The Man in the Wilderness

Feeling like a lodger
In my own home
Thankful for my music
And my new found roam

Families and communities
They are just so hard to find
But in April 2009
I found the most precious kind

I found the name amusing
So the button i clicked on to see
The layout was very inviting
Like an open door should be

For in a matter of minutes
On first uploading a poem
This Highlander was content
He had found a welcome home

So many lovely writers
Poets who share their bless
No longer this Scotsman is
The Man in the Wilderness

Unanswered Poems

Don’t send me more
Of your tragic poems
My dear
Covered in blood
Of your monthly flood
Of tears

Don’t send me more
Of your angry poems
My dear
Carved with the knife
Of your molten spite
And fears

I’m just a peddler
With a cart
Bringing discount words
To hearts
Broken hearts across the land
Woman left without her man
Broken hearts throughout the world
Anguished boy and crying girl

Your poetry’s too heavy, dear
For me to read, for me to bear
Your poetry’s too heavy, dear
For me to get from here to there

Don’t send me more
Of your bitter poems
My sweet
Forged in the fire
Of your endless ire
And grief

Don’t send me more
Of your hopeless poems
My sweet
Ripped from the womb
Of the lonely room
You keep

I’m just a peddler
With a cart
Bringing discount words
To hearts
Broken hearts across the land
Woman left without her man
Broken hearts throughout the world
Anguished boy and crying girl

Your poetry’s too heavy, dear
For me to read, for me to bear
Your poetry’s too heavy, dear
For me to get from here to there

(You see that shadow on the road
Trudging ‘neath its heavy load
A heart weighed down by sands of time
And your poems only make him cry
And he won’t add them to the pile
So he can walk another mile)

(And he won’t add them
To the pile
So he can walk
Another mile)

Too heavy, dear
Too heavy, dear
For me to read
For me to bear

(They make him sad
Make him cry
Beat him down
Deep inside)

Too heavy, dear
Too heavy, dear
For me to read
For me to bear

They make me sad
Make me cry
Feel as though
I want to die

(And he won’t add them
To the pile
So he can walk
Another mile)

Too heavy, dear
Too heavy, dear
For me to read
For me to bear

(A heart weighed down
By sands of time
And your poems
Only make him cry)

Too heavy, dear
Too heavy, dear
For me to read
For me to bear

Blood upon Pages

As I place the pen
on paper
my soul beings
to bleed
upon the pages
my secret longings
hopes and dreams
of which I hope to be,
how I want to reflect me
transpire into the universe
within my poetic lyricism
the warm sweet smoke
of my vega blunt
swirls about me, flickers
in and out of motion
as the vanilla candle nearby
fights the shadows in my room
the cool summer breeze
from my window
carries dancing sinsemilla
fog around me, allowing
my mind
to adventure elsewhere
into the nights abyss
of minutes, turned to hours
I write
pages, of words
scribbling my life, struggles
and fears
Bob Marley and Lauryn Hills
“turn your lights down low”
beat inspirational peacefulness
on my eardrums
my small hands delicately pluck
my imaginary guitar strings
as I join her in a solo, Miss Hill's
magical voice cracks
with emotion, and my soul
tingles with excitement
For creativity flows
within my veins
I breath real music, such as
she, as soon as daylight opens
thine dark brown eyes to see
The poetic flowetry, carries me
and speaks to me
the notes capture my inner
disturbance and desires
until the soundtrack of my day
takes me into Summers night
thoughts of my dreams
of being a published poet
clearly float
into my sight
Then, I sit
as I place my pen
upon the paper
black and white turn to one
and my soul bleeds
onto pages
into an early sun

Heart of Fire

As I sit in front of these black and white keys,
I can't find the right tune to flow with my breeze..
I stare out the window, over the trees and past
the sky of mine..
Searching for a word and note that can capture
my feelings in a rhyme..
Sometimes a world away or a mile, but still out of
reach to hold..
Then my fingers move and a thought comes out
with a melody not yet sold..
A song of peace, a song of desire..
That builds in my mind and a heart of fire..

Night Poem

It waits...
A prickle about to lodge
In the heart of a Mighty Light

Above the low-dipped setting sun
The Knightly Night prepares to come

To lift me like a rising fog
Up to greet the countless stars -
That twinkle at a Sun's descent.

The horizon painted with lullaby
Of colours and their somber tune
Day's bed is laid behind blue mountains
And quietly it goes to sleep.

Inside the womb of a Sleeping Day
Begins a fierce protest
of dreaming thoughts
Now stirred awake.

Then out of the thick and cluster
And whatever dangers of flight await
Newborn wings of thought emerge
And rise and rise and rise
Captured by the winds of Night -
Arisen

To wander heights
To kiss the skies
To dance to the gentle humming
Of spirit drums -
Wings beating
A duet with the breeze.

So when day comes breaking through
Dawn is greeted by what was writ
At the festival of it's eve.

With merriment's ink:
A Kiss;
A dance;
A song etched deep:
Art carved out of sky.

High Hopes

Before we implode or reach cluster one
What do you want from me, as you humans dry run
We are Poles apart in what you and I do
Marooned you will be, if you don't turn to be true

I am only but a sphere, but your wearing the inside out
Our futures lost for words as we enter life's drought
There is time for dialogue to take it back
Will it be a great day for freedom, or will we enter our black

Around the table of powers we have to keep talking
We had high hopes when we stooped, we may cease to stop walking
It beggars belief that we are heading into strife
Maybe one day we'll acknowledge, that were coming back to life

BEFORE SPRING CAME

Before spring came, in late February
to the blooming and jolly hills
I ran, breathing heavily and frantically,
touching the perfumed blossoms
of a solitary, old cherry tree;
and underneath it I sat writing poetry
that hadn't a perfect rhyme and beat!
Weren't my skills marred by imperfections?

Canaries and red-breasted robins
flew down and rested on my outstretched legs;
perusing my lines to spot their names,
and when they did, they flapped their wings in gladness!
I could have imagined their joyful words,.
if only they had acquired the gift of speech,
and deeper in their thoughts I would have reached:
to dispel the myth that they had no feelings...

After my short poem was completed,
I reached for my harmonica to play my favorite classic tune;
and being surprised by the paleness of the fading moon,
I dedicated that happy melody to her not to let her despair:
by waving my hand to make her farewell less sad, while I whispered,
" Silent moon, eternal companion of every poet,
what's beyond the realm of this universe?...
Tell us more of those invisible suns and planets! "

Before spring came to the dormant valley,
the mountains' peaks allowed the sun to melt their snows,
to create gushing torrents to feed its water to the dry and cracked soil,
which needed rain instead of harmful frost;
and I drank the freshest water and washed my sweaty face,
while fighting off the bees' stubborn rivalry!
That spring has come again to dress herself with incredible splendor,
and this discontent and wishful heart desires nothing more than being there!

My theme is: Happiness In Childhood

Trudy, Trudy you'll soon be you

Trudy, Trudy
No more tears
Headphones on
Dis quell those fears

Sing your heart out
Sing it strong
Write your lines
Post, where you belong

So much sadness
In so many writers
Again write your lines
We are poetry's fighters

Armed with pen
On computer sheets
On Word applications
It looks so neat

The Musician-Poet

there is, indeed,a relationship
between music and poetry
creation! expression! release of things inside
If I had experienced neither, when I had died
And had to value the worth of my life,
And rate the influence my existence generated
for the general good, I'd be shy
How can I explain my worth, after I did die..

On this point I'd be proud,
Cause somehow I was so lucky,
To experience the joy of both
and did my best to leave a small mark
of my thoughts upon the earth
If but one word, one song,
one counterpoint jam, one painting
that I had done,
had meant something
to someone, than in this regard,
I have won!

Concierto

From downstairs comes an overload
of lies and suppositions
out of Washington. I shut the door
and open up a book of poems
that chip and twitter like hard-
luck sparrows. And underneath
that harmonic line, I tune
in Rodrigo, who plaints guitar
to sing of places no gentler
by the blood that bears us, lung
to brain and hungers. And yet,
more beautiful than this evening’s
news, an elegy of strings.

II.

"Good sir, for playing the piano I thank thee."
"But for you I did not play, but me."
"That not matters, only you were here."
"I just wanted to play, why is this so dear?"
"I could not write, the atmosphere was dull."
"Perhaps my deep melodies helped ignite the soul."
"From your great sing a poem came to life."
"Thank you friend, for us musicians go through much strife."
"But I play not music, but write verse."
"It's the harmonies inside that cause us the curse."
"I thank thee again sir, you've taught me more new."
"That I did not, it was always in you."

Behind these eyes

You see my face and you see my expression but you don't know the real me that i'm
protecting.

You don't know that behind these eyes that a little girl cries every night, you
don't know the half so why are you desperately trying to label me with some brand that I
would never wear.

If you'd look a little deeper into these pearly browns you know that I am not just a
cover you have to take time to read the book to really know me.

You can't just skim the back or listen to what other people say because yeah I might
be talked about but unless you dip into the pudding you will never truly know why.

Maybe if you looked a little deeper you'd see someone trying to keep up in a endless
race.

I keep on moving but it's never any good I guess I underestimate myself or maybe I
just need someone to give me courage.

I see the surprised look on your face and all I can do is laugh, I bet you didn't
think that I had so much depth, I better you never realized.

So even if it's not me your interested in, please let me teach you one lesson. You
can see some much more behind the eyes of a girl than the cloud of makeup hiding her
face.

In a girls eyes you can see her insides, her deepest fears, her insecurities.

Behind these eyes is the magical side, and if you can look into them first then I know
that your confident and well worth the struggle.

