Pledge of love and loyalty

This pledge that l,Ntando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed l am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only lie
in word alone but in action as well.

For that reason in every season
I shall show steadfast commitment
to the implementation of this pledge
with a great deal of astuteness.
I therefore commit myself to be your
devoted and delivering husband for
all the years l shall live with you
on this earth.

I shall treat you with the love and care
you deserve as my wife.
Indeed l shall treat you with
the distinction and dignity
that is befitting of the queen of my heart.
That body, that bone, that breath
shall be my mine to treasure,
for sure;
a dearness to promote and protect
for dear life…and love!
I shall stand by and with you in all the
situations of our life.
If the situation demands that we sail,
sail we shall together.
If the situation demands that we
climb,
climb we shall together.

I know very well what l am getting into:
I am getting into a marriage that is
overflowing with blessings.
This marriage- with our mutual
commitment-
will stand the test of time.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
brims over with a transforming power
of love.

This marriage-with our
mutual commitment –
will transform naivety into maturity
troubles into challenges
pretence into practice
pride into progress
bachelorship into companionship.
I pledge to be your steward and partner
for all times.

I shall value the consultations
and decisions that we make as
husband and wife.
As head of the family I shall do nothing

to derail our love train for anything else
least of all for personal and selfish reasons.
Now and forever

I am your lawful and loving husband…
This pledge that l, Nothando, make today serves
as my guideline that I shall follow
happily, ungrudgingly and tirelessly
for the sake of our love life.
Indeed I am well aware of the fact that
the beauty of this pledge does not only
lie in pronouncements but in practice
as well.

For this reason every season
I shall demonstrate untiring love
and loyalty to you;
a love and a loyalty that is a living
embodiment of our marriage vows.
I therefore commit myself to be your
honouring, supportive and loving wife
for all the years l shall live with you.
I shall treat you with the love and care
that you deserve as my husband.
Indeed I shall treat you with
the dignity and nobility that is befitting
of the king of my heart.
On my mind it is always fresh
that I am the flesh of your flesh.
Green or grown

I am the bone of your bone.
I know very well what I am getting into:
I am getting into a relationship that
elevates me into a kingdom of wifehood.
I shall endevour to put my family first
with all the rights, obligations
and privileges that come with wifehood.
I shall endevour to wipe off and ward off
loneliness and lostness from our relationship,
seeking nothing but your companionship;
banking on your stewardship,
sinking together any hardship.
Since you are mine
I shall not do anything else to undermine
our relationship for personal
or egotistical
reasons.
Now and forever
I am your lawful and loving wife…

Jesus Christ Is Coming Back Down

To the tune of "Santa Clause Is Coming To Town"

You better look up,
prepare for His sight.
The Lord will come back
some day or some night.
Jesus Christ Is Coming Back Down.

He's making a list.
He's paid the great price.
Who's going in route
to His paradise?
Jesus Christ Is Coming Back Down.

He sees you when you're breathing.
He knows you need His grace.
He knows that we have all been bad,
but He died to take our place.

With bright Seraphim and bright Cherubim,
Trumpy trumpets, and drummy drum drums,
Jesus Christ Is Coming Back Down.

He sees you when you're weeping.
He offers His embrace.
He knows you like nobody else,
yet He loves you anyway.

You better not doubt.
You wanna know why?
Your life could end soon.
There's no second try.
Jesus Christ Is Coming Back Down
Jesus Christ Is Coming Back Down
Jesus Christ Is Coming Back Down

tired of me

am i all that you wanted
am i what you were askin for
or am i just like last years christmas toys?
you're tired of me

i see a different side of you
after one problem we're though, we start over again
you're locked up and away from me
you go farther and farther away
you're tired of me

am i all that you wanted
am i what you were askin for
or am i just like last years christmas toys?
you're tired of me

you used to love me
now you doubt me
you used to trust me
now you fear me
you were just like me
now we're different.
you dont understand me. you dont even care!

am i all that you wanted
am i what you were askin for
or am i just like last years christmas toys?
you're tired of me

i see a different side or you
after one problem we're through. we start over again
you're locked up and away from me
you go farther and farther away
you're tired of me

you're listenin to lies
and to my surprise. you believe the words they spit in your eyes.
what did i do, to get this from you?
you never even asked me if it was true!
why do you do this to me?

