently climbed back out my window she looks back smiles
Galliantly like a soldier who has finally returned and with a whip of the wind
A gentle whisper she leaves her love in symbolic bumps from head to toe of my body
I shudder grabbing closer my coat
Her scent I still smell... of sage, rosemary and leftover holly
Trinkles of wet cascade down my cheek slightly brushing the edges of my shoulder
As I say...
See ya soon! my dear old gal January
I know that I am
Not a Turkey
I have said this
Hope to make it
And not just end up
At the foot of some-ones'
I know that there is truth
And of this...
I wil not be forsaken
But, above all else
I hope not to be mistaken
Something real Turkey might say....
There is a little Turkey in all of us.....