Generic Minds

generic minds listen to generic music
have generic thoughts that are unknowingly abusive
watch generic things talk about generic things
gee this generic *****is spreading like a disease
better get your flu shot
thats what they said to me
a suicidal vaccine
a subliminal killing spree
its contagious and the outrageous
thing about it is that the people are blind in an eye
that they didn't even know they had
it's sickening to watch these clueless civilians
inside the looking glass
with nightmares of being free
without a key to their mind
for it is trapped in the frequency
in the illusion of time
bathed in our universe
killing all that refuse to see
those that admit to hypocracy
or see the message in hip hop
how cant you see
the message in the lyrics that
bring adolescents to their knees
from bullet wounds conflicting their flesh
contradicting that they're the best
but the songs keep telling them that they dont need no rest
that they dont wanna go home
that they should ride alone
with the gat as their only companion
and so the only path they choose is the one that they're told
until they grow old and hope turns to a window pane
inside a window pane, until all they feel is pain
they realize that the music itself is ashamed
so whats to look up to
when you cant even speak when you cant even walk because you look so bleak
your eyes are sunken from the tv you're infested with the dee zees
now its too late to turn around and live for your conscious
so when youre screaming oh please
close your eyes and bring your mind to life
open your eyes for the first time
and never wonder why
since the answer this entire time
has been inside
and you better find it before you die
you dont want your soul to be in a pool with all the others
a buncha brothers missing their mothers
but only seeing strangers
only feeling the haters
wishing they would have used their minds when they had them
and now its too late,
now it's time for another new born fate to grab them

Blind I Walk With Only Sound

Blind, I walk tap tap
to find my way, rap echo.
Sing song carry me
home to you, bring it home tap
straight to my heart so I hear.

When I see the beat
boomerang back rap to me
I know your sound space
I know the song of your sense
I hear the cry of your dream

The echoes build loud
Add fluid to the white space
Thoughts of listeners
Adding additional beat
Making new heart, soul, song, sound

One by one you come
One by one you come online
Choir adding rhythm rip
choir adding some filigree
add understanding to world

What the rap you make
What the taps you spell out loud
Becomes an image
Shared by all who listen, sing
Wonderful sound, our heartbeat.

Amidst Celestial Dark

Billy my brother drifts on a plain
In my mind I still feel his hurting pain
I still see you Billy, seeing me cry
Dad it looks like Billy, he's saying goodbye

He tell me of places that no one has seen
Amidst the celestial dark amongst it's diamond screen
Where no one can sail against the luff
I still see you Billy, why has life been so tough

Billy my brother what would I see
Smiles on our faces once again when we are annealed
Still inside I cry and the reasons why
Billy your gone now, but your so nearby

Billy my brother what would I see
Smiles on our faces once again when we are annealed
Still inside I cry and the reasons why
Billy your gone now, but your so nearby

Billy my brother drifts on a plain
In my mind I still feel his hurting pain
I still see you Billy, seeing me cry
Dad it looks like Billy, he's saying goodbye
Dad he's looking down, there's tears in his eyes

Nashville, A Dog Gone Hit,

I left my hometown and didn't much look back,
headed southward bound in my Cowboy Cadillac,
arrived at this store to grab me some snacks,
Yea, they're right about this town, of how it really attracks,

Yea, here in the town called Nashville, where the Grand Ole Opry's on TV,
They say it's the real deal, where upcoming singers need to be,
but I don't do much singing, 'cause the hound dogs howl at me,
though I sure hope it's worth bringing, my songs, for some to see,

I've got them on the internet, downloading them is free,
I haven't had any right connections yet, but I'm hoping patiently,
gonna find me country singer, try to pitch them a dog gone hit,
like pitching a horseshoe ringer, you know you just can't quit,

Yea, here in the town of Nashville, where the Grand Ole Opry's on TV,
they say it's the real deal, where even writers need to be,
no, I don't do much singing, 'cause the hound dogs howl at me,
but I sure hope it's well worth bringing, my songs, for some to see,

Yea, here in the town of Nashville, where the Grand Ole Opry's on TV,
they say it's the real deal, where upcoming singers hope patiently,
Got some songs to pitch the singers, like me, they just can't quit,
like making a horseshoe ringer, knowing one of them could hit,

I've got them at Poetry Soup, where printing them is free,
log on in, enjoy the view, it's finger friendly as can be,
become a welcomed member, without any sort of fee,
no matter what's your gender, or your nationality,

Yea, here in the town of Nashville, where the Grand Ole Opry's on TV,
they say it's the real deal, where upcoming singers need to be,
Gonna find me a country singer, try to pitch them a dog gone hit,
like throwing a horseshoe ringer, knowing you just can't quit,

Yea, I left my hometown and didn't much look back,
headed southward bound in my Cowboy Cadillac,
arrived at this store to grab me some snacks,
Yea, they're right about this town, of how it really attracks.

LOOK AT THEM

Look at them, all lonely people
Soaking your words in churned ripple
For in dreams are born, a spiked fire;
Twisting on strings plucked by your pyre
And lines croon, rising breath’s whistle.

Spilled notes creep and rouse life’s riddle
Let it be, verse gropes in vigil
Guitars strumming peace on live wire,
Look at them.

To us you say, make life trickle
Your hands moan for visions fickle;
Telling the world love’s not for hire.
As fused pair, melodies conspire
To ignite true bliss’ desire,
Look at them.

wordplay

oh I've been caught in the rhyming swirl of a rhythmic beat and a dancing curl
That gets my toe to tapping time as fingers snap and the music's fine and at other times I've heard and tried to
word can I be should I be all that I want to be am I then trapped with a hand and pen such are the notes
that linger and hold onto my thoughts as the coffee gets cold writing in rhythm and trying to rhyme with a
muse that is laughing as I'm beating time

The Poetic Blues

I think I self-sabotage unknowingly
because of fear
So my message goes unheard because I’m afraid to let the people hear
And end up drowning in the poetic blues
doubting my ability to write about the truth;

I dug deeper and deeper into myself trying to write a poem good enough to be free of judgment
Then I stepped out on faith and suddenly I was triumphant
and my writing grew
and I was loving it
I had finally passed the fear of speaking and caring about who the fu*c! was judging it

As I wait to be inspired for the next poem,
I sit and think alone and drown in my sorrows
Listening to jazz, blues and a.m. radio
trying to find an excuse not to perform at the SLAM
because again I can’t think of a damn thing to write…..
Drowning in poetic blues
Will this be the one that will be thrown away and never be used

Or will this be the one that transcends the others
and finally prove that poetry is blues and blues is poetry and hip hop and jazz and r&b,
Poetry is music and the words dance around in my soul
and I am free once they become spoken
In the meantime the paper is where the words will rest
until the silence is broken

Drowning in the sea of proper delivery
My voice, my stance, my intensity
How will others interpret the words that I’ve chosen so diligently?
I wrap my soul around the possibility that none of the words I choose –
will keep me from becoming deluged and trapped by the poetic blues

Somehow my heart refuses to accept that I don’t deserve to have my words heard
and it takes over this whole process
No more time for shrinking and feeling less
I was born to make my words manifest light
I am a gorgeous medium to the truth yeah that's right
I was sent here to give you a piece of good news
Remember that God is with you when you get
The poetic blues

Coloring Music With A Pen

An artist can paint a scene with colors so abstract...
A musician can create sounds that flow from front to back...
But a poet can play with words and form images
that each set of eyes can draw from...
A simple phrase that shouts to one ear can easily
                                                         hum to another one...
When you look at a painting you can write what
                                                            you see or feel...
As when you play a tune you can scribble words
that will make it alive and real...
My instrument is my pen and my blank sheet is
                                                                    my canvas...
Together I write from dreams all so precious...

My Rock n Roll Party - In Memory of Mr Tom Bell - Poet

"Roll on tonight my mates are coming round For a few cold beers and some rocking sounds Time is drawing near, as I hear a knock at the door Blimey! at this time of the night, a vacuum salesmen stands before" "Hey pal make it quick, I have a party to host Tell me your pitch, now disappear your a ghost The best place for them is in the lunar craters Sucking on Listerine soaked tissues, singing, "see you later alligator" "Another knock on the door, and I'm pleasantly surprised All my intended buddies on my doorstep, the parties arrived For a night of drifting, ending with earache and pain Entering wormholes of insomnia, no pain no gain" "Our party is going to be like a cool Rock 'n' Roll gig Beers flowing a plenty, this ain't no highland jig We start with Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention Best friends and myself, our schooldays convention" "This is no wine and dine as Dire Straits play The "Sultans of Swing" sounds excellent any day Next we play Deep Purple, listening to Jon Lord's Hammond sounds Music is our medicine in six speaker surround" "In between sounds to the kitchen we head Tid-bits and more beers to keep our gig well fed We sample some Grunge Metal listening to Nuclear Waste But once again Classic Rocks rules, as Grunge is not our taste" "For the next couple of ours it's like The Monsters of Rock AC/DC and UFO, the Rock never stops We air guitar to "Whole Lotta Rosie" Wearing spandex boxer shorts, one of us drumming like Cozy" "We all awake in the morning, some with sore heads But it was never a night that we were ever going to dread It was a bunch of guys who met whilst at school Who released their friendly energy, like fools but really cool" "Tom, I never knew you, but I thank Catie for this Writing this poem, just fills me with bliss I know you will be busy, but if you happen to look down Give our convention a shout, join our Rock n Roll clowns" My tribute to Mr Tom Bell, so many people spoke about him. Reading what they said, I only wish I knew him.