am i all that you wanted
am i what you were askin for
or am i just like last years christmas toys?
you're tired of me

i guess love doesnt live here anymore
im fallin and dont know what to do
im tired of the mess, but i dont wanna live without you!
what do you want me to do?
or is it true....
                         you're tired of me

you used to love me
now you doubt me
you used to trust me
now you fear me
you were just like me
now we're different
you dont understand me. you dont even care!

am i all that you wanted
am i what you were askin for
or am i just like last years christmas toys?
youre tired of me

Christmas Bells

Ding, dong, ding dong,
Christmas bells are ringing,
Ding, dong, ding dong,
The choirs are a' singing.

It's a magical time of year.
Snow, and mistletoe, all good cheer.
Welcome, welcome, come near.
We welcome the spirit here.

Ding, dong, ding dong,
Christmas bells are ringing,
Ding, dong, ding dong.
The choirs are a' singing.

Red little hoods and a red nose.
The north shining star how it glows.
Golden tinsel and golden bows,
White covered as it snows.

Ding, dong, ding dong.
Christmas bells are ringing.
Here them chime right on time.
He who loves is singing.
The Christmas bells are ringing.

The Christmas Song -Of Woe-

Who is knocking on my door tonight?
Debt collectors! Those thugs that we'll ignore
Yuletide woes being sung by my spouse
While we've drawn the shades, and doused the lights!

Everyone knows a turkey and some mistletoe
Would help to make the season bright
But we'll be eating beans, 'cause our pocketbooks are lean
Oh! We're out of Tums!!......The house could blow tonight !!!

They say that Santa's on his way
But our petty cash won't jingle much today
So this mother hen is going to cry
Because her hungry chicks won't have an egg to fry!

And so, I'm offering this simple phrase....
To folks from one to ninety two
Although the recession....is behind our depression...
Merry Christmas, ....Boo Hoo !

Love in July

Someone is lost and afraid
Someone who wanders the night
Someone who cries in the dark
And who waits for the light
Someone clings by a thread,
Under harsh summer skies...
Someone we pass on the street

There are strangers we see
Whose paths we have crossed
Where the cruel fates were tossed
Where loneliness creeps
Where all hope has been lost

Don't cast aside...give just a glance
Where heartache abides, offer a chance
To heal wounded pride
Don't brush aside

Somewhere are those who have none
Alone in the sun
Somewhere a hungry child sleeps and a mother that weeps
So frightened each day of being alive
Look in her eyes...

Someone who needs just a friend
Someone who needs helping hands
Someone who, like it or not
Will need you to share..... a little, a lot,
Help her survive, or give him a start
A gift, big or small, a piece of your heart,
Carry her pain, so she can walk tall......

On a bright summer's day
Bring Christmas their way...
Where rainbows begin
To a place in the sun
Where the smiles never end

Don't look away ....be someone's friend..
Give a piece of yourself
Don't sit on the shelf
Bring joy to those eyes...
A Christmas surprise
Wrapped with love in July!!

Santa's Seeing Red

-------------------------------------------------------------
Santa’s Seeing Red

Late one evening up at the pole
Santa was watching TV
He shook his head as he started for bed
After seeing how people could be
All night long he tossed and turned
I guess he just couldn’t let go
He saw a sleigh and watched burn
As it sat there in the snow
When he woke He realize
That Christmas was actually dead
He couldn’t sleep with those sugarplums
Dancing inside his head, Now it’s said
      Santa’s seeing red

That next morning, Santa was warming
His hands by a fireside
Someone had set the toyshop a flame
But there was no one, to blame in site
The elves then noticed the deer were gone
Someone must have let them go
But they never seemed to take noticed
There were no tracks left in the snow
That same day they had a feast
But not a single word was said
About were all the meat came from
That was stuffed inside the bread, with Christmas dead
      Santa’s seeing red