Phantom

i don't wanna sit here
in the garden, without you
i don't want to be here
falling apart, waiting for you
cause i'm sick and tired
of existing here, without you dear
hanging onto nothing, hoping for something

we're not adam and eve
oh why can't you see
how much i need you
so hard to believe
yet cannot conceive
how much i love you
i won't say sorry
doesn't mean a damn thing
cause you don't love me
we can never be

i'm not gonna stand here
all evening, without a clue
i'm not gonna be here
sweetheart, bleeding just for you
cause i'm sick and tired
of burning here, without you dear
hanging onto nothing, hoping for something

we're not adam and eve
oh why can't you see
how much i need you
so hard to believe
yet cannot conceive
how much i love you
i won't say sorry
doesn't mean a damn thing
cause you don't love me
we can never be

you're not adam,
more like the snake
you're the phantom,
that haunts me
you can't be adam
more like the snake
you're the phantom,
ripping my heart away

we're not adam and eve
oh why can't you see
how much i need you
so hard to believe
yet cannot conceive
how much i love you
i won't say sorry
doesn't mean a damn thing
cause you don't love me
we can never be

Never Gonna Stop

I'm lost, in empty hallways, with no way to go,
I'm endangered, and my legacy lives through the way that I flow,
But I'm not intimidated, the more you tell me to stop, the faster I'll go,
My heart has frozen over, so no emotion is what I'll show

If the streets were as deep as the ocean, then I would drown in disgrace,
My words, are the Titanic, breaking the structure, of my paper and drowning my sorrow away,
I'm not dreaming, I'm succeeding, because reality is fake,
And the future is getting closer, I taste of it everyday

I live for the feeling, that I get when I got my hand on a pen,
And all the pent up thoughts, are released when I leak the ink that's within,
But through all the rythm and the beats, that I hear all the time,
Nothing beats the feeling when I expose through a ryhme

So I'm gonna put together syllables until my brain goes dead,
Or until I'm riding in a hearse because of the things I said,
I'm gonna climb this mountain, nothing can make me stop,
because the reality of it is, my resting place is at the top

The Song Of David

Enlighten days have past
He comes excel in all, so he thinks
"I am greater than man,
I know what ignorant man does not.
Come to me for knowledge unsurpassed!".
He points to the blue heaven,
"Where is thy wisdom? For I know all.
Where is thy command? That makes the ground shake
And brings forth water that lives?"

At the great gatherings,
He flocks the shepherds, blind, mute and deaf
He answers to the multitude of questions
He asked the shepherds, "but what are thy questions?",
“I know not what do ask a man of your wisdom, but what is a dream?
What is life?” asked the young herdsman.
"I know not what you speak of", said the Man.
"I only know what i can feel, touch and see"

"A dream is dream that passes us by, like gentle breeze of fresh spring.
Life holds all things mystery and doubts.
Shepherd knows to flock, not life or dreams".
"The shepherds are those who are humble, noble one", said the herdsman
"The blind cannot see, the mute cannot speak and the deaf cannot hear".
"Who are you preaching to? Silent and amaze, the man looks on.

"If the blind could see you,
They would say, 'look here is the man who tried to humble the blind
For they can see what others cannot,
If the mute could speak, they would humble you!
And if the deaf could hear they would shamed your wisdom".
"Was I a fool?" said the Man "or are you not that young herdsman?
Who knows nothing of life and passes his days tending the sheep's?
What could you learn from such simpleton life?"

"Life I live is simple indeed,
No one knows that the shepherds are those who protects the weak"
"Nature is a friend of the shepherd; we sing the song of David
And rubs the olive oil to our young sheep, to keep away the flies".
Insulted, the man's fury turns over to the young herdsman
"Nature? Protect the weak? The song of David? Flies?
How can nature befriend a lonely shepherd? Protect who?
Song of David the Shepherd who became the king?
What flies would harm the young flocks?"

The young herdsman smiled at the frown face of the man,
Left without a word
The blind, the mute and deaf ignored the man.
An unyielding shame kept the man humbled
He wonders why the young herdsman smiled about.
He came about a bridge and crossed the rocky roads
On the hill top he stood
And saw the young herdsman singing the Song of David.

My Thing

Writing is my thing. My drug of choice. My bling bling.
I fall in love with the similies and mentions of passion while wrapping my body in
sentences.
Creating complicated rhythms and making them simples as instances
Every line a differenet emphasis
Commas, explinations and periods
Sometimes rhyming and sometimes not
Stopping to puff so my thoughts can lock
Feeding hungry souls starved from starvation
Creating new creations
Making people feel the sensation as I build up to mind elevation

The quest for knowledge is not a game
Spoken movements teach about the pain
I write to ease the pain
Rhythms run deep

Deep underneath clouded visions of unspoken truth lies a message
a message...a message that should be taught accurately to the youth
About the struggle of a people that was misued
abused, refused, confused, raped, beaten down
uneducated
portrayed as clowns, coons, niggers, fools
Modern day niggas and goons
Wake up!! Did you hear the news?
You are responsible for you!
Imagine how it would be tho
If we were uninterrupted and brought overseas yo
Uprooted from a line of royalty kings and queens
Africa unite is all we'd sing
Rhythms run deeper into the seams of my being

I write to ease the pain of the oppressed
I write to celebrate their success
I write to educate the rest
The message..The message..The message is very clear
No time time to waste
The time is NOW
It's here!

It's Time I was Moving On

Sad news today, February 6th in our year 2011
To "The Great Gig in the Sky" sell out in Heaven

My favourite blues rock guitarist, Mr Irish Gary Moore
Joins the "Midnight Blues, "Too Tired" no more will he tour

At fourteen years of age he received his first guitar
Like many budding rockers aspirations to be a rock star

The Beatles, Elvis Presley and the amazing Albert King
Heavily influenced this left hander, who made his right hand sing

As he grew past his teens, the genre he'd enter would mean
The likes of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and Hendrix, now he's seen

Blues Rock it was to be, when Peter Green caught his ear
If you grew up with this maestro, you'll know his career

It started way back, way back in 1969
Skid Row, from Dublin he joined, as the music industry would find

This is where his association began, with Lynott, bassist extraordinaire
Many nights sharing the blues, this two Irishmen would share

His solo career just grew and grew, then into Thin Lizzy he would blend
Sharing the Black Rose stage with Phil his Irish friend

The blues became his life, with two Albert's who'd share his stage
Guesting with his 'Midnight Blues Band' many a jam they would engage

I now close my humble tribute, for he'll always be in my heart
On this day in Estepona, Spain, my hero in final depart

THE SAME BLUE COLLAR GUY

The work I do is not the most prestigious one,
from four to twelve thirty I drive...until my shift is done;
a forklift driver rarely takes a coffee-break,
and being courteous and helpful to customers means a lot.

My long-life dream was to be a songwriter like Andrew Lloyd Webber, but my songs
didn't click...they never made the Top Ten on the Billboard Charts;
and although they didn't sell well to make it my profession, I still hold my thumb up...
that if a famous recording artist performed them, I'd have a huge hit!

My free time is devoted to creating lyrics that I will set to music in late hours;
and I would never be a Mozart, Verdi, or Beethoven if didn't knock on doors
and expose my works to those who would be willing to listen without reluctance...
could one be old and succeed as the young ones with fresher, brighter ideas?

For now, I remain the same blue collar guy coloring more illusive dreams;
many approach me and say," Don't give up...you have plenty of chances!".
I do want to believe that and wear the deserved crown and be lauded as others...
'till my lucky day comes, I must make a living and have the faith of the achievers.

MidNight Wishes

Even though i did not hear your voice tonight i'm still ahit,
I will go on like this for ever, i wont go out without a fight.
I'll fight till the end of this life to win your heart,
All you have to do is tell me when to start.

The music blarrin in my head phones at 1:52 AM and i'm lovin it,
cause it helps me remember your gorgeous smile like it was meant to fit.
Wanting to feel your touch and kisses all over me ignites the fire in me,
Wanting to take you by your hand and run wild in a big sea.

There aint much i can say to express myself but this will have to do for tonight,
I think its just that i haven't reached height.
You no I love you and that's all that matters or will ever matter to me,
I will love you till i die, like I told you before, cant you see?

Still My Mind

With my brush in hand I stroked
a line across my screen...
The letters were colored with bright
emotions that sit so serene...
And now today there are musical sounds
that ride up and down my words in tune...
Its the construction of a painting with poetic
lines and song to follow soon...
A paper canvas is a playground to create and unwind...
Whether on the ivory keys or across the strings
my favorite instument is still my mind...

Lines To Music

Note the difference
in tone
a song, a poem
the flute denotes
subtle sway
the piano plays
and the harpsichord.
Cymbals clean
and sweet.
Note the joyous mood
and the dancing fools
the children’s laughter.
Note the change
as the magicians rearrange
the cord, the bridge
the end.
Note.

THE BOY'S PASSION FOR MUSIC

He lived when Elvis, the Beatles, Johnny Cash and the Rolling Stones
had strings of hits and he passionately hummed those up-beat songs...
dreaming of becoming as successful and famous as they were;
and following his dream, he turned into a big country singer!

Everywhere he went, he carried a heavy transistor radio
and listened to them and learned those country and rock lyrics...
and the longer he sung them, the more he fed his ego,
so he wrote words without music, hoping to create melodies!.

Sitting at the piano as Beethoven did, he frantically played those keys,
blending them with easiest chords; and if they sounded awkward to him,
he would certainly use another chord that was simpler and more harmonic...
so the boy's passion for music grew as he planned to hit many unknown roads!

Up North, people called country stars: hillbillies with nasal, funny voices
and such names like rednecks caught on; one would be surprised by their remarks,
or at how they unfairly they were discriminated...and they were all proud Americans!
But the boy's passion for music took him to unimaginable heights and riches!