After dinner Santa stood up
And laid off all of his crew
He said the world was so screwed up
There was nothing He could do
He said that people hearts were colder
Much colder than the Arctic’s air
They're filled with greed, and blind to the needs
Of poor people everywhere,
So Father Christmas will be no more
For the little girls and little boys
They can say goodbye to all of those treats
And all those fricken' toys, Because instead
     Santa’s seeing red

So when the twenty-fifth rolls by
You can treat it like another day
Santa’s found a new hometown
And a different game to play
He now sits back upon a beach
With women and booze he likes
Forgetting about frozen toes
And all of those silent nights
So don’t you pout and you better watch out
For that lump of coal instead
You did your part now add to your cart
All the things that I’ve just said, and where it’s lead
     To Santa’s seeing red

Some say that giving is more blessed
And better than to receive
Santa will put you to the test
And see what you believe
So pass a man who’s homeless
Without reaching for a little doe
For what you do might follow you
No matter where you go
Now you’re sitting on Christmas eve
Just thinking about what I’ve said
You’ll all miss your shiny gifts
But not the people without bread, so stay bed
         Cause Santa’s seeing red

So don’t look at the poor folks
Just look the other way
And Christ won’t be the only one
That’s missing on Christmas day,
Just drink until you’re merry
And feast until you’re full
He knows that you’ve been naughty
Cause he’s not gullible
So when you see him on the street
It’s a sight that you should dread
Cause he knows all your sins
And they're stored inside his head or so it’s said
         Santa’s seeing red

Now it’s time to anti up
And dig into your stash
If you want him to stay quiet
Better cough up a little cash
And I think that you’ll remember
Christmas time every year
It’s time to give to Santa
Or live in constant fear
So you had better be real nice
And kick in a little bread
And you’ll better not think it twice
Or your reputation will be dead, like I said
Santa’s seeing red

That Christmas Feeling

A snowy Christmas is what we all prayed for
Probably because it never happened before
We didn’t need it to have Christmas cheer
But it sure would be nice to see the white stuff this year

You can’t force it; that Christmas feeling just comes to you
Can’t tell you how, but even when it’s overdue..
Life’s trials sometimes get in the way
But if you’re open to it, that Christmas feeling will come to you and stay
…If you’re open, it will come to you and stay.

One Christmas a few years back, I was having a drink in an old country bar
Listening to a guy play Blue Christmas on guitar
An old bar tender poured me another beer, looked over and said
By the shape of your dungarees, it’s been one hell of a year.

Christmas had me thinking, Is this how it ought to be?
Usually it was a Spirit, most would say Holy, which helped me to see
Then I smiled, ‘cause a thought showed me, it might not have turned out okay
If in 3rd grade, Mrs. Harrington hadn’t sat me in your way

That Christmas feeling will come to you and stay …If you’re open, it will come to you and stay.

The bartender saw the new smile on my face
Said laughingly, That newlywed glow will soon leave without a trace
I didn’t have the heart to tell him, but this Christmas it’s been fifteen years
Since I fell in love with you forever, ‘cause it’s the heart that hears

As I drive up to our home, with it’s simple light show
A feeling came over me and it began to snow
I could hear the kids joyfully screaming inside
And I thanked God that he helped me hang on for the ride.

We all feel low at times; it’s just that way
But it you’re open to it, that Christmas feeling will come to you and stay
…If you’re open, it will come to you and stay.

Some have asked about how song turned out. Check for on itunes under my name Shawn Sackman. Thanks.

ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU

I was just trying to remember the past
trying to remember the good people
 and the bad people,
that i came across on my way,

i want you to know
that you are among the good people
that left a good trace in my life,

once again i just want to say thank you
for passing through my life,
is so short but is wonderful
i want you here forever.

Santa's Helper

"Santa's Helper" is a children's song, sung to the tune of "I'm a Little Teapot".

I am Santa's helper;
Look at me,
Wrapping presents
Merrily.

Soon it will be Christmas...
Don't you know?
Gotta' get Santa's sleigh
Ready to go!