Keep Me Awake At Night

i never thought i would say
these words are so true
but the fact still remains
i'm so in love with you

i keep thinking about
when my world is nothing
you take away the grey
with all the things you say
and baby my heart will stay the same
i promise, ohh yeah
you keep me awake at night

so as long as it keeps pounding
your words will keep on reminding
me of your love, while they keep on lying
and i know no matter what they say
i'll be yours forever and ever
as long as you want me too

i never thought i would say
these words are so true
but the fact still remains
im so in love with you

i keep thinking about
when my world is nothing
you take away the grey
with all the things you say
and baby my heart will stay the same
i promise, ohh yeah
you keep me awake at night

boys and girls sometimes
say things that are so fake
but baby when you speak
your words i'll never throw away

so let's kiss
just one last time
before you leave
i want your lips on mine
and i'll always remember
ohhh, hell yeah
you keep me awake at night

i never thought i would say
these words are so true
but the fact still remains
im so in love with you

i keep thinking about
when my world is nothing
you take away the grey
with all the things you say
and baby my heart will stay the same
i promise, ohh hell yeah
you keep me awake at night

Better Than Grace

how can we pretend that everything is okay
when the world is soon to turn to grey
I've took this life and its treasures in vane
when you'd easily trade with me any day

you're amazing better than grace
so amazing just can't turn the page
amazing can't find the strength
to gaze at your face and not look away
look what we've done, coming undone
slowly fading away, so amazing
better than grace

you say they gave you less than six months
never thought it could hurt this much
I'd give anything just to save you
oh what can i do, just say because

you're amazing better than grace
so amazing just can't turn the page
amazing can't find the strength
to gaze at your face and not look away
look what we've done, coming undone
slowly fading away, so amazing
better than grace

with every breath we take, just another test today
don't walk away before it's too late
we should all be ashamed of ourselves because

he's amazing better than grace
so amazing just can't turn the page
amazing can't find the strength
to gaze at your face and not look away
look what we've done, coming undone
slowly fading away, so amazing
better than grace

The Song

When does a poem become a song?
Does the music make it real?
A melody makes us sing along
But the words are from the quill

Without the words the music's blind
It can't see where to go
For the words are how a song's defined
And the music's just for show

Wrapped in notes and chords to tease
It's meant to entertain
But it always takes the words to please
Or the music's played in vain

The words are there to touch the heart
Or the music might be missed
For it only plays a minute part
If the words did not exist

Some has said that poetry's dead
But they couldn't be more wrong
For the poet sees the music's fed
Or there couldn't be a song

Note: This will be my last poem I post for a while...it's time to move on to other things.....Whisk

Chapters

Our lives are like stories
Like the ones found in books
We all play our part in the plot
But you were a bit more than just a character
Babe, you were a chapter

Chapters begin and end so quickly
So fleeting, like the way we would flirt
A heart-pounding beginning with a dry, cold close

I'm saying good bye
This is for every time I could have cried
This is for every night that you forgot I exist
But I haven't shed a tear on you and, boy, I'm not gonna try
This is for every single mean thing you say
This is me deciding not to pretend I'm looking the other way
This is something I'm doing for me
So good bye, cause no longer will I be the girl who is blind

The chapter has sealed itself shut
So sit in your room and play some mean songs about me
I don't care, I know somebody with nicer hair

As a kid you must have been the bully on the playground
I'm done being the girl you give affection to and push down
And I'm tired of standing on the sidelines while you try to run the show
I'm gonna move on with my life
Prove there are things you will never know
There are things that books can't tell you
Things only the heart can understand
You don't have one of those
So, pardon me, if I don't consider you a man

The chapter has ended but I won't shed a tear
The future's too bright for me to look back to darkness

Teenage Love 14: Teen Couples of the 1970s

The 1970s were the grooviest years for all of the teenage lovebirds-turned-married adults.
Young love has still been among all of the then-teen couples since the day disco music was
born. It seems that when two young people (a teen boy-turned-man and a teen
girl-turned-grown woman) first met while attending at summer camp, they were meant to have
been together. And when they met back in either middle school or high school, it was love
at first sight for them. Back in the 1970s, including the year 1975, all teen lovebirds
had gone to the movies at various movie theaters, listened to a lot of music (pop, rock
and roll, rhythm and blues, and disco) gone out to eat, that kinda stuff. Their outfits
were very awesome back in the day, especially when the young boys-turned-men and the young
girls-turned-women had afros and had been wearing bell-bottoms and stuff. What was so
great about young love back in the 1970s was when these two young lovers had always been
serious with each other, especially when they had made a promise not to have ever cheated
on each other with other people, even if this guy was as attractive as he was and this
girl was also as attractive as she was. It looks like love has never taken its tolls on
everyone, not even their mothers and their fathers. This is starting to look like an
episode of "Happy Days," which was a great TV show with Henry Winkler. That was very
interesting. And even when all of the then-teenage lovebirds were still together, all teen
idols were in the Hollywood, California, scene, that included Erin Murphy, Donny Osmond,
and Melissa Sue
Anderson. Young love back in the 1970s was also when "The Brady Bunch" was on the air. And
if this type of young love keeps growing and growing, even before the 22nd century,
there's no telling what beautiful thing might happen next.

Symphony.Agony

no more do I note the time which flies
I only wait for you, my love, my light

will it be you or will it be time
that frees me from this cursed rhyme

my soul cries out to be free, to see
what life brings, you or stronger me

the music floats inside, forever on
a gentle melody, a swan's sweet song

the crescendo rises, leaps on high
the future brings pain or regret's soft sigh

the words rise from the depths, soft, aching
I script best I can, with digits shaking

do I fear the pain or do I hold on
as I write this poem, this song

April too lenient

comatose commas thought April too lenient;
birth was postponed until June,
provided preference for instant coffee
or selfless gratification,
minus the flack fouled narcolepsy,
however insistent …

cruelty followed,
as cardboard mansions collapsed under oath,
if under cardiac-arrest,
below if not adjacent to, the end,
regardless of means…

Slide

I let my voice resonate
"Aaaaaaaahhhhh!!!"
Music....soothing
so softly
feathers caressing me
like notes on a keyboard
I soar high
"Aaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!"
strumming me
sweetly I glide
from side to side
as my ears move my feet
"Pa da pa pa paaa!!!"
delicate words
needed to be heard
"Hmmmmmm....."

Thoughts of A Song Writer

From my thoughts on the paper in which it lies,
My everlasting passion is inked as it dries.
The way I feel inside, you might want to spy,
But if you pry, how will my lyrics surprise?
A song for thought will only leave a thought.
May sound difficult, but that’s just how I talk.
I was lost, but I found me.
Dreaming and believing that writing was my key.
The way it flows and the way that it goes pumps me to speak
the very thoughts that many minds chose to keep.
Many rocks I’ve kicked and many decisions I’ve made.
Any wrongs I take the blame.
Tic-tac-toe is only a game.
I plagiarize your eyes with the notes that I’ve taken,
A high note here and a low note there-
You’d swear I’m in your head when my song hits your ear.
Pain recognizes pain
And I’ve have my share of bandages.
My vibes from life heals the permanent damages.
Thoughts of a Songwriter,
Reaches farther beyond the beat,
Over the lyrics on the sheet,
Not only is it about the speech,
But more of what the message seeks.
True enough a theme is touched and a heart is rushed.
With the mind-throbbing picture disappearing
Through the ink of my pen and revealed through your lens,
You can’t hear me, but do you feel me?
I cherish my talent and where it could possibly sweep me.
My doubts and my worries are beneath me.
I love for brighter days and pray for more things to pave.
Call my life my number because its infinite.
Thoughts of a Songwriter,
My mentality drips it.

A POETIC WOMAN

The essence of a true Empress unveil
The words that cometh out her mouth
Words of wisdom's sacred grail
Words that free the struggle
Breaking mental chains
Flows through her veins

Her words are so powerful
It encamp or rather en-gulf
Our burning desire
For knowledge and spiritual fire
Her mind is her womb
Nurturing, stimulating strumming her tune
People be-mooned
Stand up and listen
Feed from her spoon
Depth and mindless shallow
The power of her message speedily follow
The peaceful revolution stand
That which is of a poetic woman

Teenage Love 12: Teenage Lovers of the 1950s

It was the 1950s and all teen lovebirds back in the day were the greatest couples in
America. These people were way before all people who were born in the 1980s were born,
even me. It seems that both teen lovebirds (a teen boy-turned elderly man and a teen
girl-turned elderly woman) fell completely in love with each other when they were in
middle school or high school, even when doo-wop music and rock and roll music were born.
It looks like all of the then-teenage lovebirds had a great time back in the day. In
reference to teen couples dating back in the 1950s (including the year 1954), they went to
a drive-in movie, ate at a diner, they went to see a full moon in classic cars, that kinda
stuff. These dates were way before the first cell phone was invented, MTV made its TV
channel debut, and before computers were invented. On top of all that, both of the
then-young lovebirds used to listen to their favorite love songs, like, "Baby, Baby" by
Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, "Can't Help Falling In Love" by the late Elvis Presley,
Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis, and "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" by the Four
Seasons and the Shirelles. Their parents were happy that their teens were dating back in
the day, especially when their parents (the mothers and the fathers) back in the 1950s
found out that they were dating. And now that they're not teenagers anymore and even if
they stay together as a married couple, they'll tell their grandchildren about the day
these two lovebirds have met and fell completely in love.

Jill Scott

"Love rain down on me..."
she bellows sweetly
I drink her soul through
the sounds
Letting me into her universe
dripping with love, food, imagery
a beautiful symphony of words
"Slowly, surely, I walked away from..."
the thought of turning my cd off
Jazz seeping through my pores
melting me like chocolate in hand
'I understand what you sayin' girl!!!'
Moving feet with every beat
"Love rain down on me..."

Author's Note: Some of the words in this piece are from actual songs. Jill Scott
has been a tremendous influence in my poetry. Her music and words are
constant companions. Much respect to her.

MY TREASURE BENEATH THE TIDES

The murky rolling waves subject
to the whims of the February's wind,
far above the secluded lighthouse;
the roaming aircrafts vanish through thick clouds,
leaving behind a trail of hazardous vapors...
but the geese and seagulls can't continue their existence!

And still the sea offers them its promise,
a distant shore untouched by man...
by his greedy ways and incompassion,
causing the extinction of many species;
my reflection is based on fact :
we can't survive without them!

The stylish wild birds engage,
as if striken by a sudden rage,
in their frantic, daily dance over the marina,
as I listen the melancholic lyrics of " Nessun Dorma "...
the exquisite area of Puccini,
which comes alive through the extraordinary voice of Bocelli!

At four the fog thickens and shrouds the shoreline,
the brass lampposts light up with reluctance...
to shy away the presence of any ghost;
I, in transitive joy, hide my treasure beneath the tides,
hoping someone will find it and remember my work...
long after my thoughts will be no longer alive!

Stomped-up dust storm

I

Got crazy –

Touch of the Soul

I alone stand vigil over the memories of my past;
I alone feel the weight of them,
feel what it is to be
the man that past has created.

I stand, alone, beneath the stars and the moon,
contemplating all, as I ever have done;
it is only now that I've accepted
that's who I am meant to be;
the writer, the poet –
I stand with the rest of the dreamers.

I sit, alone, among the instruments of music,
playing on and on throughout my life;
music flows into and through my soul,
and I am now and will always be,
the musician and the bard –
I sit with the rest of the drummers.

I travel, alone, with the remembrances of love,
searching always for that one true other;
it is only now that I've accepted that even
without one such, I can live;
the romantic, the sentimental –
I travel with the rest of the passionate.

I escape, alone, in the pages of a good story,
reading for ever and anon;
books speak to me, engage me,
entertain me, release me;
the storyteller and the listener –
I escape with the rest of the readers.

I will fight, never alone, next to my brothers
and sisters in arms;
it is with all of myself that I've accepted
my duty, and who I will always be;
the soldier, the guardian –
I will fight with the rest of the Marines.

I dance, run, walk, laugh, alone, in the rain,
let loose my being in the deluge;
the storm's fury and glory
somehow become my own;
the drenched, the soaked –
I do all of this with the rest of the rain lovers.

It is only now that I've accepted
that I have become
who I was meant to be;
who I want myself to be.

I alone know what it is to be
myself, Andrew James Sprouse,
scion of the sea and of the past,
of the word and the sword.

But I do not alone know what it is to feel alive;
to be exactly who you are,
who you're meant to be.
I do not alone know the truth of pain.

None of us stands truly and utterly alone.
Every single one of us walks, arm in arm,
with those who share your experiences,
your beliefs, your thoughts and your lives.

But you, alone, know what makes your heart free,
what makes your fire ignite and your essence true;
you alone know the visage and touch of your soul.

Canadian Rock Music

Rock music from Canada is as awesome as rock music from the United States. It's like a music festival just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It seems that the Canadian rock stars have outdone themselves, especially when they're entertaining all of their American fans. Out of all Canadian rock stars, five of my favorites are Skye Sweetnam, Fefe Dobson, Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, and Samuel "Sam" Roberts. What's so cool about Canadian rock music is when the drummers and the guitar players are on stage, making a lot of music and stuff. It's also as if all of us American rock music fans are attending a Fefe Dobson concert at an auditorium just outside Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Calgary, Alberta, Canada. when listening to a lot of Canadian rock music, it's like going into a real frenzy and stuff. All rock stars and rock groups from America have helped all Canadian rock stars and rock groups revolutionized the entire scene, especially when Three Days Grace have made a very impression. Why, if Canadian rock music continues to have affect on all of us American rock music fans, that would be very awesome.

the sign painter's song

for Woody Guthrie - born:1912-07-14

brushing up on strokin' guitar strings
twangin' words 'bout work and the land
lyrically political of dust 'n' things
not feared to sing 'n' take a stand

so long, it's been good to know yuh
so long, it's been good to know yuh
so long, it's been good to know yuh
an' he was a driftin' along

totin' six-string Fascist killin' machine
travelin' to the west coast shores of sand
singin' loud across fields gold 'n' green
as families struggle to feed mouth from hand

singin'
so long, it's been good to know yuh
so long, it's been good to know yuh
so long, it's been good to know yuh
Woody sings us America's song

wheat fields waving at ribboned highways
all the way across this beloved homeland
Woody sang songs of promises made sideways
to up 'n' blow away by uncaring command

so long, it's been good to know yuh
so long, been good to know yuh
so long, it's been good to know yuh

To rap critics

You all seem a bit bias and foolish in what you say
a true rapper dream is to change da worlds ways
You may consider this talent forlorn to skill
but it's an equal form of music that you could never kill
you come to your little group and hate artists expression
your i.q. and wisdom must be in a recession
in every lyrist there must be a livin poet
yall's sittin here actin like we can't show it.
and making music ain't about repeatin the past
if thats all you can do your name will never last
as far as write read and play have you seen da machine
it's an art to itself if you'd know if you've ever seen
you sittin in your fourm thankin ignorantly
we don't clown you just spit ours eloquently
If you can't respect art in it's entirety
shut the hell up for peace and serenity

I Really Like Her

Her smile and personality just builds within
but unlike my heart i dont know where to begin.
I wrote her poems and told her things.
I made her smile like no other human being.
Her curly hair and intelligence
made my heart so irrelevant
to the point in which i sat and cried
and sung some lovely lullabies.

Her beauty started our world
with a few men and alot of girls.
I want to scream her name right now
and if i do i will say it loud.
Please believe that i got diss
that girl who talks just wants a kiss
but in the end i will always miss you.

One Love<3

Caught Up In The Rock And Roll Game

Don’t get caught up in the game
Don’t get caught up in the fame
It will drive you insane
It’s only you to blame
When you get caught up in the game*Refrain:

Because you walk through the crowd
They all know your name
The road twists and twists
 With a surprise each turn
Try to stay above it all or you’ll soon learn
That the eyes looking in are hungry for your blood
Don’t mistake it for the love
Cause they all want a piece
Of the music, rhythm, and soul
They love the Rock n Roll
Then there’s the girl who writes the rhymes
Loves the love and soon you’ll find
Her spirit is so real and her sex appeal
I know you feel
The fire that burns from the words she writes to you
It’s a powerful heat that makes your heart feel new
She loves the melody you put in her soul
It warms her heart, it makes her whole
Her spirit soars so high
When you look into her eyes
The fire is so hot between the girl and this rock n roll guy

Don’t get caught up in the game
Don’t get caught up in the fame
It will drive you insane
It’s only you to blame
When you get caught up in the game

Love Songs of the 1970s

All of the then-loving couples have been listening to all of the love songs from the 1970s, including the year 1974. Love has been in the air for all of the people back in the 1970s since the day doo-wop music was born and the British Invasion began back in the 1960s. all of the love songs have been on the radio every day from 1970 to 1979, especially that of "Maggie May" by Rob Stewart, "American Pie" by Don McLean, and other love songs. They were way before I was born, especially that of the mid-late 1980s. Disco was alive when those love songs were on the radio. And when listening to songs performed by artists like David Cassidy, Melanie, Donny Osmond, ABBA, and others back in the 1970s, it's like spending a Saturday night at the Hollywood Hills in Hollywood, California. It's also as if it's prom night 1976 all over again. Paul McCartney is that of an idol for all of the then-teenagers. How interesting was that? I wish all of the now-and-then loving couples knew what their lives were like when they met and fell in love with each other, even by listening to a lot of love songs.

The Sun's Rays

The sun’s devouring rays
Reveals an astounding sensation against the marvelous universe
It caresses the earth with warm hugs and gives life to the motionless gaze
Its auras are above nature’s designating exteriors
Its swaying beauty is beyond Earth’s inhabitants, deserving my praise

It treasures the sky with joyousness and forms swarms of jeering birds
The sighs of the wind attracts clamoring herds

The sun’s appalling flames
Unshackles a zealous tune that reveals the Earth’s accord
It embraces the atmosphere with remarkable claims
Unraveling my curiosity; my ears are pleading to hear more, so I go forward!

It prizes the ocean with eagerness and forms swarms of screeching seagulls
The strength of the waves draws in scorching souls

The sun's unattainable rays
Motivate life to trail on till its duty is done
Its auras seep through the whirling sky and strays
Embracing ambitious love like a father and son

Lost poem

They say every word spoken in the earth
Goes to a celestial bank in heaven
And becomes the music of the spheres
But I have penned words from heart
And here in this electronic room lost them
What of them, the bosons of my brain
What of the Creator's lost in his domain
What of my poem, the poet and the bird
Have sent to spheres with songs unheard
O they are gone like a child not yet born
Gone, grieving the mother's grave-like womb
Did I have a miscarriage too
And when the music swells the sphere, will I
Be honored for my words that came and died
Is there a monument for poets in the sky
Is the wind a fragment of my song, I sighed
O the pain not to teach it with my tongue to sing
Or feel in my breast its fluttering wings
O the injustice of it! A poem is a fetus too
Until its cuddled it is not born, and yet its gone
As if a thing not yet alive could die; dark dawn
Cease! I want my child, O Jairus, to live again
What else shall poertrysoup take from me
In this electronic world of technical tyranny?

Prayer To My Self

Walking away might be the most hardest things for a man to do, you cant even imagine what that feeling can do to you. Falling flat on your face would be better than to look shameful, even walking around naked around the streets would be cool. But like any story in life goes, there is always that one person that will help you get back on your feet and walk again. No matter how much you fall, no matter how much you stumble upon a struggle, that person will be there with you till the end. Give love and thanks to this person who never leaves your side and helps you put a smile on your face everyday. When the day comes to an end and you know that the person has to go, all you can wish is for your special person to stay. Mine has walked away on me, I was so blind that i couldn't see. She wanted everything for her self, for me to change and be what she wanted me to be, but i had to let her go and never see this person again, cause it would only be worse in the end. Writing this is more painful than getting your body tattooed, writing this is more painful than getting over screwed. Writing this is more painful than words, writing this is more painful than razor sharp swords. No matter how much you try to let it out it just wouldn't come out, the pain is way to deep and its almost like its tattooed on your bodies gout. haven't i been hurt enough in this world, i just don't understand why i am being treated like this, is it cause i am better than you and have nothing to look forward too but my blue and black handkerchief? The cut was way to deep my dear, you just cant imagine, i have been cut and bruised for the last time, i can promise you that. No one will ever touch this body or hurt this soul ever again, if you wish to try so, go ahead and check it, but before that go ahead and get yourself a casket.