Author's Note: "Santa's Helper" makes a good activity song for children:

I am Santa's helper;
Look at me, (child points to himself)
Wrapping presents (child mimics wrapping gifts)
Merrily. (child smiles)

Soon it will be Christmas... (child points to calendar or clock)
Don't you know? (child holds hands out to sides and shrugs shoulders)
Gotta' get Santa's sleigh
Ready to go! (child mimics stuffing a sleigh with toys)

The Perfect Christmas Gift

The angel Gabriel appeared to Mary,
He said that she would bear a son,
And call Him Jesus, the Son of David,
The Saviour, man, and Holy One.

(Chorus)
The perfect gift came down from heaven,
The Son of God born on the earth;
The Prince of Peace, the King of Jacob,
Became a babe of humble birth.

The shepherds kneeling, the angels singing,
Give praises to the infant Lord.
The Father's glory shines round about them;
The love of God that night outpoured.

(Chorus)

His beaming star stood above the manger,
It led the wise men from the East;
They fell and worshipped, and then presented
Their gifts to Jesus, King and Priest.

(Chorus)

Santa Is A Yorkshire Man

To put an end to the myth that Santa lives in Lapland

Santa is a Yorkshire man everybody knows that
People just say he's from Lapland, cos he’s round and fat.
Well Yorkshire men can be the same they are not all dud
All year on the beer and whiskey, washed down with Yorkshire pud.

Santa is a Yorkshire man everybody in Yorkshire knows that
You say the Lapland Santa, glows warm and are red, and fat.
Well Yorkshire Santa’s have glowing bits, but they keep them out of sight
Except on Christmas Eve when their pants have got too tight.

Santa is a Yorkshire man so stop making such a fuss
A Santa who know what’s what, so you can call on us
If your chimney is too tight, Yorkshire Santa will let you know
He’ll leave your present’s elsewhere, and you will have to go.
To collect you gifts is your own fault if your chimney is too small
Don’t expect him to get up there, he doesn’t want to fall.

A spade is a spade wherever you go Santa will tell you that
If you want to get your presents early, try Ilkley moor barh t at.
They meet there on Christmas Eve to swap gifts and stories too
That’s why they all have glowing bits, I bet you would have too.
He doesn’t have time to mess about, you people should know that
Santa is a Yorkshire man, there’s no more to say that’s that.

Yorkshire folk are know for being down to earth and saying what they see, ie a spade is a spade and not an earth moving device.
Ilky Moor Bar tat a famous Yorkshire Folk song where lovers meet and she chides him for not wearing a hat. The winds of the moor causing death and he will be eaten by worms and so on (google it)

Emmanuel

A royal King was born, Emmanuel --
Down by His manger men and angels fell;
But he did not within a palace dwell,
Instead he came to save our souls from hell.

The years had passed and death was coming nigh;
He bore His cross while Mary softly cried:
What pain to watch her Son so slowly die,
While wishing Him a tearful last goodbye.

A mother's tears no words could ever tell --
As one by one at Jesus' feet they fell:
What pain to watch her Son so slowly die,
While wishing Him a tearful last goodbye.

Christmas Card Party

If dreams were real and
Heaven sent,
Then surely angels came
Last night

We gathered 'round with cards
A'plenty, and sang
Our wishes by
The twenty

To friends and family
Near and far,
Our hearts were twinklin'
Like the stars

Great food, good cheer, we laughed
All night,
With warmest wishes, love
Was bright

One night, forever shall
Be told,
Love lives eternal,
Despite
The cold

Tho time has burnished
Memory dim,
They came last night,

The

Seraphim!

A Simple Southern Christmas

It's gonna be a simple southern Christmas here.
All I want from Santa is some egg nog, bourbon and beer.
I'm gonna wait on Santa Christmas Eve night,
and when he's not lookin' I just might,
steal his reindeer.
It's gonna be a simple southern Christmas here.
I'm sending out my Christmas cheer.
I'm gonna sit on my front porch swing and sing.
It will be a good thing to hear those jingle bells ring.
I thought I seen Santa on the backwoods bayou road,
but instead it was a big fat toad.
It'a a wonderful simple southern Christmas here.
Santa just brought me some egg nog, bourbon, and beer.
When he wasn't lookin' I stole his reindeer.
So now I can deliver my Christmas cheer.
But hurry, hurry, I'm in a rush,
got to give that reindeer a little push.
Got to go, got to go,
got to get home to fix my gumbo.
It is Christmas day,
and I'm in a rush I must say.
It's gonna be a simple southern Christmas here.
Just add egg nog, bourbon and beer.
Mix it up with some Christmas cheer.
I'm ready for Christmas every year.