Star seeding

How many nights awake as thoughts tumble so fast from the heavens that sense just needs to
be made?
Grab the pad always nearby, for when the rains come
and pour your heart out with them.
It’s understated to say inspired,
conversations with clouds,
allowed and understood.
Good. When that thunder rolls you know that flash is going to illuminate a lot.
All you’ve got
is a few minutes to get that down, a word a code a sign.
To remind your mind again.
It’s like that for all of us, but we,
we who have learned to pay attention,
not to mention
that we like it,
we listen. That’s all it is.
Nothing mystic
or fatalistic in it.
We like to dance naked in the rain.
And let that rain wash right through us.
We’re not afraid of lightning, we know it comes from the Earth.
And we’re rooted there. Deep.
So keep
your judgments to yourself about what’s right.
There ain’t no St. Peter checking for baptismal certificates at the Pearly Gate.
And Fate
can be re-written any time by intent.
Well meant
wishes sent to you do good and keep you strong.
So that rain of inspiration won’t burn you up, keep you watered long
After you’ve apologized.
So we let it through in verse, in muse, in story disguised
As truth. Star seedings through us all
Watching as seeds fall
And sprout in the rain
on Earth.

The Other Side

A two pedal flower
growing in a meadow
no one around to watch
the growth of such a wonderful thing

The infinite nature of outer space
A soul left to wander the great world
your first maybe last trip away from home

In the deepest part of my mind
sits the keeper of the world
In the mind of another
sits the darkness we all seek

A shadow which is always with us
We fall on our way to the light
getting further off track
and closer to the darkness

The secret of the womens face on the moon
what does she know that we dont?
the wilderness the other side of the world
i have left to see.

once again i will be one with nature
one with the angels
and one with freedom

come listen to the music

I hear the music of the heavenly angels
Coming softly through the blue sky from above
Blending with the music from on the mountain tops
Bringing to all earth's people messages of love.

The song birds are singing to the angels' music
Telling us to hear the words of truth very clear,
"All of earth's people are more alike than different
And to help each other will leave no room for fear".

Come listen to the music of quiet gentle breezes
And music from wild flowers growing on the hill
Whispering softly to awaken our spirits
Saying, "Only listen and let your hearts be still

Soul in the Horn

I lost myself inside the rhythms last night
Soul roll out these speakers
‘Cuz the boom bap blast right

Too many rappers wanna smash mics
But I cradle notepads
And travel pen strokes like nomads

Fakes just don’t have the gonads
To flow past the old raps
And re-construct the old maps

Perhaps their just scared of change
Unprepared for new age
Impaired vision can’t see the true range

It’s too strange, so much possibility
But it’s all blocked
Unless we stop the hostility

But will it ever happen?
I ask as I look to Her in reverence
Drop a sentence
And continue this petty rappin’

This is repentance,
To all who I wronged
I long to amend, my friend
I’m with You until the end

Not a trend; this is respect over royalty
Not about power
Everything’s rooted in loyalty

So no devil can spoil these
Never foil these philosophies
Nobody is stoppin' these

Or coppin' these in mixtapes
I’m just a mistake
A misplay on Fate
Subject to misplaced hate…

So I shake the weight
Boulder off the shoulders lifted
Breeze lift me like leaves
But I’m floatin’ on clouds, not driftin’

Off into abysses?
Nah, listen
Ascension got me kissin’
These stars that glisten

And I’m wishin’ upon ‘em
To take someone along
Autumn air to carry ‘em up
Another leaf to the song

Rock, rock on
Long-last the legend
From clock’s dawn
To moon’s yawn
This is forever heaven

AUBURN TREES IN FALL

In June everything was festive and green,
a patch of deep blue couldn't be seen...
the struggling sun was kept off, with dire,
by a dense foilage of emerald;
and the robins competed with the blue-jays
to harmonize a new song with notes
that even a great composer couldn't write...
Oh, how I loved that sweet sound!

Auburn trees in Fall showed a dull color
andulated by the softest wind,
which wasn't as perfumed as that of spring,
and its sadness was compensated by a beauty,
which inspired a poet and a composer
to write it with a tender melancholy;
and I jotted down the impressive images
of a peaceful Nature that revealed its loveliness!

The freight trains scurred through the defoliating forest,
I found a massive rock and laid my body to rest;
and finally those struggling sun-rays
broke through to warm my forehead quickly:
so glad to have seen, with awe and curiousity,
the forest's beautiful and swift creatures
storing away food for those gloomy winter's days!...
Oh, how happy I felt to have been the wanderer of the forest!

Teenage Love 13: Teen Couples of the 1960s

When it comes to all teenagers (teen boys and teen girls) falling in love with each other
back in the 1960s, it was a beautiful thing. The 1960s were also the decade when the
British Invasion began, especially when the Beatles had made their way to the American
music scene and the Rolling Stones had made their way to the rock and roll music scene in
Hollywood, California. But before the Civil Rights Act and other laws were in effect, all
public places, including the diners, were segregated before being integrated. It seems
that both of the then-young lovebirds really had a great time, especially when they went
to see a movie and stuff. It was the year 1960 until the year 1969, way before the 1980s
were born, even me. Back in the 1960s, before MTV made its TV channel debut, these two
teen lovebirds had gone out to eat at a diner, they went to a drive-in movie, a school
functioning (including the high school dance), anything these two have done on a Saturday
night. Their favorite love songs of all time when a man and a woman were teenage lovers
were "My Girl" by the Temptations, "Do Wah Diddy" by Manfred Mann, "My Boyfriend's Back"
by the Angels, and "Happy Together" by the Turtles. Even when the "World Peace" slogan
began and Woodstock 1969 became the grooviest music festival among all teen couples, it
was a great time for them. And as for the Flower Children, who were teenagers at the time,
it was also love at first sight for them. But now that the 1960s are gone, it'll be a
groovy decade for all of the then-teenage couples will always remember.

Driving from your house
My thoughts swirl like midnight fog
One more tune unsung

But I was deep in your thoughts
Didn't miss a thing

Part III
Already it's late
I don't feel much like sleeping
Words won't always hold

There’s nothing so suitable as a pen—for expressing pain—
No other instrument has a stint extended as deeply within the vein.
There’s nothing so fit as a laugh to release the pent up fears—
Nothing that can break the mortared cask enough to dry the tears.
There’s nothing so perfect as a song—for escaping misery:
With each rung on the staff, a soul climbs closer to free.

Rock-Contemporary Christian Music

At a church in a suburban community, I see a bunch of people and a trio of
rock/contemporary Christian bands. I'm either a soul trapped in a force field, or a guy
with a free spirit. When I listen to a lot of rock/contemporary Christian music, it's like
a party in my brain. It's also as if I'm going to a rock/contemporary Christian concert in
Arlington, Texas. The only reason why I listen to a lot of rock/contemporary Christian
music is because it's entertaining and inspiring. My favorite artists are P.O.D., Aly &
A.J., Skillet, Delirious?, and other artists. It's the other way to express myself freely
without holding anything back. If I were in a real band and I were good at playing the
guitar as well, then I'd be playing some rock music fused with contemporary Christian
music. It seems that I'd rather be at a church in one of the suburban communities than a
gospel church in an urban community. And if I were to own all rock/contemporary Christian
albums released by all of the artists, like, P.O.D., Skillet, and/or other recording
artists, there's no telling what great thing might happen next. I wonder if there's going
to be more contemporary Christian music and new artists? I guess I'll never know.

Juliette Lewis

Not only is Juliette Lewis an attractive actress, she's also one of the greatest female
rock stars since Mia Zapata. When she's on the stage with her band, all rock/indie rock
fans are really amazed. Juliette's not bad for a female punk-rock artist. She was various
films like "The Basketball Diaries" with Leo DiCaprio, "Strange Days" starring Angela
Basset, and "The Other Sister" with Diane Keaton. If Ms. Lewis isn't acting, she's out
writing songs with her band mates, the Licks and formally the Infidels. Juliette Lewis
is best known for her songs like, "Shelter Your Needs, "Seventh Sign," Get Up," and
"Inside The Cage." She's been like a rebellious rock star since Joan Jett and the
Blackhearts. If Juliette Lewis were to be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in
the near futire, that would be great for her.

SOME WILL KNOW GREATNESS

Our modern world has become
so advanced and sophisticated,
and its technology is at our fingertips;
unlikely yesterday when everything was slow-paced,
now fast-food and credit cards are a convenience...
and poverty is the plight of low-income!

Some will know greatness,
for having made unthinkable strides,
and they will be honored or even immortilized;
and I like to be one of them...simply remembered!
The great minds of the past, like those of today,
struggled to come out of obscurity,
until Popes and wealthy people recognized their genius;
and those names became so glorious!

Each one of us is born with an amazing gift,
and through vocation and inspiration,
it can grow in size and scope...
if it's used with good intention!
Painters choose the colors of their images,
writers create the words of their moods;
sculptors carve out faces with a chisel,
and composers imitate the feelings of the soul!

Some will know greatness,
and though riches may not ever be theirs...
their works are the reflection of themselves,
or of others who made a difference;
we have seen them, admired them
and applauded them with excitement!
And they are as detemined as we are,
fullfilling a mission beyond compare!

Guitar

                                                        It weeps.
                                                          Cries.
At the feeling of one's touch.
                                                                                         The hollering, screaming,
wrecking innocence, in silence.
It once lay awaiting the touch,
awaiting the callused fingertips,
                                                                         crisp
                                             and ready-
                                                                                                for the first strum,
bleeding into a love song,
                                                 silently killing a dove
  and regretting that first encounter.
                                                                     Which turned into obsession,
deep, penetrating breaths, lingering while the wind unfolds the secrets,
                                                                                                 the story within the tune,
 the life throughout the song.
And it never takes a soul for granted,
                                                           it gives
more and more
                                                                                           asking nothing in return,
patiently waiting for one more encounter,
                                                                a master soon to be.