The Christmas tree

I have a small, small tree,
Covered by golden light.
Everyone is happy to see
My tree in Christmas night,

The star may be unseen,
An angel is in her prow,
The gift boxes are green
Tied with a red bow,

The bedroom’s light is shut,
But the tree’s lights I keep.
Even so my love will put
Me and my girl to sleep
With a Christmas lullaby
And I will dream like a baby!

LETTER TO SANTA

He sat up late one night and wrote,
His heartfelt Christmas dream.
Dear Santa, I wont ask for much.
His eyes began to gleam.
I've got a baseball and a glove,
A rocket and launching pad.
I've got so many things to share,
But, I haven't got my dad.
He left us not to long ago.
He didn't even pack.
He went to heaven, Mommy said.
But, now I want him back.

I miss my Daddy.
I miss the way he holds my hand.
I miss my Daddy.
And I don't really understand.
I miss my Daddy.
I know he must be missing me.
If you can find him, Santa.
Please, put him underneath the Christmas tree.

He always hugs me when he leaves.
He always says goodbye.
I hope he wasn't mad at me.
It makes me want to cry.
It's not the same without him here.
Why did he go away?
My Mommy's eyes are always red.
She won't come out and play.
Dear Santa, I just want one thing.
The love that I once had.
I'll give you everything I own,
If you'll bring me my Dad.

I miss my Daddy.
I miss the way he holds my hand.
I miss my Daddy.
And I don't really understand.
I miss my Daddy.
I know he must be missing me.
If you can find him, Santa.
Please, put him underneath the Christmas tree.

I hope it's not to much to ask.
I hope I've made it clear.
My Mommy misses Daddy, too,
And wishes he were here.
If you can't bring him back to me,
I hope I'll understand.
You've always done your best, I know,
To make my Christmas grand.

I miss my Daddy.
I miss him every single day.
I miss my Daddy.
OH Santa. Why'd he go away?
I miss my Daddy.
I know he must be missing me.
Please! Find my Daddy, Santa.
And put him underneath the Christmas tree.

What is Christmas

A time of many lights to see,
Of tinsel, garland and wreath's so fair.
Of hundreds of bulbs upon a tree,
With twinkling lights and angel hair.

A festive time with thoughts of Santa Clause,
Of jingle bells, and distant sounds of sleighs.
From the daily rush we're in, we pause,
Remembering once more our childhood days.

The time for eggnog and a cozy fire,
Have the Christmas story and often games.
Of candy canes, children never seem to tire,
While watching a Yule log's flickering flame.

A time for the hanging of mistletoe,
The singing of carols and children at play.
A time of merriment and places to go.
To many, these are this holiday.

For early mall arrival and long lines,
To retrieve that last gift before we rest.
Parking lot disagreements, fights and fines,
We're seeing free enterprise at its best.

Of bells and kettles in the mall,
With scent's of baked goods and pines.
While searching for gifts for one and all,
We encounter rudeness and sold out signs.

Christmas can be like this, it's true,
But lest we forget this time of year.
Let's look at things from a different view,
As the birthdate of the Christ child dear.

In a twinkling stars five points I see,
Two arms, two legs, a head.
I see the cross in a Christmas tree,
Where a Savior hung and bled.

In the manger scene I'm taken back,
To the place the Christ child lay.
I view the gifts in Santa's sack,
As those the wise men brought that day.

In a simple wreath of vines I see,
A crown of thorns that Jesus wore.
Of a scourging he once took for me,
And of man's sin that at Calvary he bore.

Within each candle seen glowing bright,
One thought comes to my mind.
That in my world He's still my light,
God's precious gift to all mankind.

In a candy cane of white and red,
I see His body without sin.
The crimson, being where he bled,
So that man might be born again.

Then looking into a yule log set aflame,
Unable to imagine the torment one will feel.
If living life as though Jesus never came,
Only to discover at death, that Hell is real.