An old motto renewed

woke up this morning
to an epiphany
of how your world works
be the best you can be
the best human 3 coil double flusher you can be
at first i was upset
in denial
that i too could live up to such high standards
how could i ever compete with such human waste
when they practice being a walking talking waste of skin everyday
acting it out
singing it
and making more money just by practicing an old motto renewed

Thats the only power you have over me
to be or not to be
a huge clog in the toilet we know as life
and i could practice it
all day and all night
no point in dancing around it in denial
but that might make me worth something
if i could pull off the feat of unequal measure
and finding someone to label what they really are
and laugh at the fact that they are oblivious to how your world works

Practicing being a total waste of skin
and then blame it on someone else
and hang their dead baby off my neck
but nope i'm better than that
i can be the best 3 coiler double flusher i can be
without any practice
just human nature at this point

Act 1 scene 2
making one person living a lie
look like a good person
as the rest of the play is all about everybody competes for the reward of being a clog in the
toilet we call life
Song and dance
still the same glory
and yet soo many of you basking in your power
of who is or isnt in denial of how your world works
practice makes perfect i guess
no point in trying to change anything
just go dangle someone elses dead baby off your neck

an old motto renewed
be the best double flusher i can be
live it, sing it, paractice it to one day show the world their brand new lie
and next lesson of how to be succesfull at something
that will only come naturaly
why not?

Lost My Damn Headphones

Ears being tortured
by the feeble music
on the jukebox,
    mind sporadic,
losing my train of thought
         to Madonna.
Ideas mottled
   by conversations
like something gnawing on wood
in my ears.

My horrors
   are hidden from me
by the likes of Beyonce’
blaring throughout the place,
     mucking up
my mental pathways.

I usually write in my local bar with my MP3 player on
and as the title suggests I had lost my headphones one night.

Words, Master of

This dark light
A war outbreak
I cannot write
There is a leak

Inside my mind
A lively death
I cannot find
The words are Myth

Where are the words
I call them, they hide
Summoning their accord
They bow and abide

Like vipers they strike
My servants, letters
Turn on me and attack
They disable the better

Oh, how they used to follow
Me the creator, Father
Their leader now hallow
Creates no bother

So now the letters are left
In the ink, a Tomb
The new master, the same man
Is as dark as a bomb

They cry, the letters
Wanting a world, to be fed
To get by, to be better
Not to be in the tomb, Dead

The master cries out at night
For the comfort of the words
A great inner fight
Bitter as gourds

He can’t hold back
He creates a masterpiece
The words flow from his hands
They cannot cease

The Man is reborn
The Master of words
A light on darkness
The letters abide, they bow

Poetry Soup

This is where I come to bleed.
Where I leave my heart for you to read.
So many things in my heart to grieve.
But only one place it can come to relieve.

It's where my friends I've never met,
Yet, in their minds, my feelings I set.
You relate my fears. You see my love,
Even for that of my God high above.
I speak to you of the one I hold dear.
Whenever, for her, I'm shedding a tear.

Poetry and song in the world we fill,
Leaving it with an insurmountable bill.
Though in money and riches we do not bask,
A little of your time is all I ask.
Poetry soup is what soothes my soul.
It makes even the broken feel once again whole.

I write when I'm joyful. I write when I'm lost.
I write when the world has me beaten and tossed.
It's a medicine so potent we cannot perceive.
They're words that can make weak humans believe.

So to you the readers I am ever indebted.
It's a friendship I have not ever regretted.

Love You in These Blues

Eye-socketed light bulb spirit window
Staring
Glint obsidian entering
Rolling reeling mind
Stop looking at me

Scraping nails skin warm sweat
Feeling
Lithe seduction pressing
Revealing ring thing
Stop dancing with me

And can I
Can I
Can I

Can I love you in these blues

Tones chord piano tongue Bose
Speaking
Metallic symphony driving
Maddening weeping strings
Stop listening to me

And will I
Will I
Will I

Will I love you in these blues

May I love you in these blues?

Bard

Oh my friend you sing tonight
to some soul have brought delight
some empty night you may have filled
with happiness the world has killed

to entertain you've taken part
and hoped to lift a heavy heart
but if you hope their heart to lift
priceless truth the only gift

Master musician a story you tell
understanding lies within your spell
weaving the listening upon the ears
the sorrow of their own life's fears

You know not all is as it seems
the world imparts it's own dreams
into your well you have dipped
upon it's wine have listeners sipped

music vibrates it's chords upon the soul
can tear it apart or help make whole
the message that you choose to give
can impart death or light to live

Commune with God upon your bed
the tenderness of love don't leave unsaid
with seduction to gain worldly treasure
and lure mankind to lesser creature

Things you hold within your hands
with instruments tones and word understands
a piper who leads minds on a passage
what should be the call of the message

With the song of the Bard is God concerned
where it leads and what teaching is learned
harken to you do the children of youth
be careful to impart only the truth

A Southern Band, so grandeur
Always professional as they tuned and toured
The Skynyrds, as i grew up with them
Southern gals and Southern men.

Rossington, Medlocke and the famous Van Zants
Straight Southern Rock without a slant
Boogie riffs, and maybe a spliff
But what they produced, was my music wish.

In 77, their world fell apart
This horrific plane crash, did its worst
Cassie, Stevie and Robbie Van Z
The pilots and Dean, died at the scene
Three days after, this title tasker
Ironically titled Street Survivors.

The courage and love
As they moved through the years
Every time i play them
It brings a few tears.

My only wish is too see them live
Absorb their music capture their vibes
Wave their flags, as they do each tour
And wish all their lives to be so pure.

The above words are from who i am
James from Scotland just - A Simple Man

Poetry Is My Artistry

Life is my destiny.
My heart holds mastery over me.

Poetry is my artistry.
My mind is a gallery within me.

Loneliness is my enemy.
My strength a remedy for me.

Music is my ecstasy.
My being is in harmony within me.

Ricky Ricardo kicked my ___

(This is a fictional poem)

I built a time machine and I went back to 1952.
Ricky Ricardo kicked my ___ after he sang Babalu.
I told him that his song sounded like a big piece of crap.
He cussed me out in Spanish and gave me a good slap.
He started beating on me until I hit the floor.
That was over a month ago and I'm still sore.
I had never taken a beating like that before.
I'm not going to travel through time anymore.

Sunset Notes

Notes put to page by mage intent
Attempt at acting sage pro temp
Unheard notes of songs and hymns
Unsung as yet unwrit
Using rythym of rhyming repeating
With rippling echoes reacting
Hanging ten while surfing brainwaves
On the sharpening edge of reason
Activating nodes in thinking patterns
Chiselling in stoned memories
Easily remembered by simple repetition
Pictures registered in singing words
Sunset clouds of changing color
Shaded hues of blue and red
Golden notes of symphonies
Counterpointing purple coastlines
Islands float in cloudy seas
Songs unheard but plainly written
In time to changing winds
Dancing silhouettes of sunlight hung
On shining stems of windblown waves
Of bending blending grasses
So many strings vibrate together
And in minor chord the brass is sung
By a thousand birds on cue
Crickets add a million cymbals
Until curtainfall is due

In Lonely Tears, I Pray

O Lord, to you, I come today;
Fruits of my lips, I bring;
Hymns of praises, to you, I sing;
In lonely tears, I pray.

Yet worthy not I am, I ask
Have mercy on my soul;
Lord, despise not my every call;
‘Tis life, to you, I trust.

O Lord, to you, I come today;
Keep me, from vanity;
For in peace, where I longed to be;
In lonely tears, I pray.

Poetry The Definition

Poetry The Definition
Poetry the Definition
 it is fine
 making words to rhyme

it is like your brain makes
  music
singing bass and melodies
there is no other words to
  describe it
endless parodies of love
you are making music from words?
just trying to get the things to rhyme.
eenie meenie miinie moe
 one word stooge and lo
and behold there were three stooges
 slapsticking and ribtickling pleasure
for a small boy so alive in eyes
wasted time and life is over now i have ewe

  it is fine
just trying to get the words to rhyme.

Psychosis of the muse

such a secret important word
danced around verbally
conditioning you the way they want
for utmost power
if i had it my way
i would have you ring a bell everytime their secret word
tweaks you out

Jeese
I wonder what the secret word is...
everytime i hear it, i cant help but feel this way
crack a smile and drool
and then get bent out of shape

Not like you owe me anything
cause you don't
but alas
i can't help but care
this is affecting me
and i refuse to tell you
your secret word

Dangerous?
does it make me dangerous...
start reading from the dictionary
and i'll show you dangerous

one secret word
they all sing around for the one
whoever the one is
in a world full of number 2's
we're all number 2
to the one

Obliviousness rocks
unfortunately you can't allow yourself
this ignorance
cause you my friend
are brainwashed
but alas
the villified ignorance speaks for itself

quite an oxymoron paradigm shift riddle
i wonder what the word is
I suppose i'll figure it out
cause my life depends on it

momentary hero
i am making you blind
present you with a riddle to make you smarter
but alas
i can only show you the riddle
i wouldn't be able to tell you

one word
such an intricate word
lost in the matrix of mentally conditioning yourself
when you ough to ring a bell

It's gonna happen now
you will have the desire to puirchase a bell
and ring it
a lot
because of this word
whatever it is....

the psychosis of the muse
another part of society blackmailed
and scapegoated
and used as a weapon
cause we are all number 2
to the one

building my case

why you go out of your way to make the world mad
the little power we gave you
walked all over me
and funny you think im the only one you have to answer to
but id start here
id start here if i was you

so many people like me
coming unglued
soo many people tired of you
you dont care
go do your suicide somewhere else
target audience
headless beast on a power trip
sell it to yourself
i have no time for you

Haters
nothing wrong with the haters
they have good reason to hate you
i hate you too
pushed the envelope too far
now there is nothing i can do
not for you