Christmas Morning

Christmas is that time of year
When friends and family gather near
The children giggle with delight
Anticipating Santa’s flight

Wondering if their list has been read
As they snuggle down in their warm bed
Excited about what tomorrow will bring
Trying to listen for the bells to ring

Then before you know it we open our eyes
Run down the stairs to see the surprise
“Wake up mom and dad look what’s here”
We jump and laugh and give a cheer

Santa came, Santa came look what he left
A doll, a bike, a big treasure chest
Our stockings are full of goodies too
We must have been good the whole year through

I can’t believe the things we got
Santa must really love us a lot
So always help your mom and dad
And work on being good, not bad

Santa knows what we do
When we’re happy or feeling blue
Always make sure and try your best and
Santa will take care of the rest

So stoke the fire add some wood
And remember who’s watching
You better be good!

Merry Christmas!!!

12 days Of Christmas

On the twelfth day of Christmas
My true love sent to me
Twelve extra pounds
Eleven lots of will power
Ten ways to cook tofu
Nine work out cd’s
Eight health warnings
Seven ryvita biscuits
Six types of muesli
My five a day
Four calorie counters
Three sets of scales
Two low fat yoghurts
And one new diet for me

Nailed On The River Styx

Some glide, some slide,
And some couples list from both sides,
Energy drink fugue fried,
Glow worms on boards swiftly unglued by the night,
A babbling brook of dreaming lips steam-open the frazzled,
And closed circuit dollies shall frack their eyes.

Glittering indigo swans card shuffle the dawn
slim-line nascent functioning forms;
The store fronts' knee-deep teardrop lights
glow with the reckoning:
Inkling herds concussed with ultraviolet kisses,
The neon wash of cobalt, fuchsia, oyster and saffron hues,
Their shopping bags which shimmer
withhold intelligent tags resounding with personal news to lose..

Earphones wash the tumbling ice rink sonics of youth -
The white noise smeared illusions,
Fancifully duct taped with lip-read truths:
Cinnamon fairy tales of moon/June travails and trampled over glamour;
The vapouriser aspirations paint a palate of crowbar colours.
Defunct holy grails mist in laser guided vapour trails -
This planet's constellations of hurt sailed,
And embers stoke and smoke desires and wishes,
Burning,
The burned burn those bridges..

With purpose, the legions parched return their unwanted gifts,
Spilt back inside their glass plastic sense,
I'll be good for your gold, perhaps,
if you'll allow a cash refund for this myrrh and frankincense..

Christmas Eve

Sing to the melody... “La Cucaracha"

The little children/ the little children/ setting sugar cookies and warm milk....../
Hoping to see him/ hoping to see him/ in his red and white silk!

The little children/ the little children/ anticipate the leading red light........../
Hoping to see him/ hoping to see him/ sliding down the chimney tonight!

The little children/ the little children/ falling asleep on the couch....../
They didn't see him/ they didn't see him/ setting presents in a crouch!

Snow From God

snow falls lightly
from the sky up above
soflty falling down
like the feather of a dove

each snow flake is different
like each one of us
falling to the ground
like snow often does

it's steals away breath
this brilliant thing
so pure and refreshing
like the songs angels sing

they sing for remembrance
of God and his sun
throwing down these white tokens
to say winter has begun

white is for birth
the birth of baby christ
white is for hope
that things are alright

each flake that falls
from the sky up above
is a gift from God
telling us we are loved

go pick out the perfect tree,is it leaning left or is it just me,oh
hun it looks just fine. We'll hang the tisles, string the lights, these
ornaments will take all night,it's alot of work but that's alright,
it's Christmas time. We'll eat to much and swear again, that come
new year were gettin in,the best shape that we've ever been, but
we know we're lyin.So pass the pie and one more roll, and pass me
that remote control,oh looky here I love this show,it's Christmas time.
It's Christmas time who's at the door,i'm sure there's room for seven
more,we'll make some pallets on the floor, that will be just fine. The
turkey's done pull up a chair,grab a hand let's say a prayer,for all those
soldiers over there, you know it's Christmas time. We'll wrap the gifts
in green and red,you kids get back up in your bed,or Santa won't come
in his sled,he"ll just fly right by,then you'll wake up in an hour or two,to
mommy look this one's for you,I love it hun I really do,it's Christmas time.
It's Christmas time again you know,it hit me just an hour ago,it ain't
about the mistle toe, let's keep that in mind. It's about the star that led the
way,the baby child born that day.it's cause of him we all say,
IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!