Desperate for control
you teach me the wrong wisdoms
why do i continually sit here and watch and l;isten a bunch of idiots
taking no responsibility for their own bull@#$%
i will be making my case
against each one of you in turn
but what do i know of being obsessed to a sick mind game

one by one
day by day
pointing my finger
calling out the names to bl;ame
wanna dance
the whole world knows
took a stand for all the wrong things
do you even know what you are
your puieces fit
ill rub it in your face
show you what you stand for
your wrong answers

solviong your riddles
whats the answer in the middle of all these sick individuals
whose the ones to blame
your utopia of $%& just got taken away

the pieces fit allright
ill point you out
tell everyone what part of the twisted plot
how you betray me
building my case
its just too obvious
way too obvious
disk by disk
movie by movie
how your working together for genocide
i have no time for you good riddance
swim in your own viceral

tell me why you said those things you said
acted the way you did
lied to me again
the part of your own denial
a world throws you away
not me for being innocent
the world you create how it affected me
we will be going to trial

building my case
learned from your hate speach
all the times you tried to kill me
you get paid to live my dreams
the ones you takle away from me
building my case i'll show everyone
what your doing
building my case
you are a war crime
and your not getting away with it

go live with yourself
obsessed with yourself
and how you can lash out
i dont need it
i have no time for this
life is too short for this bull$%&^
so i'm building my case
of your warcrimes

I don't forgive you
i never will
laugh all you want at your power trip
your delusion of pwer does not have me fooled

The Tune

It seems that every poem I write has a dreadful tune
The more I listen to tune the more poetry I ruin
Ill try to write a song I think it really is a pain
For when I have a lyric I have no sweet refrain

Even as I’m writing this, the tune is in my head
Why can I not write poetry, which musically is dead?
It’s driving me right round the bend this music I can hear
It would seem I can not write poetry without music I fear

I want to take this music thing and throw it clean away
For when I write my poetry it just gets in the way
It’s hear again to haunt me the words mix with tune
Please stop I beg, please stop I say, please stop and make it soon

And it has at last after a long time
It has now allowed me just to write in rhyme
No music, no sound, the tune has departed as if forgot
Funny now I feel down hearted. NOT!!!!!!!

Glorified Hermit

Entrance my heart oh silent air
my thoughts allowed to zoom and sail
to bounce off walls of self defeat
and rain back down in liquid sheets.
Like music lost in fingertips
which hum and rest upon my lips
but flee when passerby's arrive
to catch me at my most alive.
Thoughts which dwell in corner closets
dark and warm until I conjure
up their image in my dreams
although quite wide awake I be.
Mournful melody, thoughts of rhythm
surging from the lonely chasm
written out with shaking pencil
fast as they will let me catch them.
Sometimes thoughts come out in oils
sometimes they speak in watercolors
trees with roots running off the page
or a basket of apples in brown and sage.
That look you have with the sun in your eyes
or the mirror of canvas in bright green skies.
Then there are thoughts which will only let go
when the poetry pulls them and lets them flow.
Loosed they are known for sweeping statements grand
and building tall stories on shifting sand.
They won't blink an eye to a passerby
as strangers are known to occasionally lie.
They fuel up the music and hand art a brush
and glare at the air with an infinite "hush"!
For poetry, melody, painting uninhibited
is the limitless gift of the glorified hermit.

How Mark T Made His Mark

Money for nothing...
Newmark & Lewis you see
Was where Mark T worked
And was visited,
By a famous rocker
Who likely got the idea from him
I long wondered if true
And have been more than satisfied
With the proof.

I thought this tribute was done,
Then I realized I'd missed
the mark...(and I do miss Mark, believe me)
Mark's mark was really on those
He shared the earth with.
No one ever influenced me musically
more than Mark. What he taught me,
I couldn't have learned in Juilliard's.
And not just music.
Mark was way ahead of his time.
Way ahead.
He had his weaknesses, who doesn't?
But he did have a good heart.
He was a good friend.
I am sure he was a good father.

I was in numerous bands with him.
Like I earlier stated, somehow
his presence calmed me, even
when we were facing unscaleable
obstacles.
Once he brought over two albums,
pre- band practice. I was introduced to
Floyd's "Atom Heart Mother", and the Dead's
Live Dead version of "Dark Star"

To this day, these are my favorite
pieces of music, particularly "Atom Heart".

How I wish we could have spent more time together.
How I grieve, with his family.
Only years later learning of this.
Countlessly trying to reach him prior.
Someday I will.

You Will Never Die

You will not die,
you will
not go away.
You sat the poison on
the table,
I saw it
with wet eyes, damp
cheeks. I wish
I could breath lavender
air, so that
life would leave me alone
I wish that you
would burn out.
Go away my mental
pain,
my black memories.
My broken rainbow, lost
in the fog
can see you in
the distance.
Never will you go away
because
scars never heal.

Records are making a comeback

When they stopped making records in 1989, I thought it was the end.
But today my brother told me that they're going to make records again.
For years I've thought they should make both CDs and records and let the
consumer choose.
After nineteen long years, records are finally making a comeback and that is
really great news.
Thirty years ago when I was a child, I liked records a whole lot.
I'm going to play the new records on the phonographs I've got.

You controlled yourself
and such
maturity
mess mess mess
hush hush hush
wont say anything

push the button
show me
everything
they see
Nothing

I'll put the soap away
I'll sew my mouth shut
I wont tell a soul
a word
pinky swear
mess mess
hush hush
wont say a thing

I'm not so blind

push the button
rewind the tape

and who said what again?

Who are you in this Act?
and who am I?
Why should I listen to you
If i'm not sure if i can trust you
and what's in it for me
and i know all about cleaning up after me

mess mess mess
hush hush hush
push the button

I'll hide the soap
i wont say anything
I'll keep myself in line
I'll be kind
I'll make them laugh
I'll make them cry

Weill be the best team
but why should I?

Hush Hush
such a mess
hush hush
Such a mess
push the button

What did I miss?

Critical Moments

Circles of confusion and a mirrored box
Image decisive instants of living and dying,
Entering and leaving the state of existence
In movement and idleness
Capturing the connection of all things...
The closer to, the less seen,
The further away, the bigger the picture
Yet, there's always something hidden
That answers the reasons why, shows new ways
Of thought that suggests stones and studs
Metal and glass from ground, trees, air and sun
With flesh and bone of darker shades of white
Lighter shades of black interrelating for undertones
Of what's his, what's hers and everything is theirs
On paper without words for the deaf through
The unseen for the blind... the emotional by way
Of what is felt reveals the greatest mysteries
And implications of the objective and subjective
Views join together for knowledge to understand
The crucial for a better society on earth
As the truth that is a lie etches in the memory
And freezes in time culture by capturing
Critical moments that connect all things in
A mirrored box through circles of confusion
To usher in indispensable periods of success

subjects are shaky,
I write out my soul with nothing more then 01,
I use slang with abandon,
and rhythem is just not my thing,
but though my problems are here,
so is my heart,
my words might not be the greatest,

I will figure out my problems,

like blues with rhythm to the soul
The beat picks up a notch to pass

Somewhere in the crashing sound
All the rhythm spinning round
across the blend a counter tune
whispers in and out

Hidden, private visions he dares to peruse

I'm a victom of too little too late

Prevention!
The stars sing to me
to set up games
to look for players
to save my life
from the sick world of satanic cults....
I know you're thinking
How do I know?

I'm the modern day
David Gayle
She swallowed the key
She wrapped the bag around her head and taped it up
after intercourse

Once upon a time
I talked to the T.V.
I told them
I didn't want
anyone help me become succesfull
little did I know
everyone was going to spend
the rest of their lives
fighting me

Now I'm crying
from the truth your not believing
and the mental scars I have you don't see

A call for help is a sign for suckers
DANGEROUS!

Once upon a time
the radio talked to me
I told the radio
i needed a friend
a shadow
a mystery
little did I know
I'd be studied
and cast aside
after being thrown away

mentally tormented and raped

I could have lived happily ever after
The radio mocks me
The tv runs away from the truth of me
the police won't investigate me
and the mental institutes laugh

But one day
I'll get the last laugh
maybe
when I get away and prove it

For now I'm the victom of too little too late!

I'm proof crazy people aren't as nuts as you thin
but victoms like me
how do I break the cycle
and start the next?

They say we couldnt do it without you
they say we could do it for you
they say we couldnt do it without you

Somethings you need to hear
while your background music of life plays on
foresight to the hindsight
of what you are going through
like psychics are composing rock and roll
to your life and shattered tattered dreams that mjake you scream

while everyone is living in fear
broken down
and reorganised
to get it all worng
once again
to find whose really stuck in the middle of all these pagans
traditions of the previous apocalyptic egyptians
hypnotised
and organised
to say something from me to you

Pieces of a puzzle
fading away
screaming night and day
a piece of thousands of souls
many voices tell this tale
from one chapter oto the next
leading you to where you want to be
whether crawling back to me
or not
wether im the best you ever had or not
to find the logic
the conformity
to the republic of justoce
the self explained miracle
of the one mind we all copy whose truly in the lead
out for a piece of him or herself
and one day we will come to find
we race to finish his sentences and play a game finishing those

something you need to hear
a wish that you never met me
something you cant say to me when nothing feels the same
something i cannot connect of lies in everyword you sang
in all abviousness it must be over
But i will be back forever and always when its over
even when it ends in time
and i will try again to paint you all red
on the blue holiday

Forever

This is me the one who speaks, I'm listening to my heart the one who speaks,
and it is true to me.

I love the way you look at me and your eyes oh your eyes is just like lookin ginto
the beautiful sky, It brings tears to my eyes, I cannot hide from you anymore,
Forever I will have you heart forever and more.

You bring tears to my eyes to make me cry, Your smile is like.... an angel raising
and raising it goes, To follow my heart where it goes.

You make me day dream, and my fantasy of you and me, Dream forever my love
dream for you and me.

I will always be your friend from wherever you are to the bottom of my heart, and
my soul from the bottom of my heart, please remember me.

But I remember you and what me and you did I write this from sad songs to the
tears of my eyes, I wish to tell you from the skies, which heaven lies beyond the
skies.

God knows where we will be I both will seek back you and me.

Forever hold your peace,
We will rest in peace.

The end