Framed by Love

You asked me to make sure your husband didn’t drink that December day as I pushed your chair through glass-encased gardens. A friend in need you had always been, I could deny you nothing, but Paul lost it and left town when you died. Living just long enough to see your first grandchild born, it was a three-year battle before cancer put you in that wheelchair. Look at how lovingly Paul holds your hand here, standing by Chris whose smile lit our lives. Chris and I gave the eulogy together as you asked, but you knew that since Chris is with you now. Only weeks after your death did we learn of Chris’s cancer. Tell him I miss our travels as I embrace this photo with my heart’s frame of eternal love.
*For Sidney Lee Ann’s “Picture Frame” contest Dedicated to Jeanett, who saw her grandson born on Christmas before dying in January 2003. Our friend Chris died Christmas Day 2005. The photo makes me think how different life was when we spent all our free time together.

L, O, V, E,

Do you remember this?

Perfect of all imperfections

Clueless of all clues

Ideas of all all ideologies

Even, depth of all depths

Just thinking...what more can be said

If you are not a partaker of the feelings

Alright! Hold it right there it says...

Did you forget to say this?

Its the thoughts of all thinkers

The warmth of a real heart and

The story behind all imaginations

Better still, the heart that speaks solemn

The very night of every night

The memorable ones i must say...

Its tenderness so soft, so mild it is

Expressions are real you can not fake it

I remember now dave

So time less,it has no boundaries

Un ending its nature has become

I seem to have found the right word

Could it be called love? Gentle in its kindness

Yes! yes! yes!!! It sounds like it

love of varsal entorganism

Until I'm Consumed

Let the words I speak
Be unto you
Let the one I seek
Be only you
And let my heart beat
Beat for you
And let my soul
Burn for you
Til I'm consumed
Until I'm consumed
.
Won't you take all of me
Until your image in me
is all you see
But You won't take what I won't give
And my sin won't die until You live
Inside of me
I feel I'm hangin by a thread
This old man just isn't dead
I keep reviving him instead of trusting You
.
So Let the words I speak
Be unto you
Let the one I seek
Be only you
And let my heart beat
Beat for you
And let my soul
Burn for you
Til I'm consumed
Until I'm consumed
.
And when my day comes
To an end
And I look back at where I have been
Many roads I've traveled
Sure took a wrong turn now and then
I need You just as much right now, as I did back then
.
So Let the words I speak
Be unto you
Let the one I seek
Be only you
And let my heart beat
Beat for you
And let my soul
Burn for you
Til I'm consumed
Until I'm consumed
.
Let there never be a doubt
That You changed me from the inside out
It was only You all along
I could never be that strong
On my own
.
Let the words I speak
Be unto you
Let the one I seek
Be only you
And let my heart beat
Beat for you
And let my soul
Burn for you
Til I'm consumed
Until I'm consumed
Until everything in me
Looks just like You

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

    CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
I keep saying Merry Christmas,
Xmas just don't mean it.
Christmas without Santa Claus
is alright by me.
----chorus
Part of your Christmas lights
are Jesus, and you and me.
He's in every Merry Christmas
You'll ever hear from me.

I keep saying Merry Christmas,
Xmas has no feeling.
I keep thinking Santa Claus
Should come another night.
---------chorus
Part of your Christmas lights
are Jesus, and you and me.
He's in every Merry Christmas
You'll ever hear from me.

I'll keem wishing Merry Christmas.
I'll keep hoping Merry Christmas.
I'll keep saying Merry Christmas.

It is a song, but the lyric is still being worked on and I'll
have it done pretty quick and get it recorded for Christmas 2014. But I will
have my first Demo of it in just a day or two, on my own website, vbdosa dot com
and a video on YOUTUBE.
The best time to Plug a Christmas song is about late March or early April..
